Charlotte Ronson toasted by Nicole Richie, sis Samantha Ronson

Charlotte Ronson and her muses

Every artist has a muse, but designer Charlotte Ronson counts lots of Hollywood gals as her inspiration -- and luckily, they love a good party.

Nicole Richie and Charlotte's sister Samantha Ronson welcomed Kidada and Rashida Jones, Nicky and Paris Hilton, Lake Bell and Mindy Kaling to West Hollywood's Il Sole on Wednesday to celebrate Charlotte's new beauty collection, girly fare inspired by and named for her famous friends.

Richie glowed with a blond updo in a black romper with brass button detail, holding court at her table with the likes of Monet Mazur during a sit-down dinner in the eatery's private dining room. Rounding out the group were a mix of fashion folks and peeps from Sephora, where the line will be carried.

Though the beauty goods were inspired directly by ladies including Rashida, Richie and even the Ronsons' mother, Anne Dexter Jones, it turns out funny lady Bell wasn't among those tapped for a product name.

"What the hell?" Bell cracked.

So what would a Bell-inspired, say, lip gloss be called? Oh my -- turns out the name would include, um, something unprintable.

"'[Something Unprintable]. That's What I'm Talking About. Period.' That's what it would be called," Bell  said.

Quite a name, and perhaps we understand now why her concept wasn't included in the collection. But we'd totally wear that.

Seth MacFarlane hosts an Evening Affair, starring Rumer Willis and her new beau from 'Glee'

Rumer-willis-new-boyfriend How can you say no to a Beverly Hills bash thrown by $100-million-dollar man Seth MacFarlane? You can't, and neither could the luminaries who attended his Evening Affair over the weekend, presented by Night Vision Entertainment.

Kate Walsh, Bill Maher, Winona Ryder, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Molly Ringwald, Rashida Jones, Jeremy Piven, Chris Tucker, Stephen Dorff and David Arquette were among the partiers who came to catch MacFarlane on Saturday in his performing glory, with the help of a full orchestra.

Buzz around the bash was all about celeb-spawn Rumer Willis, who showed up with new "Glee" guy Chord Overstreet on her arm. Recently split from actor Micah Alberti, Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, wasn't shy at all about showing her affections for Overstreet.

"They held hands and shared kisses all night," an onlooker tells The Ministry.

After tearing up the dance floor, Walsh slipped off her high heels and chatted with Rose McGowan, while Ringwald bonded over Camacho cigars with Cuba Gooding Jr.

Mark Salling, also of "Glee," took in an acrobatic performance with Emmy winner Aaron Paul, sipping Svedka cocktails and lingering into the wee hours of Sunday.

What do you think of Rumer and her new man? Tell us in the comments section below.

'Star Trek' buds Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto reunite for Rashida Jones

Zachary quinto chris pine Actress Rashida Jones got a nice social beam-up Saturday in New York -- with a visit from "Star Trek" actors Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto.

The sci-fi friends -- Quinto with new blessings from Leonard Nimoy to prosper in the role of Mr. Spock -- braved the rain on the Upper West Side for a party at Beba restaurant, celebrating Jones' flick "Monogamy," which debuted earlier as part of the Tribeca Film Festival.

"Monogamy" costar Chris Messina chatted up Scott Speedman at the fete, hosted by Urban Daddy and Heineken.

At 675 Bar, the "Every Day" cast had a small gathering to celebrate that film's Tribeca showing. Lead Helen Hunt mingled and shared stories from the set, while costar Liev Schreiber cuddled up to his wife, Naomi Watts.

Lenny Kravitz's daughter, Zoe, was in attendance with her rumored beau, Ezra Miller.

Over in Midtown at the Breslin, "True Blood" vamp Alexander Skarsgard flashed his smile at the after party for "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll."

The British rock flick was lauded by the likes of MTV star Whitney Port and filmmaker Tarik Saleh
