Kelly Rowland raises the nipple-slip stakes, scores a double

Kelly Rowland

Kelly Rowland showed deep commitment to the "wardrobe malfunction" concept over the weekend with both of her breasts making a run for the border -- the bottom border of her bondage-style top, that is -- during a Sunday performance at a New Jersey nightclub.

"New Jersey crowd was amazing!! hope you enjoyed the show and didnt mind the peekaboo LOL!!! #kanyeshrug #stuffhappens," the former Destiny's Child singer messaged later on Twitter.

Does anyone really mind a peekaboo, we have to ask? OK, yes, some people do.

At least the scene wasn't nationally televised, as was Nicki Minaj's Friday flash on "Good Morning America" -- though there was some non-scandalous video taken of Rowland's high-energy dance routine.

So, if bad things happen in threes, Nicki's single nip-slip plus Kelly's double-barreled exposure means we're done with this for the time being, right?

Or was it good things that happen in threes?

Probably depends on the audience.

Nicki Minaj nipple slip goes live on 'Good Morning America'

Nicki Minaj has a nipple slip on GMA

Nicki Minaj, a singer known almost equally for her music and her wardrobe, joined the infamous wardrobe malfunction club in Central Park on Friday, with "Good Morning America" cameras broadcasting it live to East Coast viewers.

Talk about a wake-up call -- and a good long one at that, as Minaj overflowed the top of her tight and tiny cropped tank-top, and undergarment, while she was rocking out. Despite having a five-second delay in place, ABC accidentally aired some semi-naked Nicki on the East Coast.

When the surprised singer noticed too much skin showing, she pulled her shirt up and continued her set. The network, in a statement, later apologized for "certain fleeting images" that were edited out of the performance in other time zones. Those would be the ones that usually get cheated out of "certain fleeting images." Not fair!

Minaj performed on GMA as part of the show's summer concert series.

Shania Twain falls, Sheryl Crow flashes panties at CMT awards

Shania Twain and Sheryl Crow both goofed at the CMT Music Awards This post has been corrected. See the note below for details.

Shania Twain fell Wednesday night at the CMT Music Awards, stumbling into the same snafu spotlight Sheryl Crow stepped into earlier when she showed off more than she'd planned while performing with Kid Rock.

But both ladies recovered nicely from their respective schadenfreude moments in Nashville.

Shania Twain

Crow wore a short white skirt that gave her minimal coverage while sitting atop a stool during her performance of "Collide." But when the singer moved on to the dancing portion of the duet, her underwear stole the spotlight.

"People all over America are tweeting that I was wearing a really short skirt when I sang with Kid Rock and that when I got up off the stool, I showed my underwear," she said later in the show while presenting an award with Sara Evans

"Well, at least you were wearing underwear," Evans said.

"'Cause I am good, clean family entertainment," the 49-year-old quipped back.

But Crow wasn't the only one with issues. Twain seemingly forgot how to use her feet when walking out to present the award for best male performance. Watch the clip below.

However, the 45-year-old "I Feel Like a Woman" singer, who recently landed a two-year solo residency at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, took the tumble in stride. In a video posted on her site, she assured fans that she wasn't hurt "making a complete fool" of herself.

"I don't need a stunt double because I do my own stunts," she said.

Touche, ladies. Click the pic for more photos from the CMT Music Awards.

For the record, 12:15 p.m. June 9: An earlier version of this post said Sheryl Crow was 45; in fact, she is 49. Thanks to commenter Dave Bruce for pointing out our snafu.

Khloe Kardashian 'loves' her six-minute, televised nipple slip

Khloe Kardashian exposes nipple on 'Fox and Friends'

Khloe Kardashian had a serious wardrobe malfunction -- a nipple slip to be exact -- on national television Tuesday morning during an appearance with sister Kourtney Kardashian on Fox News Channel's "Fox and Friends."

While promoting the upcoming season of their reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Khloe, a.k.a. Mrs. Lamar Odom, went braless in a sheer black blouse with strategically placed opaque panels. As the interview went on, however, her right breast went rogue, slipping out from behind the thicker fabric and making an appearance of its own through the sheer fabric -- for a full six minutes. Without anyone involved noticing except lots of the folks watching at home on TV.

Talk about now you see it, now you -- well, now you still see it.

The fashionista had been concealing the region with her long hair, but seemed to forget to keep the area in check throughout the show. Later, a Twitter follower alerted the youngest Kardashian sister of the nip-slip, to which she replied "Thank God! I ... love nipples!!!!"

We're sure Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake did too, just as much as CBS loved that $550,000 fine the FCC slapped on the network after the notorious "wardrobe malfunction" Super Bowl halftime show in 2004. But, hey, this is cable, no? We'll see how this plays out for Fox News, which already slipped up Monday by mistakenly using a photo of Tina Fey to illustrate a story about Sarah Palin.

Anyway, the Kardashian sisters moved on to "Live! With Regis and Kelly," where 79-year-old Regis Philbin was taken by the scantily clad Khloe.

"All he's trying to do is not look," cohost Kelly Ripa said.

The sisters gave him permission to check her out and Khloe even went over and did a little shimmy for Philbin, who's leaving the program in the near future.

When asked if he was confused, he answered, "Confused? No, I'm amused -- and very happy about it!"

Khloe, whose abundant presence in E! reality series documents her home and professional life (with and without clothes), didn't seem too remorseful about the incident.

