Sienna Miller put a little femme in fashion during New York Fashion week, flashing her baby bump Tuesday at "The Ever Changing Face of Beauty" video installation.
Miller, 30, and boyfriend Tom Sturridge, 26, an actor, have been playing it a bit coy about their first child together, with word leaking out early in January that they were expecting.
The British actress, a spokeswoman for the Boss Orange fragrance, wore a Boss Black to the event hosted by W magazine's editor in chief, Stefano Tonchi, according to On the Red Carpet.
Miller was previously engaged to actor Jude Law, but that relationship fell apart for the first time after he'd admitted to an affair with his children's nanny, who was caring for Law's three kids with his first wife. They got back together after the 2006 breakup, but finally called it quits a little more than a year ago.
Sturridge and Miller have reportedly been dating for about a year, according to Us Weekly, which reported the pregnancy in January.
They "don't have plans right away to marry, if at all," a source told the mag.
Actress Sienna Miller and author J.K. Rowling added their voices Thursday to growing testimony regarding British tabloids' information-gathering practices, with Rowling saying she'd found a note from a journalist in her then 5-year-old daughter's backpack, and Miller recalling being surprised and even spat at by paparazzi trying to get a reaction on camera.
Miller accepted about $160,000, an apology and an admission of phone-hacking guilt from News of the World in June after agreeing to end her breach-of-privacy lawsuit. That publication shut down in July in the wake of the phone-hacking scandal.
"For a number of years I was relentlessly pursued by 10 to 15 men, almost daily," Miller said Thursday. "Spat at, verbally abused." She said she'd first accused friends and family of leaking information before learning her phone had been hacked, and felt paranoid, as if she were living in some sort of video game.
"I wanted to understand the extent of the info they had on me," Miller said on the stand. "I wanted to know who knew, who knew all of this information, who had access to my telephone numbers, who had been listening to me." Miller was hot news while she was involved with and engaged to Jude Law.
Rowling alleged she'd been stalked by paps during both her pregnancies, and said coverage would increase after she complained to publications about made-up details in stories about her, according to BusinessWeek.
"If you lock horns with them in this way, if you protest or make a complaint, then you can expect some form of retribution fairly quickly," the "Harry Potter" writer said.
Hugh Grant on Monday accused the Mail on Sunday and Daily Mail of hacking into his cellphone messages; the company that owns those papers immediately denied any wrongdoing, saying its information had come from contacts close to the actor and from women with which he'd been involved.
Sienna Miller and the News of the World have officially settled their differences, with the UK tabloid admitting unconditionally that it had illegally listened to the actress's cellphone voicemail messages to obtain gossipy scoops in 2005 and 2006. Also in the mix: a six-figure bucket of cash.
In addition to the tab's unconditional admission of liability, London's High Court on Tuesday awarded Miller damages in the neighborhood of $165,000 and legal costs as part of a deal worked out last month to settle her privacy and harassment claim without a trial. The apology was read aloud in court.
Miller's lawyers reportedly had suggested in court documents that damages should be 400,000 pounds, or four times the final agreed-upon amount.
A similar complaint filed by Jude Law, Miller's on-and-off love interest, is one of five test cases related to the alleged phone hacking that are expected to be heard by the High Court next year, barring more settlements, the Guardian said in May. Law and Miller got engaged in 2004, but split in 2008. They rekindled their relationship again in 2010 but called it quits again early this year.
The actress, who did not appear in court Tuesday, was also granted an injunction preventing any further unlawful accessing of her voicemail and publication of her private information.
At least three News of the World journalists have been arrested in connection with the phone-hacking allegations. The paper is owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp.
British import and fashion plate Sienna Miller did her part to celebrate bachelors everywhere on Friday evening -- and not just by leaving Jude Law at home.
The actress helped open Esquire magazine's pop-up house for the eighth consecutive year, a swinging $18.9-million home -- billed as the ultimate bachelor pad -- in the Hollywood Hills.
Miller's male counterparts in the movie biz helped celebrate the space, including Aaron Eckhart, who roamed the party solo with a cigar. Calvin Klein spokesman Mehcad Brooks huddled in a corner with a female friend while singer John Legend was a huge hit with the crowd handing out business cards and shaking hands. (Click the photo of Eckhart below to launch a gallery of red carpet arrivals.)
The undead were represented by "True Blood" star Alexander Skarsgard, but he wasn't there to enjoy any spoils of single life -- his main squeeze Kate Bosworth attended as well, the pair keeping a healthy distance all evening in step with their uber-private romance.
Miller was hostess for Esquire's grand-opening benefit for International Medical Corps. Other stars that showed included "Desperate Housewives" star Felicity Huffman, Marlon Wayans and actress Michelle Rodriguez.
Fresh intelligence in the most surreal divorce/un-divorce drama in show business: The guy who supposedly came between Larry King and wife Shawn? You know, that guy? Apparently he was a close family friend.
According to Radar, the would-be home-wrecker is a baseball coach and fiercely ambitious wannabe actor named Hector Penate. Take it away, Radar:
"According to [a] source, Penate grew extremely close to the family, with the children 'idolizing' him and the Kings taking him everywhere with them, including on shopping trips and amusement park visits .... Shawn was attempting to hook up Hector with her husband’s agent and Larry was also helping, the source says, adding: 'Larry was more concerned with his kids' baseball careers, you know, upcoming baseball careers for his kids, so he was willing to help out Hector, to keep him happy.' "
OK, note to everybody: When a hot dude is hanging around with you and your wife, and hanging out with your kids, and going with you on shopping and amusement park jaunts, he is tagging your wife.
Did no one learn anything from the whole Jude Law nanny mess? (You know: Jude Law hires nanny, nanny is there all the time because she’s a nanny, Jude Law cheats on fiancee Sienna Miller with nanny?)
Actually, even Miller apparently didn’t learn anything from the Jude Law nanny mess. She and Law were photographed just this week — looking mighty cozy.

While celebrities frolicked and played over the holiday weekend, the Ministry observed a not-so-merry Christmas for one charming French luxury village: Saint-Tropez.
Has the historic and glamorous city jumped the shark?
It looks to us as if all the famous lovelies decamped to Barbados, the teeny paradise in the east of the Caribbean Sea.
Most notably in attendance were Jude Law and Sienna Miller, taking their alleged reunion on tour. Sienna was spotted in a bikini, splashing around in the water with two of Law's children, while the "Sherlock Holmes" star looked on (perhaps contemplating that $65-million opening?). After some one-on-one romance in New York City, it would seem the pair are kicking it up a notch by incorporating family time.
Another big fish throwing his weight around in Barbados was ...
