Donald Trump dances on Rosie O'Donnell show's grave [Poll]

Donald Trump is delighted Rosie O'Donnell has failed

Rosie O'Donnell's show on OWN has been canceled, and Donald Trump is predictably tiptoeing on its grave.

Wait, did we say tiptoeing? More like tap dancing. Nay, clogging. Heck, if there were more Donald Trumps in the world, Trump would be doing a full-on Rockettes kick line with himselves to mark the occasion of "The Rosie Show's" demise.

“Frankly, that was just going to happen,” Trump said Monday morning via phone on "Fox & Friends, after blasting O'Donnell first on Twitter. “I knew it immediately when they announced it. Rosie fails at everything. She had a variety show, it failed. I mean, she — I don’t understand now, somebody else, some moron will come and hire her again to do something else and that will fail.

"At some point, let her rest. Let her go away. She’ll never make it and I’ve said it for years. She’ll never make it! She must have a very good agent."

And he didn't let the Twitter opportunity get away either, tweeting a link to mention of his "F&F" interview and wondering in an extended tweet, "Rosie O'Donnell has failed again. Her ratings were abysmal and Oprah cancelled her on Friday night. When will media executives learn that Rosie just hasn't got it."

The two have been at it back and forth for years, with Trump picking on the new show late last year. In 2006, O'Donnell lashed out and Trump for not firing then-Miss USA Tara Connor. He said he'd started it by bagging on her over her "failed magazine," which she shuttered in 2002, and told Anderson Cooper at the time that she was "not a smart person," "a stone cold loser," "a bully" and a "very unattractive woman both inside and out."

So tell us, Donald, how do you really feel? And tell us, readers, how do you really feel about Rosie?

Rosie O'Donnell talks fear of little people with Chelsea Handler

Rosie O'Donnell has a little problem with little people, it seems -- a little problem that could blow up big and bad for the talk-show host and Chelsea Handler, who was a guest recently on "The Rosie Show."

Sharing bluntly and awkwardly with Handler, O'Donnell admitted "a mild fear or anxiety around little people" that she blamed on her "Nana," whom she said "was afraid of the 'Wizard of Oz' munchkins."

After getting it straight that Handler hadn't slept with a little person, especially because, as Chelsea put it, "No, that would be child abuse," O'Donnell explained her own problem further.

"What the problem is for me is ... I can't put the two things together. This is an adult person, but it's a little person, but they have adult ... it's so hard for me."

The women discussed little people with terms often reserved for abandoned and unwanted animals, then Rosie brought up the topic of how a little-person couple can have a normal-size child without the mother dying during childbirth. This after Handler essentially said that some of her best friends are little people.

"I was taken back," Amy Rolloff, one of the stars of TLC's "Little People, Big World," told the "Today" show on Thursday. "I was sad really to hear that from someone." (The series, off the air since 2010, is back for four specials starting Sunday.)

"If you're going to have a little person," Handler said, referring to Chuy Bravo, who works on her show, "I want that shape [that he has], you know, that corpulence, and the boomp-boom ... it's just the sweetest, it's like having a kid. 'Cause who else was going to give that guy a job ... "

"There's not a lot of job opportunities for those kind of people," said the host of "Chelsea Lately." "They need help."

Rosie O'Donnell is getting married again
Rosie O'Donnell is putting a ring on it -- or, to be precise, the finger of her girlfriend, New York businesswoman Michelle Rounds.

O'Donnell told the audience of her eponymous OWN talk show that she and Rounds will make the walk down the aisle come Christmas, Us Weekly confirmed. The couple have been dating since September.

Recently, O'Donnell opened up to her pal, Howard Stern, about the courtship, comparing Rounds to Julianne Moore and maintaining that her girlfriend was out of her league (we'd love to make an "A League of Their Own" joke, but we're telling you more about the engagement).

Clearly Rounds is satisfied with her funny gal. No location has been set for the nuptials, which will be a second altar visit for O'Donnell. She married Kelli Carpenter in 2007, and split three years later. O'Donnell and Carpenter share custody of four children.

Rosie O'Donnell doesn't get Kardashians: 'the new Gabor sisters'

Are the Kardashian sisters the new Gabors? Rosie O'Donnell thinks so.

Rosie O'Donnell missed the boat on the Kardashian phenomenon, but the talk show host seems content with her castaway status.

"I've never seen any of the Kardashian shows, I don't really know the family or the story, all I know is Bruce Jenner looks weird, right?" O'Donnell mused on Tuesday.

"When that all that [happened], the writers were like, 'We've got a bunch of Kim Kardashian jokes.' And I looked at them and I went ... 'I don’t really care,' " she said.

