Alexis Knapp makes 'Phillippe' part of baby Kailani's name

Ryan Phillippe has remained silent on the possible paternity of a baby long suspected to be his -- but Alexis Knapp may have dropped a clue that he's the father of her newborn girl.

Knapp, an actress and friend of Miley Cyrus, has reportedly given the name Kailani Merizalde Phillippe Knapp to the baby born July 1.

Despite the inclusion of Ryan's surname in the baby's name, the field in which the birth father is identified was left blank, People said.

In March, an expectant Knapp was telling friends she was carrying the "Lincoln Lawyer" actor's child. The pair were said to have dated in February 2010, after his split from actress Abbie Cornish. 

Phillippe hasn't commented on his dad status, but was seen escorting Knapp to doctor appointments toward the end of her pregnancy and was at the hospital for the delivery.

"Ryan is aware of the situation [and] totally prepared to take responsibility should the child be his," a source said when rumors first circulated in the spring.

Demi Lovato, Ryan Phillippe not dating. Apparently. Sources say. Just sayin'.

Let order be restored to the universe: It seems Demi Lovato and Ryan Phillippe are not dating, though there certainly have been a bunch of "sources" chatting about it.

Rumors swirled Monday that the 18-year-old Disney star and the 36-year-old actor had been dating for months, until she learned that Phillippe was about to be a father again.

"It was really hot and heavy for a while," E! News said of their alleged courtship, said to have ended when evidence suggested Phillippe is the father of Miley Cyrus pal Alexis Knapp's newborn baby. 

"They were just hooking up," Us Magazine chimed in the same day, adding, "it was nothing serious."

Tuesday, however, brought a denial of the entire May-December fling -- or perhaps in this case more April-September?

"This is not true. He's totally single," a source told People.

Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe break up -- again

Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe have permanently switched their relationship to "off," according to a new report.

The actors have been hot and cold for seven months but finally called it quits. "It was mutual," a source tells Us magazine. "They were never fully committed." 

Romance rumors surrounded the pair since the beginning of their courtship in October 2010, on the heels of Seyfried's tumultuous split from actor Dominic Cooper. In January of this year, pictures of the two hugging on the set of the action thriller "Now" (since renamed "In Time") provided visual confirmation of their mutual affection.

It was never the smoothest road for Seyfried and Phillippe. In March, she waxed on how easy it was to take romance off-screen with the right costar.

It is "one of the easiest things in the world. You're both open. You're put in a situation where you have to make out with each other. It's easy for things to get carried away," she told Elle magazine.

On the heels of this confession, news broke that Phillippe was allegedly the father of actress Alexis Knapp's child. Phillippe requested a paternity test but indicated he'd support Knapp and the child if he indeed was the dad. 

Seyfried, according to Us, stood by Phillippe but -- alas -- they're dunzo.

"There's no bad blood. They're cool," the magazine's source adds.

Reese Witherspoon marries Jim Toth at her Ojai ranch

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth were married Saturday at the actress' ranch estate in Ojai after a three-month engagement and yearlong courtship before that.

The couple tied the knot in a ceremony that ran less than a half hour, according to various reports, in front of about 100 friends at the 7-acre ranch. Toth, an agent with CAA, began seeing Witherspoon shortly after her split with Jake Gyllenhaal. Toth, 40, was seated with Reese's parents in December when the 35-year-old Oscar winner got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, Witherspoon's children with first husband Ryan Phillippe, were in the wedding party, E! News reported, and the bride wore a gown by Monique Lhuillier.

Among the guests: Renee Zellweger, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan, and Alyssa Milano and her CAA agent husband, David Bugliari. Recently rumored couple Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson attended together, People said.

Phillippe spent the weekend at the Ojai-close San Ysidro Inn with Amanda Seyfried, Radar Online said Saturday, though E! News reported he did not attend the ceremony. Reese and Ryan married in 1999; they split in 2006, with the divorce finalized in 2008.

Witherspoon was spotting running errands Friday in West Hollywood, where law enforcement gave her an assist in avoiding paparazzi, E! News reported. A rehearsal dinner was planned for Friday night, according to RadarOnline, and many guests were expected to check into the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, where rooms start at $300 a night, suites run $850 to $1,500 and the five-bedroom Casa Elar can be had for $15,000.

Witherspoon's country house in Ojai was designed by Wallace Neff, according to Hooked on Homes. Toth put a four-carat diamond ring on her finger for their engagement.

Witherspoon stars next in "Water for Elephants" with Robert Pattinson. The film opens April 22.

Ryan Phillippe ex Alexis Knapp reportedly telling friends she's pregnant with his baby

Ryan Phillippe might have a third child on the way --   actress Alexis Knapp is reportedly spreading the word that she's carrying Phillippe's baby, according to several reports.

The 36-year-old actor dated Knapp after splitting with Abbie Cornish in February 2010; he's now reportedly involved with Amanda Seyfried.

Knapp "has been telling people he is the father," one source told Us Weekly, with another adding, "He and Alexis were actually together for a while ... it was pretty serious." 

A source told People the baby is due in June.

Knapp, who'll be seen later this year in "So Undercover," was spotted on a girls' night in New Orleans in December, clubbing with costars Miley Cyrus and Kelly Osbourne.