"My mom just called me saying my nip slip is 'all over the internet!' Ha! Is it weird that I love it?! Who knew nipples were so special?" she tweeted.

Indeed.

Beyonce is booed, carried up stairs at Met Gala; Michelle Obama does the dougie

Met Gala: Beyonce gets stuck in dress

Beyonce lifted upstairs at Met GalaBeyoncé got a bit carried away at Monday's Costume Institute Gala Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The singer's dress was so tight, she had to be carried up the red staircase by husband Jay-Z and a friend.

The "Girls (Who Run the World)" singer wowed on the red carpet in a black and gold-trimmed mermaid-cut Emilio Pucci gown. She posed for several photos at the "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" event but skipped media interviews and got booed in the process.

But don't forget karma, Beyoncé. When it was time to go up the stairs to the museum, lifting her knees proved a challenge.

Enter her knight in a shining Tom Ford dinner jacket: Jay-Z. He and a handler had to scaffold her as she took baby steps up the stairs to get into the event.

Ah, relief. They don't call her Queen B for no reason.

In other Beyoncé news, Michelle Obama is a self-proclaimed fan. At a Let's Move event in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday the first lady busted a few moves to Beyoncé's "Get Me Bodied" at Alice Deal Middle School. Watch the clip below.

"Beyoncé' is one of my favorite performers on the planet,"  Obama said. "And when she agreed to remake her video and do this Let's Move! Flash Workout, I was so excited because this is what we've been talking about -- that exercise and moving can be fun."

Hmmm. Tell that to Beyoncé's rigid dress?

Eva Longoria has a wardrobe malfunction on 'Letterman' [Video]

When Eva Longoria stopped by David Letterman's couch in a micro-tuxedo to talk about her new cookbook, the "Desperate Housewives" actress gave the host a bit more than he bargained for — a wardrobe malfunction, to be exact.

"I wore a tuxedo for you," Longoria said when she arrived onstage.

"Or part of one," Letterman quipped back.

Then the button on her teeny-tiny jacket gave way, prompting Letterman to say, "We're going to lose our liquor license, I know it." (Watch the malfunction above.)

Among the things they discussed: soapy cilantro, okra and Oprah.

Eva Longoria Parker promotes her cookbook 'Eva's Kitchen'Longoria, 36, has been promoting her cookbook, "Eva's Kitchen." She said the book, coupled with cooking, helped her get through her ugly divorce from Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs.

The actress, a longtime foodie, turned to the kitchen and helping out friends post-divorce. Since February, she's been linked to Eduardo Cruz, Penelope Cruz's little bro, but has been reluctant to get into the dating scene.

"I'm really domestic, so I had a really strong identity in being a wife," Longoria told Rachael Ray. "Finding myself again outside of somebody else has been not even challenging — it's been fun. It's been like, here we go!"

The complete opposite of her character Gabrielle Solis, no?

The "Beso" restaurateur said she wants to have a family, but in the meantime she's taken in two live-in friends at her house.

"I'm like the mother hen for a sorority house. It's all women, all the time. So, we're always cooking! I love it!"

Longoria, who married the basketball player in  an extravagant "7-7-07" ceremony, said the divorce, which was just as public, made it more difficult.

"It was hard," she said in promos for Thursday's episode of "Piers Morgan Tonight." "It was devastating to go through on its own, much less publicly."

Maybe it's a good thing her button popped off — to distract people from less pleasant issues?

Black Eyed Peas' Super Bowl halftime show promises a party vibe minus the malfunctions

Black Eyed Peas Super Bowl halftime show When she takes the stage with the Black Eyed Peas for the Super Bowl XLV halftime show this Sunday, Fergie will be the first female to perform there since Janet Jackson had her infamous "wardrobe malfunction" with Justin Timberlake.

"It is a challenge because you want to give a little sex appeal but you don't want to get into any trouble," Fergie said Thursday at a Super Bowl press conference in Dallas.

Jackson's 2004 nipple debacle earned CBS a $550,000 fine from the FCC. This year's Super Bowl is being broadcast on Fox.

"We're very particular about the wardrobe," Fergie asserted. "There will be no more malfunctions."

But last we checked, performers don't usually plan for their clothes to go haywire, right? Fighting words, Fergie-Ferg.

Mrs. Josh Duhamel, who revealed that she's also a minority owner of the Miami Dolphins, said the group plans to perform "sports anthem type songs" that make people want to party.

"We're taking football places where it is not part of their culture, but this is part of our culture and I am so proud," Will.I.Am said about performing on the "unofficial American holiday."

Miranda Kerr is saving the global economy, one banker at a time

GQ-kerr-web "It was a huge deal," Miranda Kerr says, most likely twirling her hair or sprinkling glitter onto her Victoria's Secret wings.

She's not referring to wardrobe malfunctions or flights canceled thanks to a certain volcano -- Kerr is talking about her racy photographs almost getting a banker fired from his job.

"I wasn't offended. I just felt sorry for the poor guy," she tells GQ magazine, for which she serves as June cover girl.

Aussie David Kiely was the unassuming man who, during a live TV spot, was caught ogling a Kerr spread. After the model threw her weight (however low that number) behind him, his employment was saved and her fate as office pinup sealed.

"I wonder if he'll get into trouble if we send him this cover," she pondered with the mag.

"We should send him a signed cover! He can read the magazine at home instead of at work on the Internet."

And now she's bringing families together.