Those writers would be for her eponymous talk show for the OWN network, where O'Donnell conducts one-on-ones with celebs, plays interactive audience games and features the odd musical act. None of which, apparently, includes the E! reality sisters.

What O'Donnell can deduce is the Kardashian family's parallel to another group of fame-seeking siblings: the Gabors.

"I think that in some ways, they're the new Gabor sisters, but I don't have time," O'Donnell said.

Hungarian socialites Eva, Zsa Zsa and Magda decamped to Hollywood to seek success in show business — and at the altar. All three sisters were married multiple times (and in one case, to the same man more than once).

But even Rosie isn't immune the family's latest drama: the demise of Kim's 72-day marriage. Or, as O'Donnell quipped, the "Sorry I Got Divorced Tour."

Rosie O'Donnell and Oprah Winfrey announce OWN's "The Rosie Show"

Rosie O'Donnell's big return to television comes Monday in the form of "The Rosie Show" for Oprah Winfrey's OWN Network -- but the time slot came with a little mental health check from the boss.

When first approached by Winfrey come back to the small screen, O'Donnell invited the daytime queen to her home for a four-hour meeting. After they decided to work together, O'Donnell asked Oprah, "Tell me the truth, did you come here to see if I was insane?"

"She said, 'A little bit,'" O'Donnell told "Nightline."

Glad they cleared that up! O'Donnell has been on a considerable media tour hyping the 7 p.m. nightly program, on which she'll interview celebs, highlight musical acts and button up each broadcast with a mini game show.

In addition to the new job, O'Donnell has a new love in her life: New York-based executive Michelle Rounds.

"I thought she was a 28-year-old heterosexual girl, because that's what she looked like to me," O'Donnell said of their summer meet-cute at a Starbucks.

"She's a 40-year-old gay woman ... . I think that if I would have known she was gay I wouldn't have been brave enough to talk to her."

Check out more of O'Donnell's "Nightline" chat below.

Orpah gets a star-studded send off from Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith

For Oprah Winfrey, the beginning of the end was announcing in November 2009 that her long-running "The Oprah Winfrey Show" would be calling it quits after 25 years on the air. Following a supersized final season and trickling, teary-celeb tributes, the end is almost here.

Oprah Winfrey and Tom Cruise Taping "Oprah's Surprise Spectacular," her third-to-last show in Chicago, Winfrey hosted tons of famous names who came to pay homage to the queen of daytime television.

Maria Shriver, Madonna, Tyler Perry, Usher and famous couch-jumper Tom Cruise all graced the stage in front of thousands of fans at Chi-town's United Center. It was an event worth getting out of jury duty to witness.

"You have given me love, support, wisdom and, most of all, the truth," Shriver told Winfrey. "And I know I’m not alone in receiving those gifts from you."

A rather fitting performance came from Beyonce, clad in a tuxedo unitard, belting out her new tune "Run the World (Girls)." Atop a glowing podium fit for a female president, Beyonce flipped her hair and sang out, "My persuasion can build a nation."

Oprah can relate. Another female music tribute came from pint-sized Broadway vet Kristin Chenoweth, who performed with scores of formally dressed Morehouse College grads.

Power couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith came by, as did Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Katie Holmes, Queen Latifah,  Diane Sawyer and Michael Jordan (click the pics to see more photos from the star-studded event).

We were surprised and delighted to see Winfrey's longtime beau Stedman Graham trot out on stage; we imagine he has an insight or two after so many years with the mogul.

So might Maya Angelou, who appeared with Alicia Keys. As did Dakota Fanning, Jerry Seinfeld, Jamie Foxx, Rosie O'Donnell and John Legend via satellite

Other performers included Patti LaBelle, featuring Josh Groban, Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin.

Rosie O'Donnell moving into Oprah's Harpo studio

Oprah Winfrey, Rosie O'Donnell Rosie O'Donnell is making a move on Oprah Winfrey's turf as the comedian readies her talk show, which will be based in Oprah's former Chicago studio.

"I'm delighted to welcome Rosie to the studio I've called home for so many years," Winfrey said in a statement to the Associated Press.

O'Donnell will be hosting a one-hour daytime talk show on Winfrey's OWN Network this fall that will be shot on the Harpo Studios lot, which opened in 1990 and was home to "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

"I can't wait to do my show from Chicago," O'Donnell, an Emmy-winning daytime talk-show host herself and guest host on "The View," saId in a statement. "It's a dream come true ... beyond the beyond."