Phillippe, who in recent whispers has also been linked with singer Rihanna, has two children from his marriage to actress Reese Witherspoon.

Reps for Phillippe and Knapp wouldn't comment, but it's believed that he will investigate paternity and, if found to be the baby daddy, take full responsibility for the bundle.

Matthew McConaughey, Ryan Phillippe premiere 'The Lincoln Lawyer'

Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves brought a few relatives along for a ride on "The Lincoln Lawyer" red carpet Thursday night at the drama's premiere in Hollywood.

Alves' mom Fatima attended, as did McConaughey's mom, Kay, and his brother and sister-in-law Mike and Erica McConaughey.

The father of two also had a spare "kid" on the carpet outside the Arclight: Mackenzie Aladjem of "Nurse Jackie," who plays his daughter in the drama about a lawyer who operates out of the back seat of his car.

Ryan Phillipe, cast as the rich client with something to hide, showed up -- as did fellow cast members William H. Macy, Josh Lucas, Michael Peña, Frances Fisher, Trace Adkins, Erin Carufel and Yari De Leon.

Also spotted: "Old Spice" guy Isaiah Mustafa, model Marisa Miller and a pregnant Pink. Click the pics for more photos from the red carpet.

Amanda Seyfried is not the coy girl she once seemed to be: The "Red Riding Hood" actress will kiss and tell, especially when her leading men are Hollywood hotties such as Ryan Phillipe, Channing Tatum, Justin Timberlake and Dominic Cooper.

Seyfried, who's done soap operas, musicals and television, is channeling her pristine star power this month in a grown-up, spooky version of the children's story, directed by "Twilight" alum Catherine Hardwicke.

The 24-year-old "Big Love" actress and April's Elle cover girl -- styled in Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander McQueen while toting various furry critters -- opened up to the mag about being inspired by Meryl Streep, not wanting Botox and how she can't help falling for her leading men.

"[It is] one of the easiest things in the world. You're both open. You're put in a situation where you have to make out with each other. It's easy for things to get carried away," she said.

Her best on-screen kisses? "I can't lie. It didn't suck making out with Channing [Tatum] and Justin [Timberlake]."

For those trying to keep track, she did "Dear John" with Tatum and will costar with Timberlake in "Now."

And what of her roller coaster of a relationship with Cooper, her "Mamma Mia!" costar? Seyfried spoke candidly on the tumultuous romance and impending fallout that occurred when she thought he would break up with "Mean Girls" castmate Lindsay Lohan for her.

"I was just kind of foolishly thinking that the two of them were done and Dom and I were involved," she said. "But we weren't really as involved as I thought. So I got my heart broken pretty hard," she said. She and Cooper eventually got together, but "then it took a long time for us to break up again. After that, it's really hard to open myself up to a new person. Really hard."

In the meantime, she dated Alexander Skarsgard, but said she "was too involved with Dom."

So is she now dating Phillippe? "Um, yeah. I've been 'seen' with him," she said.

The issue hits newsstands March 22.

Ryan Phillippe wishes Reese Witherspoon the best on engagement to Jim Toth

Ryan Phillippe sent sweet tidings to ex-wife Reese Witherspoon on Thursday, in regards to her recent engagement to Jim Toth.

"I'm very happy for both Reese and Jim," the actor said in a statement to the New York Daily News. "I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children." 

Phillippe and Witherspoon were young Hollywood royalty when they hooked up in the late '90s in a relationship that gained popularity with the release of the teen hit "Cruel Intentions," costarring Sarah Michelle Gellar. The couple, who have kids Ava and Deacon together, separated in 2006 and divorced in 2007, after which Witherspoon dated actor Jake Gyllenhaal. 

The "Sweet Home Alabama" star took up with CAA's Toth after Gyllenhaal's exit. Phillippe is rumored to be dating actress Amanda Seyfried.

Ryan Phillippe selling gym for $7.2 million (with a sweet bachelor pad attached)

Bless the heart beating just north of Ryan Phillippe's six-pack — the actor really has made the gratuitous beefcake a priority, as evidenced by the listing of his Hollywood Hills bachelor pad.

Phillippe purchased the spot in 2008 after his divorce from Reese Witherspoon. A single actor's dream, the pad boasts some serious outdoor play space of the adult variety, some indoor play space for his and Witherspoon's kids, and naturally a gym to die for.

That explains a lot.

Phillippe has a two-story fitness center built into the master suite, which offers panoramic views of Los Angeles, and there is a swimming pool and screening room. He's asking a humble $7.175 million for the place, and you can check out photos here.

Stars hit Puerto Rico for Hollywood domino tournament [Updated]

Several sexy celebs hit Puerto Rico on Labor Day weekend to soak up sun and play in the annual Hollywood Domino Gala and Tournament. 

Ryan Phillippe, newlyweds Dave Annable and Odette Yustman and "Glee" star Mark Salling all showed for a weekend of exclusive events at Puerto Rico's W Retreat and Spa Hotel.

Shirtless fun was had by Phillippe, who eventually suited up for Friday evening's Calvin Klein Black and White Party, a cocktail kickoff for Saturday's main event. 

Proceeds from the tournament benefited La Fundacion A-Mar, a local charity that funds aid for child burn victims and pediatric care.
