NBA All-Star Game weekend: Kobe Bryant teams with Kanye West; Tony Parker enjoys the single life

NBA All-Star Game weekend definitely proves that pro basketball's best can party as well as Hollywood's finest -- and alongside them, as a matter of fact.

Los Angeles was crawling with sports stars and their celeb fans through NBA All-Star Weekend, and a few qualified as genuine crossovers: Take Kobe Bryant, who showed off his acting chops Friday at the W Hotel in Hollywood.

NBA All-Star Game Weekend Tony Parker Alongside fellow athletes and stars such as Kanye West, Bryant unveiled "The Black Mamba," a short film produced by Nike that dramatizes his on-court alter ego of the same name.

Directed by Robert Rodriguez ("Machete"), the short, above, costars West, Danny Trejo and Bruce Willis. After the premiere screening atop the hotel at club Drai's, West gave a surprise performance for the lucky crowd, which included Leonardo DiCaprio.

His set raged for seven songs before being cut off because of sound ordinances, but was thoroughly enjoyed by couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, as well as a reunited, maybe-back-on Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.

That same evening, Hennessy Black hosted hip-hop and R&B's finest for an All-Stars pre-party. Chris Brown turned up with a mystery girl, looking sweet on his date until the DJ started playing Brown's biggest hits. At that point he kissed the lady on the cheek and headed to the stage for a 30-minute impromptu dance party.

Eva Longoria's ex Tony Parker seemed to be enjoying the single life, flirting heavily with a female bartender, according to partygoers.

On Saturday, Nicki Minaj showed up at the IMP Entertainment and Steve Marlton Worldwide Allstar Event, where she cozied up to close pal and rapper Drake.

Sightings: Jennifer Love Hewitt gets slim, Lauren Conrad lunches

Jennifer Love Hewitt Had your fill of awards coverage? Let the Ministry catch you up on celeb whereabouts off the red carpet.

Lauren Conrad recently had a lunch date with beau (but not fiance) Kyle Howard. The pair had a casual meal at Whole Foods Market in Westwood. She scooped from the salad bar, and he indulged in some sushi. Despite the low-key locale, romance is still alive -- Howard picked up the tab.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has been mindful of what she's eating. Spotted a few weeks ago at the Slim-Fast 3-2-1 booth at "Access Hollywood's" and On 3 Production's "Stuff You Must ..." Golden Globes lounge, the actress revealed her interesting secret for looking her slimmest on the red carpet: chicken broth ice cubes.

At the same space, Jane Lynch stopped by the NB TrueBalance toning shoes booth and, in true Sue Sylvester fashion, put expert trainer Harley Pasternak through his paces by sitting on his back -- while he did push-ups.

Across the pond in London town, Brit "it" girl Gemma Arterton attended a party at One Mayfair for fashion house G-Star Raw.

Chris Hemsworth leads a celebrity storm at Tao Sundance

Chris Hemsworth The Ministry appreciates Sundance Film Festival founder Robert Redford, with his quiet grace and undying love for filmmaking -- but honestly, who doesn't occasionally need a little Patron on the rocks and some quality star gazing?

That's why we love the annual Tao nightclub pop-up that comes to the festival in Park City, Utah, this year in residence at the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lift.

On Friday's opening night, an army of hot young things turned up to party -- including "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth with his new bride, Elsa Pataky, and actor-brother, Liam Hemsworth.

Hotelier Andre Balazs circulated with the likes of James Franco, bachelor Dominick Cooper, Claire Danes' man Hugh Dancy and Rachel Leigh Cook.

Representing the winter sports was Olympian Shawn White, taking in Robin Antin and the girls of the Pussycat Dolls getting down in the packed space.

Also spotted: actor Kyle Howard sans girlfriend Lauren Conrad, Tinsley Mortimer and Brandon Davis (what, pray tell, are those two doing in town?), and former Brody Jenner flame Jayde Nicole.

