Michael Keaton will voice the role of Ken, aka Barbie’s boy toy, in ‘Toy Story 3.’

The film’s director Lee Unkrich (in photo, left) broke the news Friday at Comic-Con International during Disney’s animation panel.

Keaton was ‘born to voice Ken,’ joked Unkrich, pictured, adding that it was the doll’s big-screen debut.

Pixar screened a scene from ‘Toy Story 3’ in 3-D -- the third movie concerns what happens to the toys when their owner, a now-grown Andy, leaves for college -- as well as some ‘old reel footage’ introducing groovy new cast member Ken.

We see Ken’s Dream House, where things are hunky-dory -- Ken shows off his shades and well-sculpted chest while being interviewed about the glamorous life.

When asked about being ‘a Barbie accessory’ and a ‘boy toy for girls,’ however, the offended Ken removes his microphone and cuts the interview off. ‘Toy Story 3’ comes out in 2010.
