Lady Gaga finally has a penis -- thanks to Jo Calderone [Poll]

Britney Spears and a penis-packing Jo Calderone

Lady Gaga reportedly wore a prosthetic penis to the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, making her Jo Calderone alter ego portrayal seem that much more, um, real.

The dish comes courtesy of an anonymous insider speaking to Us Magazine, and we're simply not going to question it, given the epic nature and societal significance of the revelation.

Another delicious detail? The "drag king" packed that package in Armani underwear, Us said.

Word of the penis no doubt comes as good news to those in the "Lady Gaga is a hermaphrodite" camp, circa 2008. No chorus of "We told you so," please -- it's just as fake as it ever was.

So, did Jo pick up his equipment in the "Entourage" prop room? According to Show Tracker, Vince's fake junk was notably smaller than the Mark Wahlberg falsie available on the "Boogie Nights" set.

VMA parties: Britney Spears, Jason Trawick chill; Adele goes gay

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards
After a dizzying 2011 MTV Video Music Awards telecast, music stars and celebs kept their after-partying low key in Los Angeles.

Pop video winner Britney Spears stepped out with boyfriend Jason Trawick, hitting up Esquire magazine and House of Hype's after party at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. Camped out at a table, Spears stuck close to her man and two female pals.

Only a few seats away and both in good spirits, Katy Perry and Russell Brand celebrated her score in the video of the year category. "Glee" guy Mark Salling held court between the superstars, welcoming Chord Overstreet and Emma Roberts to his table, in addition to Sam Trammel and Evan Ross of "True Blood."

Other revelers included Malin Akerman, Elise Neal, Flo Rida, Rose McGowan, Kelly Rowland, "The Nail Files" star Katie Cazorla and Sasha Grey, who got a shout-out on HBO as well Sunday as one of "Entourage" character Vincent Chase's ex-girlfriends.

Up the hill from the SLS, crossover sensation Adele bucked tradition and avoided the party circuit. The "Rolling in the Deep" singer went with friends to mainstay gay bar the Abbey -- one of Elizabeth Taylor's fave joints -- sipping Oxley gin and tonics and dancing into the night.

In Hollywood, some hip-hop heavyweights celebrated G.O.O.D. Music's new artist Big Sean. A private dinner and cocktail party was held at the Redbury hotel's library and outdoor patio, drawing Kanye West, Swizz Beatz and Estelle for chow and Grey Goose drinks.

Pregnant Beyonce flaunts baby bump, Jay-Z jumps for joy [Video]

Beyonce is pregnant

Beyonce's red-carpet baby bump tipped off the world to her pregnancy -- but her performance at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards let her shout her joy from the rooftops Sunday night.

Clad in a sparkly Dolce & Gabanna tuxedo jacket with elastic-waist suit pants (let the fabulous maternity wear begin), she asked the audience to "celebrate the love that's growing inside of me" and then belted a new track, "Love on Top."

After her crooning, Beyonce unveiled her baby-on-board to the world by tossing her microphone, popping open her jacket and rubbing the bun in the oven that's bound for her and Jay-Z's household.

"I have known for quite a while," Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland told People on Sunday night, "and she's happy, and Jay is happy, and that's all that counts."

Speaking of Papa Jay, he and pal Kanye West lost their minds over the revelation, jumping for joy in the audience as Beyonce accepted audience adoration. Check it out, below.

Nicki Minaj tunes in Tokyo with her MTV VMAs ensemble

Nicky Minaj dress channels Harajuku, Tokyo street style

Nicky Minaj didn't disappoint with the dress -- and the whole lot more -- that she wore to the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.

"Tokyo inspires this outfit," the winner for hip-hop video said backstage Sunday. "You know, Harajuku is something I have been absorbing for a very long time."

(Harajuku is, of course, Tokyo street style, in case anyone was wondering if the term was Japanese for "Dr. Seuss.")

Watch the video to see who's responsible for various facets of the ensemble and also to hear about Roman, who Minaj says is "the boy who lives inside of me, he's a lunatic and he's gay," and he's going to be big on her next album.

Lady Gaga drags Jo Calderone backstage at the MTV VMAs [Updated]

Lady Gaga as Joe Calderone at the MTV VMAs

Lady Gaga befuddled audiences when she showed up at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday dressed as a character she called "Jo Calderone."

Gaga appeared in drag as her alter ego — a guy with a greaser hairstyle and a sort of New Jersey accent — throughout the telecast. Backstage after the show, reporters anticipated the arrival of the pop star, eager to get to the bottom of the bizarre stunt.

But Gaga, who deigned to answer questions from only four outlets she had pre-selected, was still in character.

[Updated, 9:40 a.m., Aug. 30: See the profanity-riddled interview here, but be warned: Calderone has a very dirty mouth.]

Asked if she was able to express herself more fully as Calderone than as Gaga, she/he replied: "I don't understand the question." (Apparently, Gaga is Method.)

Still, the reporter pressed on, trying to get the singer to open up about the weird act.

"Well, she's just really [angry] at me right now," Calderone explained, his speech peppered with quite a variety of colorful expletives. "And she said ... 'If you really love me, you'll go instead of me and you'll get in that spotlight.' So I did."

Oh, we totally get it now!

Calderone went on to describe himself as Jersey-bred Average Joe: "My family's from Palermo, Sicily. And I'm not a singer or a model or actor or anything, I'm just a guy."

And how much longer can the public expect to see Gaga as Calderone?

"I'm gonna be here about five more minutes."

