Robert Pattinson pleased after KStew walks a mile in his contacts

Robert Pattinson outside the "Today" show studio

Robert Pattinson seems rather delighted that Kristen Stewart is finally feeling his pain.

The pain would be that of finally having to wear the gold, code-for-vampire contact lenses he's been dealing with throughout "The Twilight Saga," he told MTV News. They're a little more hard-core than the brown contacts she'd donned as Bella Swan -- and thought were no big deal, so what was his problem -- prior to her transformation into an immortal bloodsucker, which happens in the "Breaking Dawn" films.

"When she finally wore them and was complaining about them every second of the day," Pattinson told MTV, "it was kind of satisfying."

Nice boyfriend, eh?

Stewart, of course, showed her cards in the November issue of British GQ, noting that "my boyfriend is English" before backing away a bit with, "I never would have said that if I knew you were going to be interviewing me." Stewart was the mag's cover girl, with a photo spread inside.

"So much of my life is so easily Googled," she said. "I mean, it's like, come on guys, it's so obvious!"

Obvious or not, their relationship is something she's wanted to keep private. "It's just one of those things. I'm selfish. I'm like, 'That's mine!' ... I always say to myself I'm never going to give anything away because there's never any point or benefit for me."

When it comes to those uncomfortable gold contact lenses, however, it looks like what was only "his" is now "ours." Rather, "theirs." Ugh, still no benefit for Kristen!

The world premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1" is Monday, and the movie opens Nov. 18.

'Breaking Dawn' stars leave handprints, footprints in Hollywood

Twilight-trio-pattinson-ste
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner got immortalized in a non-vampire fashion Thursday, as the "Twilight Saga" triumvirate left imprints of their hands and feet outside Hollywood's Grauman's Chinese Theater.

"You're not gonna kill us, right?" emcee Jimmy Kimmel asked the massive crowd of fans assembled on Hollywood Boulevard, introducing the bright young things before KStew, RPatz and Tay-Tay plunged their mitts into cement.

"It's because of the unbelievably enthusiastic fan support that … the stars of this film are unable to come out of their homes," Kimmel said.

"I think this is really cool to be a part of Hollywood history," author Stephenie Meyer — looking incredibly svelte — said of the three stars.

"I'm excited for them, and I'm also very proud of them," the "Twilight" world's creator said. "Their lives have changed so much over the past few years, and they've done it with so much class."

"This is so crazy for us," Stewart said as the crowd shrieked, "I've been so enamored by this business, Hollywood. … I think this is the coolest thing I've ever done in my life."

In a black-and-nude mini, Stewart turned over the mike to a sunglasses-sporting Pattinson, who thanked fans for their consistency before suggesting everyone come up and put their own hands in the cement.

For you fans, we note a signature KStew move: The actress, who arrived in a chic pair of Brian Atwood pumps, changed into a black-and-white-checked pair of Vans to leave her footprint.

Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson's slight sex-scene 'adjustment'

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's on screen sex scene needed some toning down

In the case of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's "Breaking Dawn" sex scene, it appears one can improve on perfection.

Director Bill Condon is opening up about how steamy he was, or wasn't, allowed to be when it came to the consummation of the vampire-human marriage of Stewart's Bella Swan and Pattinson's Edward Cullen in the first of the two "Breaking Dawn" films.

"It's almost clinical the kind of strict guidelines [the MPAA] have about anything that appears to be -- how do I put it delicately? That appears to be, let's call it 'thrusting,'" Condon told MTV.

"In fact, you know, it was so much more about romance than it was about hot-and-heavy action, so it was a very kind of simple adjustment to make."

Well, here's to seeing Pattinson and Stewart adjust all kinds of things together in the new film, which premieres Nov. 14 in Los Angeles. And let's face it, their characters have nothing but green lights, thanks to their on-screen nuptials.

But wait, is that also a real-life marriage for Rob and Kristen?

"The wedding scene's funny because we used a real priest. So technically we are already married, because he did all the things you would do in a normal ceremony," Pattinson said at a news conference in Sweden last week.

