Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2011 cover model is Irina Shayk

The cover of the Sports Illustrated 2011 Swimsuit edition was revealed Monday night on "Late Night With David Letterman" -- and the star of this year's mag is one Irina Shayk.

Sports Illustrated 2011 Swimsuit cover Letterman's list, the "Top 10 Good Things About Appearing in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition," was delivered by 10 models featured in the sports mag's annual skin fest -- and Shayk caught our attention early with her Boris-and-Natasha delivery of No. 6: "When police officer ask me for ID, I say, 'Check Page 47.' "

Moments later, the 25-year-old model seemed a bit shy and surprised as her bodacious, swimsuit-clad body was revealed to all on a massive billboard at the corner of Broadway and 52nd Street in New York. She follows in the bikini strings of last year's cover girl, Brooklyn Decker. And yes, she found out during the taping that she got the cover.

Some more of our fave lines from the list:

Genevieve Morton: "All the body paint I can eat."

Julie Henderson: "Appearing on popular television shows ... and this one."

Alyssa Miller: "On tax form under occupation, I can write 'Hot.' "

There was also a Charlie Sheen joke in there, but please, Dave, these ladies are models, not, um, "actresses."

If your employer is cool with you peeping at scantily clad ladies during work hours, follow this link to pics of the lovely Ms. Shayk. We clicked to No. 16 before getting a little booty shot, so use your own judgment. And no, you can't have this job.

Ivanka Trump tells the world she's pregnant ... on Twitter

Ivanka Trump is pregnant Ivanka Trump, daughter of Donald Trump and co-host of "The Apprentice," announced Friday that she is pregnant.

"I have been wanting to share some amazing news with you all some time ... I'm pregnant! Jared and I couldn't be more excited," she said on Twitter.

The 29-year-old got hitched to New York Observer owner Jared Kushner, 30, in October 2009.

Trump, the heiress-turned-entrepreneur, told OK! that her brother Donald Trump Jr.'s kids were the newlyweds' inspiration to start a family.

"My brother is over-the-moon, and he's an amazing father. And his wife is an incredible mother to their two beautiful children," she said in an interview with the mag. "It’s very encouraging to see such a happy, beautiful family, and I hope to have one of my own one day."

We can't wait to see more little Trump-ettes running around solely to hear their imitation of grandpa's "You're fired."

And we genuinely hope that the former model's frame will be able to handle both the Trump-ette and her 5.22-carat Trump diamond ring.

Beyonce plays runway queen for Tom Ford [video]

When Beyonce strutted her stuff in a highly anticipated, top-secret fashion show for returning womenswear visionary Tom Ford — yeah, we were excited.

Beyonce models for Tom Ford runway show But now there's video. And not just tripod footage — it's a dizzying clip of fast cuts and fabulousness that reminds us of being, like, 10 years old and watching the Style Network's "Fashiontrance" (which was basically runway shows on loop set to disturbing and aggressive house beats).

The vid features Mrs. Jay-Z in the flesh, walking for the likes of Vogue editor Anna Wintour while Terry Richardson snaps furiously with his camera.

It also features cameos from Lauren Hutton in a smart white pantsuit, Julianne Moore working a Snooki-proportioned bump and eccentric Daphne Guinness doing ... her thing.

Check out the clip and leave your thoughts in comments.

John Mellencamp, wife Elaine Irwin Mellencamp call it quits

Elaine Irwin Mellencamp and John Mellencamp are splitting after 18 years of marriage John Mellencamp and his wife, Elaine Irwin Mellencamp, are splitting up after 18 years of marriage, their rep says.

The Mellencamps "are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family," said publicist Bob Merlis, who declined to say Thursday whether the two had filed for divorce yet.

The Indiana rocker, 59, and the Almay cosmetics model, 41 -- who met in 1991, got engaged after dating for 10 weeks and married in 1992 -- have two teenage sons together. Elaine is the "Pink Houses" singer's third wife. He has three other children from the two other marriages.

They first crossed paths at work, according to the Hollywood Reporter -- she was booked to appear on the cover of his album "Whenever We Wanted."

Isabelle Caro, anorexic model, brought Jessica Simpson to tears

Isabelle Caro, the model whose death after a long struggle with anorexia was made public Wednesday, brought Jessica Simpson to tears on "The Price of Beauty" earlier this year.

Caro's longtime acting instructor, Daniele Dubreuil-Prevot, said she did not know the cause of death but that Caro "had been sick for a long time," referring to the actress-model's anorexia.

Caro was the focus of a 2007 shock ad campaign in print and on billboards during Fashion Week in Italy that showed her naked, vertebrae and facial bones protruding (see photo below), under the headline "No Anorexia." She said later that she weighed 59 pounds when the shots were taken. She said on "The Price of Beauty" that she was 86 pounds when a designer pressured her to lose weight to model.

"To us, what you're doing right now makes you one of the most beautiful people that we have ever seen," Simpson told a nearly skeletal Caro, referring to her anorexia-awareness work. "And we really just appreciate you sitting in front of us and having such powerful words. God bless you."

Simpson, who has been badgered about her weight, especially during the infamous "mom jeans" period in early 2009, closed the segment with an observation:

"I think it's important for women to know that the skinnier you are," she said, "doesn't make you more beautiful."

On the most recent cycle of "America's Next Top Model," the first girl Tyra Banks and company sent home, Anamaria Mirdita, was dinged in part for her scrawny body, which Banks said did not look healthy. Ann Ward, apparently naturally thin at 18 years old and 6 feet 2, drew some criticism related to her weight as well, after her "ANTM" win.

