These days you can get photos on practically anything -- T-shirts and handbags, pillows and puzzles, mousepads, coasters and tiles. For those who enjoy looking at their photos in a larger format -- vacation scenes, girlfriends and beloved pets -- can now be incorporated into a polyester poplin shower curtain. The custom photo-curtains are machine washable and will not fade, crack or peel. Curtains come in two sizes, a 35- by 72-inch stall shower and a 70- by 72-inch tub curtain. Delivery time: 2 to 4 weeks.

One wannabe customer sent repeated images of her derriere taken with her hand-held camera phone and was given an unqualified ‘no.’ ‘One: phone images are too low resolution for the process, ‘ explains Castleberry, ‘and two -- it wasn’t very tasteful.’
