First look: ‘Star Trek’ images hit the web

Preliminary images of Zachary Quinto as Spock and Chris Pine as a young James T. Kirk are cropping up all over the Internet. JoBlo, Ain’t It Cool News and Trekmovie.com are all talking about the new Entertainment Weekly cover and spread that’s been announced.

Exclusive movie images were also given out to five sites. Five sites OTHER than Hero Complex, but you can’t win ‘em all. The UGO movie blog is one of them, touting the photos and their happiness about getting them.

With the back-and-forth between Shatner and J.J. Abrams and Sulu getting officially hitched, the ‘Star Trek’ world hasn’t been out of the media, but these are some of the first images we’ve gotten to see of the Trek babies pre their ‘final frontier’ days.