And that was the best news we received all night.

Rebecca Black ran toward 'stuff' like VMAs, not away from bullies [Video]

Rebecca Black at the MTV Video Music Awards

It seems like just yesterday that Rebecca Black's "Friday" video went viral, causing music lovers everywhere to declare the imminent death of modern pop. But at the MTV Video Music Awards a few months later, it seemed Black was having the last laugh.

She recently appeared in Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night" video, and even showed up in a skit during the VMAs. Dressed in a dinosaur costume, no less.

When Black found out she was invited to participate in the show, she got that "warm feeling that, 'Oh my gosh, this is what came out of my little 'Friday' song,'" the 14-year-old told us on the black carpet. (See the video below.)

And as for recent headlines saying she dropped out of school due to bullying, Black said she made the move for more practical career reasons.

"Really, the main reason I left was it's hard to be at school, you know? I'm now doing stuff like going to the VMAs. So you can't always actually physically be there," she explained.

Meanwhile, Black is busy trying to prove she's not just a one-hit wonder. Her debut album will be released around Halloween, she said, and it will have "a bunch of different kinds of stuff."

"Tuesday," perhaps? With a dash of "Thursday at dusk"? We can dream.

Taylor Lautner relives 'best kiss' kiss from Robert Pattinson

Taylor Lautner at the MTV Video Music Awards

Taylor Lautner showed his dimples at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, but talked more about his lips -- specifically, an award-show moment in May when Robert Pattinson planted a big, old kiss on them.

At the MTV Movie Awards in June, Lautner's "Twilight: Eclipse" costars Pattinson and Kristen Stewart snagged the trophy for best kiss, and during their acceptance speech Rob dashed into the audience and lip-locked Taylor.

"Oh, I was definitely kissed by [Rob]," Lautner told MTV News. "It was quite a shocker."

We hear you, Taylor: You did nothing to warrant the smooch, but Rob definitely threw down the gauntlet. Can the "Abduction" star steal his back thunder back by one-upping Pattinson?

"I honestly have no idea," Lautner said. "I guess we'll just have to wait and see."

Beyonce is pregnant! Baby bump revealed at MTV VMAs

Beyonce is pregnant! Beyonce is pregnant! The singer and actress caused a frenzy Sunday as she walked the black carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards revealing a definite baby bump.

Beyonce, married to Jay-Z since 2008, has been cagey about her family planning, but now there's no doubt: The music industry's future golden child was definitely protuding under B's frock.

The "End Of Time" singer gave no interviews, but there was no hiding her sister Solange's excitement as she tweeted major smiley faces and exclamation points.

It almost seems like this bump sprung from nowhere — almost.

Beyonce has managed to promote her latest record, "4," without raising any eyebrows, but a recent performance perhaps suggested she could no longer fit into her revealing trademark rompers.

A concert at New York's Roseland Ballroom on Aug. 15 saw her in a loose silver gown, playing up her cleavage while leaving plenty of flouncy fabric over her midsection.

Cat's out of the bag now!

MTV VMAs: Lady Gaga dines, Shia LaBeouf sees 'Red'

MTV VMA parties: Shia LaBeouf spotted

Lady Gaga and other musical heavyweights have been lighting up Los Angeles this weekend at pre-parties for Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards.

Lady Gaga hosted a private dinner Friday at the Beverly in West Hollywood, welcoming Mary J. Blige, rapper Nas and "The X Factor" host Nicole Scherzinger.

The performer greeted her guests in a massive diamond bib, plunging red jumpsuit, beehive and sunglasses. The dinner was prepared by chef Ken Lee, and Ciroc offered a  Berry Bad Romance house cocktail to lubricate the evening.

Across town in Hollywood, Cafe Entourage played host to a party in honor of Drake. Joe Jonas made the ladies swoon, as did Jake Pavelka, Spencer Falls and Joe Slaughter.

Gaga's go-to choreographer, Laurie Ann Gibson, circulated among singers Kimberley Locke and Kristine Elezaj, while guests sampled XBox's latest, Just Dance 2 and Gears of War 3. As the evening progressed, folks headed a few blocks away to the Box, a pop-up of the New York City nightlife venue.

A scruffy Shia LaBeouf and his girlfriend, Karolyn Pho, came to party within the Paul & André space, in celebration of Project Red's collaboration with Belvedere vodka. Chelsea Handler, Jon Hamm, Marilyn Manson and Alessandra Ambrosio also attended.

On Saturday, Demi Lovato performed at Perez Hilton's One Night in Los Angeles concert, hosted by Carrera. Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick enjoyed date night at the Wiltern show while Gavin DeGraw seemed in good spirits backstage, despite his recent beating in New York City.

Lady Gaga does a striptease to promote her upcoming VMA gig

Lady Gaga is taking it off for the VMAs

Lady Gaga is known for her high-concept get-ups, but a new promo for MTV's 2011 Video Music Awards is really about what the singer ain't wearing.

Several stark black-and-white spots hit the airwaves this week featuring Gaga at her piano, belting out her latest single, "You and I."

A fever gets ahold of our Lady, however, prompting her to yank off of her bra and bare her teeth. Looks like one heck of a performance is on tap?

"Sometimes I'm really happy when I write music; sometimes I'm really angry," she waxes at one point in the spot below. "Sometimes I'm really drunk, or sometimes I'm super-sober."

The Ministry would certainly need a few cocktails before embarking upon a piano striptease. Gaga will perform live on the VMAs on Aug. 28.
