Enrique Iglesias to spend time with 'Jersey Shore' cast?

Iglesias Uh oh. Could Enrique Iglesias' wrists be in need of arthritis medication in the near future? Looks like the singer is joining the fist-pumping ranks MTV's "Jersey Shore" cast. Kind of.

MTV and Universal Republic Records are teaming up for the "Jersey Shore" soundtrack, which is scheduled to be released on July 20.  The first single off the album is the Iglesias track “I Like It,” featuring Pitbull.  Other featured artists are Lil Jon, LMFAO, Taio Cruz and Akon.

For those who have an gorilla-sized appetite for all things "Jersey Shore"  (we know you're out there), there's a deluxe edition, featuring a bonus CD with music inspired by Season 1 -- including the show’s theme song, “Get Crazy” by LMFAO.

DJ Pauly D and his bronzed counterparts will reportedly make an appearance in Iglesias' music video for "I Like It." Here's hoping Snooki finally found herself a man.

Heidi Montag moves out of home she shares with Spencer Pratt

Montag-Pratt Holy Justin Bobby! Could the reign of Speidi really be over?

Last week there were reports that the camera-loving couple had called it quits. Now Montag, in an interview with People magazine, is fueling the fire: I needed some alone time," she said, confirming reports that she has moved out of the Pacific Palisades home she shared with Pratt. "There are so many lies out there about me and I just needed space -- even away from my husband."

She added: "I've always loved Spencer ... but right now we're working on things."

Say it isn't so! Now who's going to shoot her awesome music videos??!?!

Montag plans to mull over things this summer -- when she's not yakking it up with pal and new roommate Jen Bunney, which will be captured on film -- how convenient -- as they begin shooting their own reality show.

Will you tune in?

Al and Tipper Gore splitting after 40 years of marriage

Al_tipper An Inconvenient Marriage, perhaps?

Just a few weeks after celebrating their 40th anniversary, Al and Tipper Gore have decided to separate, according to Politico.com.

The couple, best known for the smooch heard around the world at the 2000 Democratic National Convention, announced the breakup via e-mail.

According to the website, it read: “We are announcing today that after a great deal of thought and discussion, we have decided to separate.

“This is very much a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have made together following a process of long and careful consideration. We ask for respect for our privacy and that of our family, and we do not intend to comment further.”

The couple have four children together.

Any bets on who'll be the first to do a sit-down interview with "Nightline"?

Dennis Hopper dead at 74 after long battle with prostate cancer

Dennis Hopper

Actor Dennis Hopper died Saturday at his Venice home of complications from prostate cancer, a friend of the actor said.

Hopper, whose battle with the disease was revealed in October, was 74.

In addition to his illness, Hopper had made headlines recently in light of the messy divorce proceedings with wife Victoria Duffy; he accused Duffy of stealing $1.5 million worth of his art.

But on this day we forget the scandal.

He gave us photography. He gave us art. He gave us "Easy Rider."

More from the Los Angeles Times obituary:

Easy Rider In a more than five-decade acting career that was influenced early on by working with James Dean and studying at the Actors Studio, he made his film debut as one of the high school gang members who menace Dean in the 1955 classic "Rebel Without a Cause.

Hopper went on to appear in more than 115 films, including "Giant," "Cool Hand Luke," "Hang 'Em High," "True Grit," "Apocalypse Now," "The American Friend," "Rumble Fish," "Speed," "True Romance" and "River's Edge."

But it's his role as the long-haired, pot-smoking biker Billy opposite Peter Fonda's Wyatt (Captain America) in the hit movie "Easy Rider" that gave Hopper his most enduring claim to fame.

The low-budget tale of two bikers on an ultimately tragic cross-country odyssey after scoring a big cocaine sale, "Easy Rider" became a generational touchstone.

The movie, which boasted a star-making performance from a little-known Jack Nicholson as a boozy small-town lawyer who goes along for the ride and gets his first taste of marijuana, set old-guard Hollywood back on its heels.

