Kim Murphy
Kim Murphy is the Times' Northwest correspondent, based in Seattle. Since joining the L.A. Times in 1983, she has reported from the Middle East, Russia, Afghanistan and Europe. This is her second tour in the Pacific Northwest, where her territory ranges from Montana to Hawaii, Alaska and Western Canada.
