Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake 'platonically' grope

Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake grope at MTV Movie Awards Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake's rumor-squashing skills are a bit lacking, but their movie-promoting skills for the upcoming flick "Friends With Benefits" seem to be spot on.

Kunis and Timberlake's "platonic" gropes at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre continued the award show's awkward banter, kicked off by host Jason Sudeikis during the live telecast.

When the "Friends With Benefits" stars took the stage to present the award for best male performance (which, surprise, surprise, went to Robert Pattinson), the pair actually presented a failed attempt to prove that they are simply friends with benefits.

"You and I have never dated," said Timberlake, 30.

"No, no. We are like brother and sister," added Kunis, 27.

"Totally platonic relationship, which is why I can do this," Timberlake said as he groped the actress' breasts.

"And it's why I can do this," Kunis said, reciprocating with a grope of the singer/actor's crotch.

Um, yes. That actually happened. On television. Fittingly, Timberlake made a remark about who, or what, actually gave the best male performance -- and it had nothing to do with the nominees.

Kunis had previously told Ellen DeGeneres that it was difficult getting undressed in front of her costar.

"It's very awkward. I mean, the truth is, we got to have very uncomfortable scenes for two weeks," she said in December. "There's like 150 crew men watching, and you see each other's bits and pieces. The whole thing is just wrong!"

But, you know, groping is a whole 'nother thing, right?

What'd you think of the onstage bit -- hilarious or inappropriate? Does it make you want to see "Friends With Benefits," which hits theaters July 22? Sound off in comments.

Emma Watson will bring new 'Harry Potter' clip to MTV Movie Awards

Emma-watson

Emma Watson may have graduated from the wizarding world, but she'll bring a bit of "Harry Potter" magic to the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night.

Watson, who plays brainy witch Hermione Granger in all eight "Potter" films, will take a break from filming "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" to present a previously unseen clip from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," the final installment in the film franchise that has spanned a decade.

"Wizard-loving fans will be treated to a never-before-seen clip from the conclusion of the two-part motion picture event," MTV announced.

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" is up for a chunk of the evening's awards, including best movie, best male performance, best female performance (Watson), best villain (Tom Felton's Draco Malfoy), best fight (Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint vs. Death Eaters) and, of course, best kiss (Watson and Radcliffe.)

None of that's to say the "Potter" nominees are shoo-ins; they'll face some stiff competition with "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." The new "Potter" clip will share the spotlight with "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" teaser trailer, which is also making its debut at the awards.

Maybe it's the perfect venue for the wizard-lovers and the vampire-crazed to square off.

'Breaking Dawn' stars headed to MTV Movie Awards with teaser trailer [Video]

Edward and Bella on their 'Breaking Dawn' honeymoon "Breaking Dawn" is on the horizon -- the first bits of official footage are available in a new online promotional spot.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will attend the 2011 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday to introduce a teaser trailer for their legion of "Twilight Saga" fans.

In a commercial hyping the awards telecast, we get some snippets of what the teaser has in store -- nothing major, just an epic vampire wedding.

We get a taste of director Bill Condon's vision for the union of Pattinson's Edward Cullen and Stewart's Bella Swan, complete with Washington forest motif, antique bridal headpieces and a flash of that major diamond ring.

Look out for cameos from Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser, as well, and stay tuned to the Ministry for the latest "Breaking Dawn" news.

Snooki's Italian car accident: License lost; lawsuit possible

Snooki loses her license after crashing into a cop car in Italy Looks like the "Jersey Shore" gang might need to have their pasta delivered to the crib -- at least one cast member is no longer allowed to drive.

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was behind the wheel of a Fiat Multipla in Florence, Italy, on Monday afternoon when she crashed into the back of a police car (a police car, Snook?). Co-star Deena Cortese was in the passenger seat, as the whole gang is filming the current season of the MTV reality show in Italy.

The officers involved in the crash, a male and female, suffered minor injuries such as cuts and bruises, according to Us Weekly. Polizzi was taken into custody but not formally arrested. MTV Productions and the police confirmed that she wasn't under the influence.

So what's -- as the guidette would say -- the big freakin' deal? Polizzi automatically lost her privilege to drive in the country, and although she wasn't arrested, she could face civil charges from the officers hurt in the incident.

