Jesse James claims he lost himself married to Sandra Bullock

Jesse James says he 'lost himself' married to Sandra Bullock
Jesse James is claiming he lost himself in his years spent married to Sandra Bullock, the comedy sweetheart he humiliated publicly with numerous affairs.

The mechanic returned to reality TV on Monday night with Discovery channel's auto-centric "American Chopper: The Build-Off," and mentioned the implosion of his personal life, sparking in 2010.

"I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn’t talk to anybody anymore, so I feel bad," he said in a testimonial, "...I feel obligated to reconnect with all these people and show 'em that I'm still the same fabricator motorcycle guy. I'm not what I became."

And what became of Jesse? In 2010, Bullock cleaned up in award trophies for her turn in "The Blind Side," only to cap a lead actress Oscar win with the discovery of infidelities on James' part — led by the charming Michelle "Bombshell" McGee.

Bullock and James divorced almost immediately. A messy courtship with tattoo artist Kat Von D followed for James, though that suffered accusations of infidelity too.

Roger Ebert apologizes for 'Jackass' blast after Ryan Dunn's death

Roger Ebert fuels social media storm over 'Jackass' star Ryan Dunn's death

Roger Ebert enraged many in the blogosphere with a tweet Monday implying that "Jackass" star Ryan Dunn was drinking and driving when he got into a fatal car accident -- and on Tuesday, the film critic apologized.

"I offer my sympathy to Ryan Dunn's family and friends, and to those of Zachary Hartwell, who also died in the crash," Ebert said on his Chicago Sun-Times blog, in a column dedicated to Dunn that includes raw remarks from Bam Margera, the daredevil's longtime costar and friend. "I mean that sincerely. It is tragic to lose a loved one. I also regret that my tweet about the event was considered cruel. It was not intended as cruel. It was intended as true."

Ebert stood by what he wrote but conceded that he "was probably too quick to tweet. That was unseemly." (Beware: The linked item includes Margera's profane tweets.)

Soon after news of Dunn's death broke Monday, the film critic had critiqued the incident, writing on his Facebook and Twitter pages, "Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive."

Though Ebert said he sent the tweet without knowing if alcohol was involved, reports Monday indicated that 34-year-old TV daredevil Dunn and a friend -- who has been identified as production assistant Zachary Hartwell, 30 -- had been drinking at a Pennsylvania bar prior to the accident that left both men dead. The "Jackass" star lost control of his Porsche before it went over a guardrail and was engulfed in flames in the woods.

Hateful backlash from the loyal "Jackass" fans, the blogosphere and Dunn's friends ensued over what was deemed an "insensitive" tweet.

"I just lost my best friend, I have been crying hysterically for a full day and ... roger ebert has the gall to put in his 2 cents ... About a jackass drunk driving  ... Millions of people are crying right now, shut your fat ... mouth!," Margera said in a series of tweets.

"Mr. Ebert, your comments yesterday showed a true lack of tact and your inability to relate with the human race," one commenter wrote on Ebert's Facebook page. "I cannot believe you would, within 24 hours of the incident and before an autopsy, make such a deep and hurtful remark."

"Roger Ebert, your nothing but a lowlife, classless S.O.B. for your comments about Ryan Dunn," another commenter wrote. "Yeah he had some drinks and then drove. Not the best thing to do. But to make comments about it the way that you did, was wrong, low class, and ill advised. You should just shut up and retire and stay out of sight."

"Your page has now become a farce. It used to be about movies, now it's about your tweet[s]," added another.

"Facebook has removed my page in response, apparently, to malicious complaints from one or two jerks," Ebert tweeted after the website temporarily deactivated his account Tuesday. "Facebook! My page is harmless and an asset to you. Why did you remove it in response to anonymous jerks? Makes you look bad."

A rep for the social networking site said that the disciplinary action was an error. The account was deactivated for an hour.

Though Ebert stood by his words Monday and tweeted that people agreed with his earlier statement -- "Perez Hilton's readers agree with me and not with Perez about my tweet on Ryan Dunn. He drank, he drove, 2 people died," the film critic wrote -- he amended his statement soon after his Facebook page was restored.

"I wasn't calling Ryan Dunn a jackass. In Twitter shorthand, I was referring to his association with "Jackass." I thought that was clear. I note that Bam Margera uses the word 'jackass' in the same way in his tweet."

Was Ebert's reaction insensitive or spot-on? Tell us in comments.

Eminem adds Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber to his diss list with 'A Kiss'

Eminem disses Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber with 'A Kiss'

Eminem is back to dissing his peers, with Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber landing as his newest targets in the single "A Kiss."

The rapper and Royce da 5'9" constitute the duo Bad Meets Evil, which has an EP coming out next week. The brisk staccato in the song resurfaces rumors that Mother Monster is a hermaphrodite and equates the Biebs to a Satanic behemoth.

Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber dissed by Eminem "Tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office / She's still a male lady," he raps, adding a more concise (and explicit) description regarding her rumored male parts. But he's about a year too late, it's been a while since people have accused the fashion icon of being a dude.

As for the ever-present Bieber, apparently Eminem thinks the Canadian pop star and Billboard Music Award recipient who tied with him for six awards this year has been forsaken by God.

"Him don't give a damn about Bieber, do Him? / What a demon, a behemoth, evil just seems to be seeping through him," he raps.

This coming from a man whose collaborative album is titled "Hell: The Sequel." If you're prepared for brusque lyrics and an onslaught of cussing, listen to "A Kiss" here.

It's no secret that the "8 Mile" star has built his Grammy-lined career with shock value and explicit libretto. Perhaps he's just saying if it ain't broke don't fix it? Other celebrities initiated into the "Dissed By Eminem Club" include Moby, Christopher Reeve, the Insane Clown Posse, 'N SYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick, Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Elton John, Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, Ja Rule and Michael Jackson.

But "A Kiss" isn't all disses, at least not for Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj, whom the duo seem to have an affinity for.

"Aw hell Shady, he'll tell it like it is / So Katy Perry he's on her tail / He's tailgating," Eminem raps about the "Teenage Dream" singer.

As for Nicki, well, her last name sounds like ménage, doesn't it?

Are Gaga and the Biebs are worthy of Eminen's disses, or is Mr. Mathers just being a bully? Tell us in comments.

'Jersey Shore's' Ronnie and The Situation reportedly brawl in Italy

Ronnie and Situation fight
"Jersey Shore's" Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino got into an all-out fistfight in Italy, according a report.

Though the cause of the Monday night brawl is unclear, it may have been sparked by a fight between Ronnie's on-again, off-again girlfriend Sammie Giancola, TMZ reported. All that Ron-Ron Juice must have gotten him amped because Sitch got pummeled quite a bit. We imagine their cameramen got it all on tape.

Jersey Shore cast in Italy Ronnie's knuckles were cut and bleeding and Sitch's eye was surrounded by red marks poorly concealed by a hoodie, the site reported. The two arrived separately at their apartment hours after the brawl. See the photos here.

The Situation has earned a reputation as "The Snitchuation" on the show because of his frequent tattletale tactics and instigating innuendos. Some "Shore" fans have probably been waiting for this moment for a while, but we're not sure if that warrants a beating.

The cast is shooting the fourth season of the hard-partying MTV reality show in their ancestral land, filming the series in Florence, Italy's Renaissance City. And Ronnie and Sitch aren't the only ones wreaking havoc in the old country.

Deena Cortese, the self-proclaimed "blast in a glass," was spotted plunging into Florence's Arno river after climbing a ledge, and the cast has incited a crosstown pizza battle, according to the New York Post. Florence's Mayor Matteo Renzi has barred the meatball-lovers from filming in bars, clubs and drinking in public. They also can't film at historic landmarks like the Uffizi Gallery and Boboli Gardens.

It remains to be seen how that will affect the next season.

Do you think "The Situation" deserved his beating? How do you think the next season of "Jersey Shore" will compare to previous seasons? Tell us in comments.

Justin Bieber fires back at Marg Helgenberger for 'brat' comment; smooches Selena Gomez

Marg Helgenberger and Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber
has yet to make a Belieber out of Marg Helgenberger, the "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" actress who said the Biebs was a "brat" when he guest starred on the CBS show.

Helgenberger, who plays investigator Catherine Willows on the series, recently dished to the radio station Europe 1 when she was asked how it was to work with the pop star.

"I shouldn't be saying this, but he was kind of a brat," Helgenberger said. "He was very nice to me. But he locked one of the producers in a closet, and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast's table."

OK, diva much?

Bieber appeared on two episodes of "CSI," playing bad boy Jason McCann. Maybe he was just getting into character? When asked if she thought he was a good actor, Helgenberger gave a safer answer.

"Justin Bieber wasn't bad. But he'd never acted before.... He's better than you'd think," she said.

But the "Never Say Never 3D" star seems to think he was better than that.

"it's kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind," he tweeted Monday, adding "dont spread gossip and dont spread rumors about others...im a kid and i know that. #respect"

But he didn't stop there.

"I know who i am and sometimes people r just going 2 say what they want. Keep ur head up and be the man ur mama raised. #killemwithkindness," he wrote, which, yet again, led to the hashtag becoming a top trend on the micro-blogging site.

Nicole Crowther regrets leaving Twitter over 'Glee' spoiler, says she didn't work prom episode

Nicole Crowther, who tweeted a "Glee" spoiler Nicole Crowther, the one-time "Glee" extra who was skewered for tweeting a spoiler of the hit show's prom episode and incurred the wrath of co-creator Brad Falchuk, is trying to set the record straight: She did not work the episode in question and heard the information secondhand.

"I had no idea it would blow up like this, I do regret it," she told the Ministry on Monday. Crowther, 21, appeared on only one episode of the show, she said, in 2010. Reports last week had characterized her as working "Glee" regularly, and tweeting after learning the prom king and queen's identity in person.

"I'm afraid my career is in jeopardy -- my career that hasn't even started because of this lie," she said. "Nobody took the time to check the facts. But I do understand why [Falchuk] would be upset ... the truth of the matter is that I wasn't on set."

Crowther, a film student, revealed the cryptic spoiler last week to her nearly 2,000 followers, with whom she had a "Glee"-related rapport. Fans of the show were able to decipher the code, but she said she wasn't even sure if the rumor was true.

Then a Twitter tirade from Falchuk seemed to confirm her speculation: "@nicolecrowther Hope you're qualified to do something besides work in entertainment," he wrote, adding "Who are you to spoil something talented people have spent months to create?"

"That's what surprised me the most," Crowther said. "I was very stunned by what he said to me regarding my career. I honestly think that my heart stopped beating for a minute that he even heard what I said."

So where did Crowther get her info? She said she heard the secret at an April 16 dinner party, from a girl who claimed to have been an extra on the "Glee" prom set the day before -- and it was Falchuk who appeared to confirm its veracity.

"Nobody really knows who I am, I'm just twittering away and he goes on and he confirms it. Only a few people would have heard what I said. And he's the one that spread it even more than I did and seemed to threaten my career." She deactivated her Twitter account soon after.

Now, the actress says she's been blackballed. The extra casting agencies she works through suspended her for two to three weeks, and the agency that casts background specifically for "Glee" told her she'd never again work on the Fox show, or on any show it handles.

Crowther's background gigs are a side job while she pursues training to becoming a director. The Fort Myers, Fla., native is a student at the Los Angeles Feature Film Academy, and has found herself in the background on TV sets including Disney's "Shake It Up," "Kickin' It" and "A.N.T. Farm"; Nickelodeon's "Big Time Rush," "Victorious," and "Supah Ninjas"; Fox's "Traffic Light"; and TNT's "Men of a Certain Age." She also worked on the upcoming movies "Prom" and "The Muppets."

The self-proclaimed "Glee" fan had been tweeting about Fox's hit show for about five months, building her following among the Gleek community last October after tweeting that she'd been an extra on the show. She said she's tried to reactivate the account, to no avail, and regrets having deactivating it in the first place, despite knowing that she'd upset a lot of people.

"I deleted it because I thought it would help," but in doing so might have convinced people she was in the wrong. "I shouldn't have deleted it."

"I have nothing to be ashamed of, I have nothing to hide. I'm telling the truth and I'm going to prove that to everyone."

Emma Watson not 'bullied out' of Brown University, rep says

Emma Watson leaving Brown for another university "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson will not be returning to Brown University in the fall -- but it's not because of bullying.

Watson, who plays brilliant bookworm Hermione Granger in the magical franchise, will be transferring to another university to pursue a course of study not offered at the Rhode Island institution. (Defense against the dark arts, perhaps, or ancient runes?) No word yet on what school she'll be attending.

In March she announced she would be taking time off from Brown to finish work on "Harry Potter" and focus on her "other professional and acting projects."

But reports surfaced last week claiming Watson's breakup with Brown came because she was "bullied out" -- reports that had no basis in truth, her rep Vanessa Davies told the Associated Press.

Rumor had it that according to unidentified classmates and insiders, the actress was fed up with bullies who would shout out quips like "Ten points for Gryffindor!" when she answered a question in class.

Rather, Davies said, Watson "has absolutely loved her time at Brown" and developed a network of good friends there.

Seriously, why people wouldn't line up to be Hermione's BFF, we have no idea. Did they not know about her Lancôme perks and fashion pull?

Watson, who will be hunting down horcruxes this summer in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Part 2," the final chapter of the wizarding series, is also set to star in Summit Entertainment's "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" as Logan Lerman's love interest.

Dwight Howard goes after Royce Reed in California court to collect on Florida defamation judgment

Dwight Howard going after Royce Reed in California

Basketball star Dwight Howard is going after baby mama Royce Reed in California to collect on a Florida court decision that she besmirched his name in the media by calling him out on Twitter and in "Basketball Wives."

Royce ReedThe Orlando Magic center claims Reed owes him $551,606.74, including interest, from a defamation judgment he won last year after several months of court battles. The $500,000 Reed was ordered to pay Howard for violating a court order that prohibited her from talking about him in the media still hasn't been paid out. So now Howard is changing it up, taking her to court in California so he would go after her Golden State assets, TMZ reported.

