Theater sets the stage for furnishings sale

Taking a break from Shakespeare and Dostoevski, A Noise Within will stage a different kind of theatrical production Saturday when it hosts an enormous garage sale of props, costumes and furniture from the Glendale theater company’s warehouse. The sale will feature huge discounts on set pieces, props, curtains of every size and yards of fabric. ‘We’re selling everything, including gorgeous furniture pieces used in past productions, vintage prop knickknacks perfect for decorating, and racks and racks of clothing — men’s, women’s and kids — ranging from elegant vintage to the everyday to fabulous Halloween costumes, ‘ says Rebecca Baillie, A Noise Within’s production manager. The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the theater, 234 S. Brand Blvd., Glendale. Admission is $1.