"So we don't have a civil union in law, but I guess in the church we are actually married," he surmised.

Let's take this one honeymoon at a time, kids.

Robert Pattinson isn't recording a solo album

Robert Pattinson is not recording an album

Sorry, Robert Pattinson fans. You won't have any concert tickets to battle for, album posters to weep over or iTunes singles to push up the charts. The "Twilight" saga star is not recording an album.

A Tuesday report said Pattinson was "kicking a few original songs around for a long time, but his schedule didn't allow it."

The onscreen vampire previously recorded singles, including "Let Me Sign" for the soundtrack of the first "Twilight " film.

"Now he's got some weeks to get everything in line before going back to promoting 'Breaking Dawn,' " Us magazine proposed. A rep for Pattinson disagreed.

"The report is untrue. He is not working on an album right now," the spokesperson told MTV.

Hopefully this revelation will not slow his career as guitar instructor.

Melissa Rosenberg's OMG moments from the 'Breaking Dawn' trailer

"Breaking Dawn" trailer insight from "The Twilight Saga" screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg

Upon release of the full "Breaking Dawn" trailer, the Ministry had a tough decision to make: Let our heads explode with all the Edward-Bella-Jacob shenanigans, or call our friend Melissa Rosenberg for some insight.

We chose the latter. "The Twilight Saga" screenwriter, entrusted to adapt Stephenie Meyer's vampire series for the big screen, clued us in on her favorite moments from the new clip. Such as:

Ever after: Rosenberg was pleased that the trailer in part indicated that this film is about a marriage. "It teases the fact that this a story about ... a marriage going through some unusual stresses ....  At one point in the movie there's a line where Edward says, 'They say the first year is the hardest.' It's very funny."

Jacob's heartbreak: We were struck by Jacob's emotional goodbye to human Bella, as he knows she'll soon be promoted to Edward's immortal beloved. Rosenberg says that scene resonates more than we know. "It's a really sweet moment, and it's the moment the film turns. It turns into a horror film," she said. Speaking of which ....

The horror: Robert Pattinson's previous comments that Bill Condon was making a horror movie were ominous, and the trailer in fact reflects terrible times ahead for the residents of Forks, Wash. "We're beginning to get into the second half of the film, which turns more into a horror story. The images of Bella -- trust me, it only gets more intense," Rosenberg says.

What you never expected to see: If some footage surprises fans, or doesn't conjure memories from Meyer's books, Rosenberg understands. "I think fans may be a little freaked out. There's some conflict with the wolves that they may not remember -- there's a lot of conflict in the book that's resolved with a conversation and we only hear about it. For this movie I was able to play off of that," she said.

New "Breaking Dawn" trailer released

Seriously, you guys: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in the new "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" trailer. Where do we even begin?

First, let us tell you that Tuesday afternoon saw the release of a full, juicy trailer for the first part in Bill Condon's epic conclusion to the vampire franchise. While we already know the thriller sees the marriage of Stewart's Bella and Pattinson's Edward, not to mention continued shirtless discontent from Lautner, some new gems can be found.

Vampire-on-werewolf fighting, for starters, as Edward and Bella struggle to protect their unborn half-vampire/half-human baby (their honeymoon is fruitful, y'all). We also get an awesome look (Look! Below!) at the likes of Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz fighting off some of the wolf pack.

Then there's the heartbreaking last dance between Lautner and Stewart, as his character Jacob sends her Bella off to be transformed from human to vampire.

"This is how I'll remember you," Jacob whispers. "Pink cheeks, heartbeat. You'd think I'd be used to telling you goodbye by now."

Say a big "I Mean!" with us, won't you? And stay tuned for plenty of "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" coverage as we all steamroll toward the Los Angeles world premiere in November.

Taylor Lautner relives 'best kiss' kiss from Robert Pattinson

Taylor Lautner at the MTV Video Music Awards

Taylor Lautner showed his dimples at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, but talked more about his lips -- specifically, an award-show moment in May when Robert Pattinson planted a big, old kiss on them.