But sources said Reed, the most loathed of the ladies on VH1's "Basketball Wives" reality show, has "nada" in California.

Oh, snap!

Reed, a former dancer for the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat, caused a stir by dancing provocatively at a 2010 Super Bowl pool party hosted by Terrell Owens and Ludacris. She also invoked the wrath of Shaquille O'Neal's ex-wife, Shaunie O'Neal, and the other "Wives" cast members after getting crazy during the show's second-season reunion.

The matter of her throwing shade at Howard, the father of their son, 3-year-old Braylon, had been a sore issue while the show was being shot.

Weird Al Yankovic's Lady Gaga parody saga: 'I Perform This Way'

When you hit as big as Lady Gaga has, a "Weird Al" Yankovic parody can't be far behind -- but with an act as unique as Lady Gaga involved, things got a little extra weird for Al.

"Well, this was a strange day," the satirist wrote on his blog late Wednesday. "After putting my Lady Gaga parody on YouTube this morning -- and announcing that it wouldn't be on my next album because Gaga didn't approve it –- there was a huge outpouring of disappointment from the Internet. Apparently the fact that she didn't approve it was news to Lady Gaga herself!"

Yankovic had vented earlier in the day, albeit kindly, about the "Born This Way" singer's alleged last-minute rejection of his song despite his advance submission of the concept, lyrics that poke fun at Gaga's outlandish costumes and performances, and a rough-cut recording with a due date that required him to cut short a family vacation.

Weird-al

"I still don't know specifically what kind of problem she has with the song (obviously I take a few jabs at her, but y'know, it's satire –- that's how it's supposed to work). And I'm especially confused as to why she waited until I actually recorded the song (at her insistence!) before saying no," he initially wrote of the Gaga saga. "It's not like there were any surprises in the finished song that she couldn't have foreseen by, you know, READING THE LYRICS."

(Though parodies fall under fair use and don't require permission to be released, Yankovic said it is his "personal policy" to get consent from the original artist before putting a parody on an album.)

But wait! Turns out, "Even though we assumed that Gaga herself was the one making the decision (because, well, that's what we were TOLD), [her manager] apparently made the decision completely on his own," Yankovic wrote later in the day. "He's sorry. And Gaga loves the song."

So all's weird that ends weird -- and all proceeds from the song and video will go to the Human Rights Campaign.

And in case you were wondering why he went the interwebs route to release the song, that's a little "personal" too.

"Given the circumstances, I have no problem with allowing people to hear it online, because I also have a personal policy not to completely waste my stinking time," he wrote, including the spot-on lyrics, which go a little something like this:

Lady Gaga in concert

My Mama told me when I was hatched
Act like a superstar
Save your allowance, buy a bubble dress
And someday you will go far
Now on red carpets
Well, I'm hard to miss
The press follows everywhere I go
I'll poke your eye out with a dress like this
Back off and enjoy the show!

I'm sure my critics will say
It's a grotesque display
Well, they can bite me, baby
I perform this way
I might be wearin' Swiss cheese
Or maybe covered with bees
It doesn't mean I'm crazy
I perform this way

"There must have been a misunderstanding because [Gaga] is in no way trying to block the release of the parody," sources close to the singer told TMZ. "She's busy touring and hasn't heard the song yet. Her manager hasn't had a chance to play it for her yet. ... She's a huge Weird Al fan."

Our friends at Pop & Hiss did float the idea that the rejection came because "Born This Way" is already a "thinly veiled" version of Madonna's hit "Express Yourself" and "would simply explode if copied one more time."

Late Wednesday ahead of Yankovic's blog update, his manager Jay Levey said permission had in fact been given for "I Perform This Way" to appear on the new album.

What do you think of "I Perform This Way" -- smashing or bashing? Watch above, and tell us in comments.

Ryan Murphy of 'Glee' apologizes for using f-bombs, says Kings of Leon are 'cool'

Glee's Ryan Murphy with cast

"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy has made his version of an apology to the Kings of Leon and the Foo Fighters after the bands wouldn't allow their music to be used on the hit show.

"I didn't speak with as much clarity as I would have liked," Murphy told the Hollywood Reporter, referring to his expletive-peppered comments about the bands in January.

Let's just say he, like the Kings of Leon, was being a poor sport.

"I completely understand when artists don't want a show or another artist to interpret their songs. In fact, I respect it," he added. "It's their personal work and I'd feel the same way. We get turned down all the time and [I] don't fight it or even go back after a rejection."

Slash and singer Bjork also passed on having their music on the show.

After Murphy's initial comments, Kings of Leon member Nathan Followill shot back at him to "buy a new bra" and get over it.  Critics deemed the language homophobic.

It's been said that Gwyneth Paltrow, a "Glee" guest star and Murphy's pal, may have brokered peace talks through a series of text messages.
