Got goose bumps when I heard the news about Ricardo this morning. Just watched a biography about him on the bio channel last week. One in a million. Will be greatly missed; never heard a bad word about him, just the opposite, great family man, classy, talented and decent in an old-fashioned way.

In the wake of Montalban's passing, Obama revealed today that he would immediately scrap all Abraham Lincoln references at his inauguration and instead would deliver a new theme of “Fantasy Inauguration”.

I was fortunate enough to meet Ricardo Montalban in person when he was filming Fantasy Island in Hawaii. We happened upon the filming of a scene behind a hotel where we were dining. He was walking out of his dressing room trailor and I asked him if I could take a photo with him. He was very gracious, and even though he was being repeatedly called to film, he took his time and was very polite. He was a rare person, a fine actor and a fine man. He will be missed.
