The Scout: Up to 50% off at 45 Three Modern Vintage's Saturday parking lot sale
Setting anchor amidst Little Ethiopia's sea of restaurants and charity thrift shops, 45 Three Modern Vintage has become a reliable source for unusual furniture at lower-than-usual prices.
This Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., owner Staci Cain, who has a penchant for upholstering Mod-era chairs in eye-popping fabrics, is staging a parking lot sale with savings of up to 50%.
Among the finds: a set of four 1970s chrome armchairs covered in wild prints, reduced from $480 to $250 each, and a black leather club chair with steel legs, once $650, now $380.
Two more steals, as shown here: a midcentury turquoise ceramic genie-bottle lamp on a brass base, complete with shade, marked down from $290 to $145, which sits on a glass-topped side table with a free-form sculptural base, reduced from $520 to $289.

The sale will take place in the back parking lot, off the alley just west of the store, which is located at 1051 1/2 S. Fairfax Ave. For further information, call (323) 932-0832.