Sundance sightings: Susan Sarandon, Lil Jon, Paul Giamatti

Susan Sarandon and Lil Jon at Bing Bar SPiN Happy Hour The 2011 Sundance Film Festival kicked off Thursday, but most Hollywood partiers arrived starting Friday, hitting the town for luxury lounges, discussion series and late-night haunts.

By day, search engine Bing opened its annual Main Street bar with the Decision Makers Series -- a creative panel that kicked off with Susan Sarandon, who reflected on her life and career. Immediately after, she reflected on happy hour with Lil Jon

Sarandon mugged with the actor and producer at the cocktail hour, which also featured ping-pong, hosted by Bing all weekend for celeb revelers.

Down Main Street, at the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lift, celebs scored something other than ping-pong points -- stars including Amy Ryan, Lake Bell, Don Cheadle and Paul Giamatti stopped by the lift, where Samsung was gifting its tablet device, tricked out with Internet access (hard to come by in Park City) and a built-in camera.

All that swag-gathering can inspire some serious hunger, so Sotheby's opened the doors on Chefdance, launching several nights of offerings from celeb chefs.

Andie MacDowell, lovebirds Eliza Dushku and Rick Fox, Anton Yelchin and Maria Menounos were welcomed for a five-course meal from Brian Malarkey, who paired his dishes with specialty cocktails by Belvedere.

Who wouldn't need a cocktail after the awesome sight of Sarandon and Lil Jon? Stay tuned to the Ministry for updated Sundance sightings.

Lindsay Lohan cheers for Knicks at the Lakers game [pictures]

Lindsay Lohan at the Lakers-Knicks game Lindsay Lohan was photographed courtside Sunday night -- a nice change from all those photos of her in court -- as she attended the Lakers' game against the New York Knicks, sitting with jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad.

Sure, she's been spotted out and about in L.A. since leaving rehab on Jan. 3, but enjoying a courtside ticket from Mouawad is a bit different than making a run to the gym or a doing a friendly dinner out with your ex.

Sunday, she had thousands of eyes on her, instead of just a pack of paparazzi. She's reportedly been discussing plans for a new jewelry line with Mouawad.

Lohan, a Knicks fan who wore a hat declaring her team preference, got a tweet from ex Samantha Ronson during the game in which the DJ noted, "i think the knicks are jet lagged. they're getting sleepy right now -- someone wake em up!!!"

Meanwhile, the actress posted pics of a little something sent over by Kobe Bryant: hats of a different color.

"Kobe sent me #lakers hats coz I'm wearing Knicks," Lohan said.

"I'm from NY!!! Gotta stay loyal!"

That might take some doing -- the Lakers beat the Knicks, 109-87.

Lady Gaga surprises New York's Oak Room with a song

Lady Gaga surprises the Oak Room Lady Gaga's concert tickets might come at a steep price, but folks at New York City's Oak Room got a free surprise performance from the artist Wednesday evening.

Dressed in a bondage-esque leather mini and stockings, a blond and powdered Gaga rolled through the venue, within the famous Plaza Hotel, for a jazz performance from pal Brian Newman. It wasn't long before she was inspired to hop on stage and belt out a rendition of "Someone to Watch Over Me."

Not exactly a Monster Ball production, but it's exciting that Gaga can still pop up in unexpected places. Check out the video below, but be warned -- it's mostly dark, with just a few flashes of the Lady.

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal's sweet Thanksgiving date

Taylor Swift Quality time between Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift consists almost exclusively of excessively sweet dating rituals, seemingly ripped from the lyrics of one of Swift's songs -- and Thanksgiving morning was no exception.

The power pair was spotted back in Brooklyn, hitting Park Slope's Gorilla Cafe, near Jake's sister Maggie's home, People said.

The couple enjoyed specialty lattes made with Vermont maple syrup. Swoon. In our idealizing version of the coffee date, Taylor doodled "Mrs. Gyllenhaal" on her napkin and occasionally locked eyes with Jake in his letterman jacket.

Let us not forget that the couple (who, BTW, need a nickname -- Tayke? Swillenhaal?) have previously enjoyed Italian food in the same neighborhood, plus an ice cream date in California.