This hasn't been the only speed bump for "Jersey Shore" abroad -- the Us Weekly report also notes that the entire gang has amassed over 300 euros worth of parking violations. Not to mention emotional ones, as last week Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro got into a nasty brawl.

Taylor Swift debuts ‘Story of Us’ video [Poll]

Taylorswiftstory

Taylor Swift launched her new "Story of Us" video on MTV on Tuesday night, sparking fresh gossip over who inspired the love song. Swift, who famously wrote "Forever & Always" about ex Joe Jonas, confessed the song is definitely about a former flame.

"Any time I'm onstage or watching the music video, the first thing that comes into my mind is the person I wrote the song about," she told MTV. "It's like the first thing that you think of is the moment that inspired the song, which is that excruciating, awful moment when you run into an ex for the first time."

Could it be John Mayer, Taylor Lautner or even Lucas Till? So far the country star is mum about whom the "Story" is based on, but will offer a few details. "Afterward, I just felt so empty, like we were both fighting this silent war of pretending we didn't care that the other was there," she said. "And I went home, and I wrote this song about it."

The "Story of Us," off her "Speak Now" album, captures the spirit of her awards show encounter, but in a different setting. In the video the couple falls in and out of love in the Vanderbilt University library. Looking especially preppy in her Ivy League get-up, Swift turns up the on-screen angst -- big time.

Whom do you think the video is about?

'Jersey Shore's' Ronnie and The Situation reportedly brawl in Italy

Ronnie and Situation fight
"Jersey Shore's" Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino got into an all-out fistfight in Italy, according a report.

Though the cause of the Monday night brawl is unclear, it may have been sparked by a fight between Ronnie's on-again, off-again girlfriend Sammie Giancola, TMZ reported. All that Ron-Ron Juice must have gotten him amped because Sitch got pummeled quite a bit. We imagine their cameramen got it all on tape.

Jersey Shore cast in Italy Ronnie's knuckles were cut and bleeding and Sitch's eye was surrounded by red marks poorly concealed by a hoodie, the site reported. The two arrived separately at their apartment hours after the brawl. See the photos here.

The Situation has earned a reputation as "The Snitchuation" on the show because of his frequent tattletale tactics and instigating innuendos. Some "Shore" fans have probably been waiting for this moment for a while, but we're not sure if that warrants a beating.

The cast is shooting the fourth season of the hard-partying MTV reality show in their ancestral land, filming the series in Florence, Italy's Renaissance City. And Ronnie and Sitch aren't the only ones wreaking havoc in the old country.

Deena Cortese, the self-proclaimed "blast in a glass," was spotted plunging into Florence's Arno river after climbing a ledge, and the cast has incited a crosstown pizza battle, according to the New York Post. Florence's Mayor Matteo Renzi has barred the meatball-lovers from filming in bars, clubs and drinking in public. They also can't film at historic landmarks like the Uffizi Gallery and Boboli Gardens.

It remains to be seen how that will affect the next season.

Do you think "The Situation" deserved his beating? How do you think the next season of "Jersey Shore" will compare to previous seasons? Tell us in comments.

Anderson Cooper picks on Snooki for being Snooki

All the people who are paying Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi to be Snooki have been added to Anderson Cooper's "Ridiculist."

"Snooki is one impossibly lucky, unusually spunky, freakishly tan, beer-guzzling, juicehead-hugging, muscle-loving, Botero body, pint-sized moneymaking machine," Cooper said Tuesday on his CNN show, "Anderson Cooper 360.° (Watch the full rant above.)

News that she and her castmates are reportedly collecting $100,000 per episode for the fourth season of "Jersey Shore" prompted Cooper's tirade. He wasn't a fan of Snooki making $32,000 for her appearance at Rutgers University -- $2,000 more than author Toni Morrison -- or that she got paid $25,000 for club appearances. Guess he didn't realize the guidette was also getting her own spin-off.

He put the club fee less than delicately as the "Show Up and Throw Up Fee."

"$25,000 to show up and hopefully throw up because frankly if you go to a club to see Snooki, that's really all you want to see," he said.

The host played montages of Snooki sensibilities and compared her literature to Morrison's.

"Any juicehead will get some nut shrinkage. And bacne," he quoted from Snooki's book "A Shore Thing."

But the comments didn't seem to faze the pickle-loving meatball.

"Every1s askin me about Mista Anderstand Cooper. He called me freakishly tan AND I'm lucky? Gotta love this man! ..." she tweeted.

