'Nip/Tuck' star Dylan Walsh files for divorce from Joanna Going

Dylan Walsh files for divorce from Joanna Going Dylan Walsh, star of the series "Nip/Tuck," filed for divorce Friday from actress wife Joanna Going.

Walsh, who played Dr. Sean McNamara opposite Julian McMahon as Dr. Christian Troy on the FX plastic-surgery drama, has been married to Going since October 2004. According to the filing, he expects to be paying spousal support and wants joint legal and physical custody of daughter Stella, TMZ says.

Walsh also has two children with his first wife, actress Melora Walters.

Hey, Hollywood, you do realize it's the zero-percent death tax that expires at the end of the year, not the right to split with your spouse?

Why the big rush to pull the plug on wedded -- or even "High School Musical" -- bliss?

Wendie Malick, Kelly Carlson unleash wild horses on Capitol Hill

Carlson malick Note to Capitol Hill: If Kimber Henry nip-tucks into your office, it helps to be doing something cool.

Fortunately for Rep. John Conyers Jr. (D-Mich.), he was rocking out to John Coltrane when "Nip/Tuck" actress Kelly Carlson stopped by earlier this week.

She was there with actress Wendie Malick of "Just Shoot Me" fame, bringing attention to legislation (H.R. 503/S. 727) that would protect mustangs and burros in the American West by prohibiting certain conduct related to the slaughter of horses for human consumption.

Carlson, an avid equestrian who also participates in horse rescue, said Tuesday that she was more about speaking for her cause than about remembering the who's who of people she met.

AnnaLynne McCord is delighted and disgusted -- which rocks our 'Nip/Tuck' world

93913228PB004_Variety_s_3rd On TV, the comely AnnaLynne McCord does things like try to seduce her mother’s girlfriend’s ex-husband or publicly expose her sister for sleeping with her boyfriend.

In real life, the bad girl of “90210” and “Nip/Tuck” has better things to do. Like trash her famous peers for wasting their time in the spotlight with selfish pursuits rather than use it to promote a good cause.

“It disgusts me to hear about endless partying,” she told the crowd of 700 at Variety’s “Power of Youth” event at Paramount Studios on Saturday. “If you’re undeserving of your title, I pray it’s taken away from you and given to someone who’ll use it for the power of youth.”

McCord supports the Blind Project, a New York-based organization helping victims of sex trafficking in Southeast Asia. And while young paparazzi bait settle into first-class seats on flights to the tropics during the holidays, she and her sisters are spending Christmas volunteering in Phnom Penh.

That philanthropic spirit earned McCord a Variety Power of Youth award, along with the charity-minded Corbin Bleu, Miranda Cosgrove, Keke Palmer and Jesse McCartney.

But no one else quite displayed McCord’s fearless je ne sais quoi about the sorry state of much of young Hollywood.

"I’m really over it,” she said backstage. (Click onward for pics and more.)
