Garden Tour: The Moorish gardens at Casa del Herrero

June 5, 2009 |  2:11 pm

Herrero blog

Home contributor Emily Young takes us on a (virtual) tour of the Moorish style gardens at the Casa del Herrero mansion in Montecito. The mansion has long been an architectural landmark in Montecito, but this year the gardens got their due when the estate was named a national historic landmark.

We've got photos of the 1930s Moorish-style garden here, and if you are inspired to see the gardens for yourself, public tours are available by reservation for $20.

You can go to http://www.casadelherrero.com/alt/Site/req_info.htm for more info.