Word on the street is that the silver-haired fox himself hobnobs with the likes of "D-Lister" Kathy Griffin and Atlanta Housewife NeNe Leakes, and is a self-proclaimed reality television fan.

So, does anyone feel kind of bad for the Snooks that she was singled out for his diatribe instead of other absurdly popular reality stars like Kim Kardashian or Heidi Montag? Tell us in comments.

'Jersey Shore' spinoffs multiply: Snooki, JWoww are moving in together [Poll]

JWoww and Snooki will have a 'Jersey Shore' spin-off show together This post has been updated. See the note below for details.

Snooki and JWoww of "Jersey Shore" are moving in together! The ultra-tan duo said MTV is working on a spinoff project just for them.

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley had already been in cahoots about a  move-in before the network made it official.

"It's pretty much just the concept of me and Jenni being on our own without our roommates," Snooki told MTV News.

The third-season scene of the besties returning to JWoww's broken home with then-boyfriend Tom seemed a bit more real than usual "Shore" fare, so a spinoff almost seems natural.

"It was a concept before the show," JWoww said. "We legitimately just wanted to buy a house together. She wanted to get out of her dad's, and I wanted to move out of the home that everyone could see on TV, so they were like, 'Let's shoot it!' "

Perhaps they were getting sick of all the apocalyptic Ronnie and Sammi drama. The location for the 12-episode series has yet to be announced.

But these Seasiders aren't the only ones with a spinoff. Housemate DJ Pauly D (Paul DelVecchio) has his own 12-episode run -- cameras are set to capture the spike-haired stud's journey to become "one of the country’s most in-demand DJs."

His show is supposed to be like a "reality 'Entourage,' " according to our friends at Show Tracker. Perhaps mixed in with a lot more yelling of "CABS ARE HEEEERE!"

Britney Spears' 'Hold It Against Me' music video debuts [Video] [Poll]

Britney Spears "Hold It Against Me" video debuts The Britney Spears music video "Hold It Against Me" debuted Thursday night on MTV, finally providing visual accompaniment to the tune that dropped in January.

At that time, "Hold It Against Me," the first single from Spears' upcoming "Femme Fatale," seemed to do just fine without much critical love, debuting at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Singles chart. The video is (of course?) directed by Jonas Akerlund, the guy behind Lady Gaga's "Telephone."

Yes, there's product placement galore. Yes, there's Auto-Tune. But there's also Britney and some boys dancing in outfits that look like a fashionista's take on men's tighty whiteys, or maybe on their childhood Spider-Man underpants, and what's not to love there? Not to mention the crouching-tiger-hidden-Britney kickboxing sequence pitting the pop tart against herself -- in platform stilettos.

The song is catchy enough that we're going to have to immediately counter-program RuPaul's "Jealous of My Boogie," below, to reboot the iPod part of our brain -- so maybe the video has done its job effectively.

Wait, first we liked the Justin Bieber movie, and now we're finding Britney's comeback video catchy? Are we losing our edge? Given that we're already imagining an Adam Lambert remake of "Hold It Against Me," all signs point to "yes."

Natalie Portman likes Ashton Kutcher's parenting skills

Natalie Portman No Strings Attached Natalie Portman says she'd take parenting advice from "No Strings Attached" costar Ashton Kutcher.

The newly knocked-up actress told MTV News that Kutcher would come to their movie set with sweet stories about advice he gave his stepdaughters, which showed her that he was a committed parent to Demi Moore's kids.

Did we mention that everyone's all up in Portman's business these days?

Recently engaged to choreographer Benjamin Millepied, she oh-so-ungraciously included mention of their sex life in her Golden Globes acceptance speech.

The once-private starlet is basking in the limelight thanks to critical acclaim for playing a psycho-ballerina in "Black Swan." Honestly, we think awards should go to the actors who take on roles where they have to naturally pack on the pounds, then shed them by award season. Hear that, George Clooney, Jake Gyllenhaal and Matt Damon?

Pounds or no pounds, she's likely getting more awards if "Strings" doesn't ruin her chances, as "Norbit" did for Eddie Murphy. Her laugh has also taken on a life of its own.

"The weird thing is people knowing about something that's so private," she told MTV about her pregnancy. "But I mean, you get used to it. It's just wild to walk down the street and have a complete stranger be like, 'Congratulations!'"
