Trailer: Jennifer Aniston's who's-your-daddy flick 'The Switch' with Jason Bateman

Whether you think Jennifer Aniston's opening weekend for "The Bounty Hunter" was a triumph or a tank, the star is still churning out the romantic comedies -- today brings the trailer for her Jason Bateman pregnancy flick, "The Switch."

The comedy costarring Jeff Goldblum and Patrick Wilson -- its working title was "The Baster" -- is an insemination switcheroo that sees Aniston as Kassie, the mother of an adorable 7-year-old hypochondriac. She believes Wilson's character Roland was her donor, even though Bateman's Wally was the guy who provided what he so lovingly calls the "ingredient."

(Yes, you just read the phrase, "insemination switcheroo." It's a brave new world.)

The film was written by Allan Loeb, a fuzzier departure from his more serious fare like Halle Berry's "Things We Lost in the Fire" and the upcoming Shia LaBeouf vehicle "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps."

They say looking good is the best revenge -- not a big challenge for either party if you're the recently defunct couple Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish.

At the time of their February split, Phillippe sat front row at New York Fashion Week; now Aussie actress Cornish has surfaced at an art exhibit hosted by Vanity Fair on Monday night.

In an epic red dress (we're not being partial, but that is the dress to be seen in after a breakup), Cornish was all smiles at the unveiling of Kimberly Brooks' "The Stylist Project," a series of paintings with top Hollywood stylemakers like Rachel Zoe and Jeremy Scott.

There was some blissful togetherness in the room, however, in the form of newlyweds Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend.

The "Mad Men" bombshell admired the painting of her show's fashion guru Janie Bryant, who just last week won big at the Costume Designers Guild Awards.

White House invites the 'Glee' cast to sing at the annual Easter Egg Roll; meanwhile, Shakira stops by to visit

First Lady Michelle Obama has invited the cast of the TV show "Glee" to sing at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, and the show appears ready to accept the invite.

Hmm -- is it a case of cause and effect, given that news of the invite comes on the heels of a White House performance Sunday by the real-life Myrtilla Miner Elementary School Glee Club of Washington, D.C., with a little help from Harry Connick?

More likely merely coincidence -- plus, according to Entertainment Weekly, daughters Malia and Sasha are big fans of the show.

It's not a done deal yet, but producers reportedly jumped at the opportunity, according to Broadway World, offering to change the show's production schedule to accommodate the trip.

Samantha's new 'Sex and the City' boy toy: Meet Noah Mills

Man candy is as crucial to the formula as Manhattan and Manolo Blahnik, so in "Sex and the City 2"  Kim Cattrall's Samantha Jones, of course, gets a serious hunk of it.

Cattrall endeared herself to millions as the super-sexed publicist on Michael Patrick King's HBO show, then in 2008's box office juggernaut film adaptation. With the gals returning in May for more misadventures in love, I'm pleased to introduce Samantha's new love interest: Noah Mills. 

Hailing from Baltimore, Mills makes his feature film debut in the sequel, playing tough but gorgeous blue-collar type Nicky. It also marked his first ever audition.

"That was the first audition; I put a lot of work in," the 26-year-old said, chatting from his home in New York. When Mills says "work," he means impressing King and "Sex" producer John Melfi, gatekeepers for the legacy of the popular franchise. 

I don't suspect Noah had much trouble -- he's had a major modeling career that spans seven years, with jobs for houses such as John Galliano, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana and Michael Kors. His fashion cred alone must have gone miles with the SATC crowd. 

This doesn't mean Mills wasn't a bit nervous going in for scenes with Cattrall -- which consist of a bar-side chat followed by something a lot more intimate, according to rumors ....

Marion Cotillard, Sean Penn and Quentin Tarantino hit the Palm Springs International Film Festival awards

Just because they weren't leaning on the open bar doesn't mean the sober stars attending the 21st Annual Palm Springs Film Festival shouldn't get some love.

Mariah Carey may have stolen the spotlight with her spirited speech, but other heavyweights did show face at the Palm Springs Convention Center for the awards presentation.

Sean Penn attended the bash for his third consecutive year, presenting an achievement award to composer T Bone Burnett for his work on "Crazy Heart." After the show, Penn attended the celeb-packed Parker for cocktails with gay activist Cleve Jones (instrumental in the making of Penn's Oscar-winning "Milk") and directors Jason Reitman and Quentin Tarantino.  

Nearby, Marion Cotillard gushed about receiving her best actress award for "Nine," so soon after her 2008 breakthrough award win for "La Vie en Rose." 

Also in the crowd were Clint Eastwood, who drove himself to the event, and "Jennifer's Body" mastermind Diablo Cody. 

Jeff Bridges, star of "Crazy Heart," made it to the shindig to snag his trophy -- presented by Michelle Pfeiffer -- but with a bad case of walking pneumonia. Perhaps Mariah has a cure for what ails him?

Jake Gyllenhaal indulges in a famous boys' night out

Jake Gyllenhaal is getting by with a little help from his friends -- the attractive, celebrity kind who can get him back in the game after his recent split from Reese Witherspoon.

Gyllenhaal was spotted in snowy New York City partying with Justin Theroux and Mark Ronson, hitting up a benefit for AIDS charity God's Love We Deliver.

Gyllenhaal was having a ball talking to actor Matt Dillon, according to onlookers at the Smyth Tribeca Hotel, while Ronson provided beats for guests like Mary-Louise Parker and Josh Hartnett. Also seen: Gina Gershon, Philip Seymour Hoffman and an affectionate Agyness Deyn.

We say kudos to Jake for being social -- a breakup during the holidays begs for lots of good cheer from random, attractive strangers.

Adam Lambert says he knows nothing about love

The accolades keep rolling in for guylined "it" boy Adam Lambert.

After a star-making turn as runner-up on "American Idol" and with his freshman album seconds away from dropping, Lambert scored a position on Out Magazine's list of the 100 most influential LGBT folks of 2009.

In the glossy's sit-down with Glammy, he confessed that he doesn't have much of a hold on affairs of the heart.

"I’ve only been in love twice,” said Lambert. “I have a lot of life experience, but I don’t know [anything] about love.”

Lambert recently split with his interior designer beau Drake LaBry, and it seems like he's not looking to launch into a new relationship any time soon -- the singer was spotted Sunday night at Bardot Hollywood, where he, his manager and some pals took in managing partner Jason Scoppa's funk and soul night Payback.

We wish Lambert studded leather and sweet dreams until a rebound comes along.