At the MTV Movie Awards in June, Lautner's "Twilight: Eclipse" costars Pattinson and Kristen Stewart snagged the trophy for best kiss, and during their acceptance speech Rob dashed into the audience and lip-locked Taylor.

"Oh, I was definitely kissed by [Rob]," Lautner told MTV News. "It was quite a shocker."

We hear you, Taylor: You did nothing to warrant the smooch, but Rob definitely threw down the gauntlet. Can the "Abduction" star steal his back thunder back by one-upping Pattinson?

"I honestly have no idea," Lautner said. "I guess we'll just have to wait and see."

New 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' photos: Edward, Bella get cozier

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson with 'Breaking Dawn' director Bill Condon

"Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's Edward and Bella are steaming things up in the newest batch of set photos from "The Twilight Sage: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1."

Beware: Spoilers ahead.

Edward and Bella can be seen once again at their highly anticipated wedding, with the Cullen clan and between the sheets of their marriage bed. Their postmarital tryst brings on deadly consequences for the vampire-human couple and the ones they love in the final films, including Taylor Lautner's spurned Jacob Black.

Photos: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in 'Breaking Dawn'"It's a trip to watch the wedding scenes, especially," Stewart has said. "It was so volatile and emotional -- I was being such a crazy person."

But the pivotal scene that surely drove Twi-hards raging through the pages of Stephenie Meyer's final book was Renesmee's controversial conception, which pushes the newlyweds into parenting a supernatural hybrid. Surely the penultimate installment of the series is laden with emotions, which we're sure fans everywhere will share.

Academy Award-winning director Bill Condon directs the first of a two-part adaptation of Meyer's final book. It hits theaters Nov. 18.

Until then, click the pics for a peek at the newest stills from the "Breaking Dawn" set including some of the, ahem, other things Edward and Bella do on their honeymoon.

Kellan Lutz learned guitar from Rob Pattinson, Jackson Rathbone

Kellan Lutz

Robert Pattinson isn't shy about helping out his vampire clan: "The Twilight Saga" actor has been giving musical pointers to costar Kellan Lutz.

Lutz, the brawny Emmett in the vampire franchise, has been playing an instrument that Pattinson knows a thing or two about.

"I picked up the guitar now that I have some down time," Lutz told the Ministry at an in-store appearance Thursday at the Grove, where he unveiled new pieces from his Dylan George and Abbot + Main clothing lines.

"I got a couple of books and some iPad apps, but I get to work with Rob and Jackson [Rathbone] on all these movies, who are brilliant musicians," he said. "I get to learn from talented people."

Pattinson has been strumming and crooning for quite some time, even contributing some music to the first "Twilight" film. Rathbone is in the band 100 Monkeys.

Still, don't hold your breath for "Twilight: The Musical."

"I can't sing for crap," Lutz said, "but I enjoy picking up hobbies."

Robert Pattinson's sex-scene regret: Ruining such nice pillows

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart

Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen has had a lot he could feel guilty about in the course of "The Twilight Saga" -- hassling werewolves, luring his girlfriend into the life of the undead -- but it's what happened to the pillows that really upsets him.

Pattinson was dishing to EW about Edward's sex scene with Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1," which opens in November.

Making love to Bella while she's still human, he said, Edward resorts to some interesting tactics to avoid killing her. Like destroying their honeymoon bed.

"I wanted to have it as a line so much: 'I bit through all the pillows. Every. Single. One.' And then he'd start crying," Pattinson told EW. "By the way, that's what he should be ashamed of in the morning. All those beautiful pillows! Egyptian cotton! I ruined this bed!"

It's cool, Rob. Perhaps you can find other luxury gifts to compensate. Stewart was hardly concerned, as she was more jazzed about filming the wedding ceremony than capturing the boom-boom that followed.

"It's a trip to watch the wedding scenes, especially," she said. "It was so volatile and emotional -- I was being such a crazy person."