O'Donnell also sent a video message to the Harpo staff welcoming herself aboard saying:

Oprah and Rosie in 2000

"Hello people of Harpo, it's me, Rosie O'Donnell, star of 'The Flintstones.' ... I just wanted to say: Hi, I'm coming to Chicago. Yes, I am, and I'm thrilled about it. And I get to work with all of you, who have created magnificent television for two decades-plus. ... It's a huge thrill for me, and I'm beyond the beyond. And thank you, Oprah. And thank all you people there, some of you who are going to be sticking around and helping us. ...  And that's it: Thrilled, thanks, and I hope I didn't blow the surprise. Figure you already knew. Right?"

Winfrey's network also will be home to original programming featuring Lisa Ling ("Our America"), Shania Twain ("Why Not?") and a documentary about Chaz Bono ("Becoming Chaz").

On Jan. 7, OWN premiered "Your OWN Show: "Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star," a reality competition in which the top prize is a six-episode show on the network.

The finale of Oprah's 25-year juggernaut of a talk show will air May 25.

Miley Cyrus reportedly 'furious' over Billy Ray Cyrus' GQ interview [Poll]

Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus on Hannah Montana Miley Cyrus would reportedly prefer it if dad Billy Ray Cyrus would shut his pie hole, according to a friend of the teen star.

"To say Miley is angry is an understatement," the friend told PopEater. "She's furious that her own flesh and blood would make a private matter so public."

Billy Ray Cyrus aired a lot of family business in a recent GQ interview, blaming "Hannah Montana" for destroying his family, saying he "never made one commissioned dime" off his daughter and asserting that Team Miley didn't allow him to parent her through the rough spots.

"Every time something happened in Miley's career, every time the train went off the track, if you will -- Vanity Fair, pole-dancing, whatever scandal it was -- her people, or as they say in today's news, her handlers, every time they'd put me ... 'Somebody's shooting at Miley! Put the old man up there!' " he told the mag. "Well, I took it because I'm her daddy, and that's what daddies do."

One entity not shocked by Billy Ray's interview, or Miley's attempts to establish herself as an "adult"? Disney itself, according to the Hollywood Reporter, which has a Disney insider saying they saw it coming -- that since "Hannah Montana" wrapped in January, Miley and Billy Ray have been clear with the company about their desire to distance themselves from the series and the character.

Rosie O'Donnell, her new girlfriend -- and all those kids!

Rosie Rosie O'Donnell and Kelli Carpenter are over -- turns out they have been for a while now. Now Rosie has a new girlfriend, Texas artist Tracy Kachtick-Anders, with whom she's been enjoying Miami Beach this week.

Looks as if they're having a nice time, yes? Apparently they met online.

But then we did some light reading -- wow, Tracy has six kids. Rosie, as we know, has four in her family.

It's quiet here today, and the temptation is irresistible: That sucking sound you hear is our reality TV "creative brainstorming" helmet being donned.

Now, the Ministry gets a bit fuzzy on mathematics when rivers of bubbly await, but yes, six plus four equals 10. And 10 is more than eight, albeit less than 14.

~~ The smell of "reality" is getting really thick around here. This stupid helmet is coming off now -- it's freaking me out. Should've had the Champagne *first.* ~~

So is it time for Nadya Suleman and Kate Gosselin to fear for their television futures?

Meh, we're thinking they have absolutely nothing to worry about ...

You can't kiss like Rebecca Budig can kiss -- thank goodness the 'All My Children' star is here to help!

Rebecca budig "All My Children" star Rebecca Budig's first on-screen kiss was "just horrible," she says with a laugh -- but since then she's been able to practice, practice, practice that "acquired skill."

And she's very willing to share her kissing tips with the Ministry this New Year's Eve, in plenty of time for the stroke of midnight.

(Pretty cool to get to practice your early smooching technique on the likes of Josh Duhamel -- of whom she speaks highly.)

Budig's come a long way since that first onscreen kiss, which was with Chris O'Donnell in "Batman Forever." His Robin had just rescued her Teenage Girl and "I didn't know what to do. Didn't know that I could touch him!"

And as she stood there, arms just hanging at her sides, things generally not going well -- that's when director Joel Schumacher came over.

"He said, 'Am I going to have to teach you two how to kiss?'"

"Talk about embarrassed!" she blurts. It was, she maintains, "the worst two minutes of the movie."

"That kiss was horrible. Then," she says, bouncing back into the minty voice of a consummate kisser, "I just learned over time. ... It's an acquired skill, kissing."

~~ At the Ministry, our acquired skills are more like, "typing really fast." *Totally* not fair. ~~

The following are Budig's "must-haves" as she preps for a kiss at work:
