NBA All-Star Game weekend definitely proves that pro basketball's best can party as well as Hollywood's finest -- and alongside them, as a matter of fact.
Los Angeles was crawling with sports stars and their celeb fans through NBA All-Star Weekend, and a few qualified as genuine crossovers: Take Kobe Bryant, who showed off his acting chops Friday at the W Hotel in Hollywood.
Directed by Robert Rodriguez ("Machete"), the short, above, costars West, Danny Trejo and Bruce Willis. After the premiere screening atop the hotel at club Drai's, West gave a surprise performance for the lucky crowd, which included Leonardo DiCaprio.
His set raged for seven songs before being cut off because of sound ordinances, but was thoroughly enjoyed by couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, as well as a reunited, maybe-back-on Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.
That same evening, Hennessy Black hosted hip-hop and R&B's finest for an All-Stars pre-party. Chris Brown turned up with a mystery girl, looking sweet on his date until the DJ started playing Brown's biggest hits. At that point he kissed the lady on the cheek and headed to the stage for a 30-minute impromptu dance party.
Eva Longoria's ex Tony Parker seemed to be enjoying the single life, flirting heavily with a female bartender, according to partygoers.
On Saturday, Nicki Minaj showed up at the IMP Entertainment and Steve Marlton Worldwide Allstar Event, where she cozied up to close pal and rapper Drake.
