Charlotte Ronson toasted by Nicole Richie, sis Samantha Ronson

Charlotte Ronson and her muses

Every artist has a muse, but designer Charlotte Ronson counts lots of Hollywood gals as her inspiration -- and luckily, they love a good party.

Nicole Richie and Charlotte's sister Samantha Ronson welcomed Kidada and Rashida Jones, Nicky and Paris Hilton, Lake Bell and Mindy Kaling to West Hollywood's Il Sole on Wednesday to celebrate Charlotte's new beauty collection, girly fare inspired by and named for her famous friends.

Richie glowed with a blond updo in a black romper with brass button detail, holding court at her table with the likes of Monet Mazur during a sit-down dinner in the eatery's private dining room. Rounding out the group were a mix of fashion folks and peeps from Sephora, where the line will be carried.

Though the beauty goods were inspired directly by ladies including Rashida, Richie and even the Ronsons' mother, Anne Dexter Jones, it turns out funny lady Bell wasn't among those tapped for a product name.

"What the hell?" Bell cracked.

So what would a Bell-inspired, say, lip gloss be called? Oh my -- turns out the name would include, um, something unprintable.

"'[Something Unprintable]. That's What I'm Talking About. Period.' That's what it would be called," Bell  said.

Quite a name, and perhaps we understand now why her concept wasn't included in the collection. But we'd totally wear that.

Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg call it quits

Nicky_2 Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg have decided to end their longtime relationship.

A seemingly permanent fixture in Young Hollywood coupledom, the pair have been inseparable over years of professional and family happenings -- a stark contrast to the many loves of Nicky's sister Paris.

"There was no drama," a source told E!, "they started dating when they were very young. Travel and work schedules left them little time to spend together."

David is the son of DreamWorks Animation honcho Jeffrey Katzenberg, and serves as a producer for the MTV scripted series "The Hard Times of RJ Berger."

Hilton is a mini-mogul in her own right, with successful handbag and accessory collections abroad. The 27-year-old heiress has also served as spokeswoman for several international brands.

Hollywood toasts the new Resnick Pavilion at LACMA's 'Unmasking' gala

Tom Hanks Rita Wilson Lacma Resnick Pavilion

Saturday's Los Angeles County Museum of Art gala was one of the biggest nights to see and be seen on this year's social calendar, so naturally the gold and silver masks the museum handed out to guests at the entrance languished in their hands and on cocktail tables.

Resnick-pavilion-lacma LACMA had dubbed the evening "The Unmasking" because it celebrated the opening of the lavish $45-million Lynda and Stewart Resnick Exhibition Pavilion, named for the major donors and owners of Fiji Water and Pom Wonderful. And as the city's elite parted a sea of costumed performers from the John Burroughs High School, wearing 18th century European garb, to pour into the pavilion for cocktails, it was obvious that their fellow guests were nearly as compelling as the art and costume collections in adjoining rooms.

"You're divine," Barbara Davis -- widow of Marvin Davis, a former owner of 20th Century Fox -- cooed to Joan Collins after posing for pictures with her grandson, Brandon. "You're magnificent."

The younger set was represented, as well. Kim Kardashian (with mom Kris Jenner), Nicole Richie and Nicky Hilton mingled and greeted friends in the main gallery.  Fresh from a screening of his new film "Howl" in New York was actor James Franco. "House's" Olivia Wilde posed for paparazzi on the red carpet after arriving fashionably late -- but just in time for dinner and a performance by Christina Aguilera.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson entered the Resnick Pavilion deep in conversation with Garry Marshall and his daughter, while "The Hurt Locker" director, Kathryn Bigelow, and her date studied pictures on a phone outside on the terrace. Carole Bayer Sager, surrounded by friends in the gallery, later received a shout-out from the Canadian Tenors, who performed one of her songs during the dinner.

Casey Johnson not yet laid to rest back East; Tila Tequila still mourning quietly

Casey home There has been no funeral yet for heiress Casey Johnson, according to multiple sources contacted by people close to the Johnson family. Friend Nicky Hilton did hold a memorial service at her home last week, however.

Meanwhile, Casey's fiancée Tila Tequila was very upset about not being allowed to go to the funeral that she apparently didn't know had not been held: "I don't want to talk about the funeral," Tequila told E! Online on Sunday. "I wasn't allowed to go, and I am so upset. I can't sleep, and I am on suicide watch."

Though if her Twitter account is any indication, she might've been over that by Sunday night

"Ok I LOVEEEEEE feeling this happy again! YAYY I MISSED FEELING THIS WAY SOOOOO MUCH! WEEEE! Can u give me 3 more minutes 2 enjoy this? hehe"

This is the same Tequila who freaked out that Nicky and Bijou Phillips were after Casey's pet dogs so they could kill them and put them in Casey's casket to be buried with her.

Of course, 911 was called