Earlier this year, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Madonna gets racy in new MDG eyewear ads

While Lindsay Lohan makes pleas on Twitter to get her ankle monitor accessorized by Chanel, Madonna is practically molesting a hot model in her new MDG eyewear line with Dolce & Gabbana. If you’re keeping score, Madonna wins.

In the new ad campaign, done by celeb photographer Steven Klein, her Madgesty sexes it up in red lipstick and oversized shades. So who's the dude the 51-year-old pop icon is seducing? It's Tyson Ballou. You now have permission to leave this page and do your Google search on him.

Will you buy Madonna’s new MDG sunglasses?

Boy band roundup: Backstreet Boys switch labels; Nick Jonas to make West End debut

Backstreet Boys

Pretend it’s 1999 and you might actually care about the next tidbit.

The Backstreet Boys are switching music labels!

Nick Carter and the posse — sans Kevin Richardson — posted a note on their official website titled “Freedom” that reads:

“So the news is out! The Backstreet Boys are no longer signed to long-time record label Jive Records. The amicable split is very exciting for the group. 'This is the best thing, at the best time that could have ever happened for us,' says Brian Littrell. 'We are confident in the future of our band, and are looking forward to the new things to come. 2011 is going to be a great year for us!’ KTBSPA.” (That’s short for ‘Keep the Backstreet Pride Alive,’ for those not familiar with retro boy-band lingo.)

Nick Jonas BSB (hey, we here at Ministry of Gossip know our acronyms!) kick off their concert tour Saturday at Miami’s American Airlines Arena - Waterfront Theatre.

On to teen heartthrobs of present day …

Nick Jonas, right, is scheduled to make his West End theater debut at London’s Queen’s Theatre in "Les Miserables," beginning June 21, his rep confirmed to JustJared.com.

Jonas, 17, will play the role of Marius in a three-week run of the musical. It’s familiar territory for Miley Cyrus’ ex-flame; he appeared as Gavroche in the "Les Miz's" run on Broadway in 2003.

Alicia Keys is pregnant! And engaged!

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys Leave it to Alicia Keys to produce two hits in one beat.

According to People.com, Keys is pregnant! Wait. There’s more! She’s also engaged to rapper Swizz Beatz. Hmm … wonder if she’ll call both of them “My Boo.”

The couple, who have been together since 2008, are expected to wed in a private ceremony later this year, reps confirmed to the magazine.

It will be Keys' first trip down the aisle — and their first child together. Swizz Beatz has two sons from previous relationships.

In addition to Keys, Swizz Beatz (a.k.a. Kasseem Dean) has worked with artists such as Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Gwen Stefani.

Keys is currently on her Freedom Tour in Europe. Pregnancy rumors began swirling when images of Keys rockin' a slight baby bump on stage began to surface. And the poofy white D&G dress she sported at the Keep a Child Alive Black Ball at London’s St. John’s, Smith Square, on Thursday didn’t help.

Forget trying to sleep with a broken heart. Try sleeping with a pregnant belly. Good luck, Alicia!

Porno 'Inferno': new images from Lindsay Lohan's upcoming film

Lohan_inferno_2 Nightclubs. Movie premieres. Ankle monitor fittings. With all the hopping around town (and overseas) she’s doing, you’d  think Lindsay Lohan had a twin sister.

Then again, maybe she’s just good at being in two places at once. Exhibit A: Disney’s “Parent Trap.”

Now she’s causing a stir with the release of a set of sultry movie posters from the coming biopic “Inferno,” in which she’ll play infamous porn star Linda Lovelace (she of 1972’s pornographically acclaimed “Deep Throat.”)

Celeb photographer Tyler Shields took the pictures of a then-brunet Lohan and released them on his site. Ankle monitor not included.

The images come just days after Jonathan Fong of Muse Films, the production company behind "Inferno," defended the actress’ work ethic during her trip to the Cannes International Film Festival.

"Inferno" is expected to begin filming in the fall, allowing ample time for her ankle to get rid of that that pesky SCRAM bracelet tan line.