Caro died Nov. 17, at age 28, after returning to France from a job in Tokyo. Read her obituary here. For more on anorexia, check out Booster Shots' post on the model's battle with the eating disorder.

Heidi Klum towers over her Halloween costume party

Heidi Klum and Seal in Halloween party costumes 2010 And what are you dressed as, not-so-little girl? Heidi Klum delivered her usual bell-ringing Halloween costume treat in New York on Sunday, showing up in a red-and-purple Transformers-inspired get-up and towering on stilts over shiny silver husband Seal.

The "Project Runway" host's recent costumes have included a cat, the snake (and apple) from the Garden of Eden, an Indian goddess and last year's crow.

While rocking a great recycling idea for old ski boots, and channeling Tyra Banks' forehead, Klum was joined by famous friends,

Heidi Klum costume party pictures including Miss Universe Jimena Navarette, designer Christian Siriano, mad doctor Ice-T and very naughty nurse Coco, and Kim Kardashian -- hey, have we seen that dress before, Little Red Riding Hood?

Click the photo of Kardashian, above, to launch a gallery of pictures from the Halloween party.

Funny, we thought Klum said she and Seal were going to simplify their costumes this year? Suppose it's all relative. Is it just us, or are those tiny, front-loading washing machines on Heidi's you-knows?

The party, held at Lavo, is in its 11th year.

When models attack: Jessica White edition, featuring Sean Penn

Model Jessica White, Sean Penn's ex girlfriend There's a thin line between the Paris couture shows and the pokey — just ask model Jessica White.

The Sports Illustrated gal, who just ended a fling with actor Sean Penn, was arrested in New York City over the weekend after an alleged altercation with a female partier. White has been accused of smacking Vanessa Kian and pulling her hair, Page Six reports.

The women are said to have squabbled over a taxi. White's attorney, Mark Jay Heller, insists the entire situation has been overblown.

Heller says White was "celebrating her newfound single status with the girls" and nothing more, adding that "stories concerning celebrities frequently get blown up," and the charges have no merit.

White has a date with a judge on Dec. 15. Do you think she deserves the clink, or do the charges stink? Tell us in the comments section below.

PREACH IT! Naomi Campbell strikes again -- literally

Tyra Banks sued by mother of self-proclaimed teen sex addict

Tyra Banks at the Vogue anniversary "Are you obsessed with sex," asked "The Tyra Banks Show" website, "and unable to control your sexual impulses? If so share your story and maybe we can help."

But if the person who answers that call is underage, things get a bit more complicated.

The mother of a teenage girl who appeared as a self-described sex addict on "The Tyra Banks Show" has sued host Tyra Banks, Warner Bros. Entertainment and the executive producers of the show, alleging they flew the girl to New York and put her on TV without parental consent or the proper work papers from the state of Georgia.

Jewel Ciera Washington was 15 when she appeared on "The Tyra Show" late in 2009 after allegedly responding to a solicitation for "sex addicts" to appear as guests on the now-defunct program. According to Beverly McClendon's $3-million federal lawsuit, producers reached Jewel directly and did not get parental permission before flying her out to New York, putting her up alone in a hotel and paying her to tape the segment, in which the she talked about losing her virginity at age 9, hooking up via phone chat lines, getting pregnant three times and having sex with more than 20 guys, one of them a 37-year-old when she was 13.

McClendon, who filed suit Thursday, is seeking an injunction against further distribution of Jewel's segment, as well as compensatory and punitive damages. Warner Bros. had no comment Tuesday morning to Reuters or the Associated Press.

During the segment, Dr. Drew Pinsky observed about Jewel, "She is parentalized, she looks 25, she seems very competent and to hear her say something like 'I have no purpose' really strikes me as incongrous with what I'm sure your life is like, which is, you take care of a lot of people. They need you."

'Australia's Next Top Model': Proving a gal can take it like a man (or better)

When Sarah Murdoch, the supermodel host of "Australia's Next Top Model," announced the wrong name as winner, the two finalists demonstrated that, this week at least, good sports are more likely to be wearing stiletto heels than dance shoes.

Amanda Ware graciously thanked the judges and others after hearing rival Kelsey Martinovich named winner of the Aussie version of "America's Next Top Model" on Tuesday night. Then when the mistake was discovered -- think the giant magazine cover that showed up with Amanda splashed on it was any clue? -- she thanked them again. Then Martinovich, who'd already given an acceptance speech, went out of her way to console Murdoch, who appeared horrified by what had happened.

How many votes out there to get both of these ladies in the next cast of "Dancing With the Stars"? At least they'd likely look better than Michael Bolton if they had to crawl out of a doghouse.

PREACH IT! Unless you’re Gisele Bundchen. In that case, seriously, muzzle it.

Gisele-bundchen-and-designe Another interview, another chance for supermodel Gisele Bundchen to stick her superfoot into her designer supermouth.

First came the declaration that “a lot” of women "get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals." (She's a model,” one commenter noted. "Just because us regular moms took nine months to a year to lose the baby fat doesn't mean we were sitting on the couch stuffing junk food in our face.")

Now, in a new interview with Harper's Bazaar UK, Bundchen tackled the medical nuances of breastfeeding. How? By saying that every mom should be required to do it by "worldwide law."

"I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months," she intoned.

Right. Because every mom who gives her 5-month-old formula -- or "chemicals," as Bundchen so neatly put it -- is just a selfish creature. A lazy selfish creature who probably waddles about in size 6 jeans from the Gap while remaining shamefully ignorant on Versace’s color palette for the spring.

Real mothers in the real world, naturally, jumped on Bundchen’s declaration.

"I find her comments in this interview to be quite ignorant and insensitive," one woman commented ...
