Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries have a prenup (Can you say 'duh'?)

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have a prenup

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have signed a much-discussed prenuptial agreement, it was revealed Wednesday in what might have been the day's largest bit of predictable breaking news.

The newlyweds, who tied the knot in Montecito on Saturday before friends, family and the cameras of E!, have agreed to protect their mutual assets against the seriously microscopic chance of divorce.

What's at stake? Kardashian's $35-million personal fortune, up against Humphries' NBA payday of $8 million to $16 million, according to THR.

The pair would be wise to protect their individual assets. If he continues to succeed in the NBA, Humphries would only see his salary climb, and Kardashian really knows how to make bucks on deals selling, um, the Kardashians. Of which there are many. Some of which can go awry. So this keeps him out of her business.

As a married woman, however, Kim will have to learn how to share -- something clearly not happening until after her People magazine cover. The bride is featured solo on the magazine, which reportedly spent $2.5 million for exclusive rights to the extravagant wedding pictures. It's almost unheard of that any celeb-wedding cover wouldn't also feature the groom.

Momager Kris Jenner, who ain't no fool when it comes to handling Kim's saturated image, has been here before with prenups.

Kim's sister Khloe wed Lamar Odom after the two were engaged for approximately the length of a "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" commercial break. That deal protected Odom's $33-million Lakers contract, but allowed Mrs. Odom access to a Lamar-funded joint account that pays all their expenses, plus an "annual lump sum" of her own.

So childish to call that an allowance.

Kris Humphries to join Kim Kardashian on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'

Kris Humprhies to join Kim Kardashian on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'

Kim Kardashian's basketball beau, Kris Humphries, will be joining her and her family on the sixth season of the reality-TV staple "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

Kris Humprhies to join Kim Kardashian on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Producers had teased the beginning of their relationship on spinoff show "Kourtney and Kim Take New York." Now her budding romance with the New Jersey Nets forward -- or, as Kim calls him, "the one" -- will be featured in the next 12 episodes of "Kardashians," E! announced.

Sounds serious. The two were recently rumored to be scoping out engagement rings by Neil Lane at a Kay Jewelers in New York. Kimmie, however, strikes us as a Harry Winston kind of girl ...

Sisters Khloé Kardashian (aka Mrs. Lamar Odom) and Kourtney Kardashian said they're hesitant to invest their emotions in their sister's new relationship. (Do the names Damon Thomas, Ray J and Reggie Bush ring a bell?) Humphries will join the reality dynasty, procreated by late and famed O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian, on a family vacation to the tropics to celebrate mom Kris and stepdad Bruce Jenner's 20th wedding anniversary.

The show will lead into the launch of the new reality series "Ice Loves Coco," which follows the love life of couple Ice-T and his wife, Coco. Watch the teaser for that gem.

The new season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" kicks off June 12 with Kourtney at odds with mother and manager Kris for turning their family into a business rather than remaining emotionally connected. Perhaps rightfully so? Kim earned an estimated $6 million last year under her mother's reign. Kourtney and Khloé made $2.5 million each.

Kourtney, who moves into a new home with baby daddy Scott Disick, also battles with her boyfriend about giving her mother a key to their new abode, and Kris isn't happy about her daughter wanting to have a second child out of wedlock.

Meanwhile, Khloé, who will have just ended her newlywed spinoff "Khloe and Lamar" with her Lakers hubbie, is shown managing her household with her sisters in addition to their DASH boutiques in Los Angeles, Miami and New York.

The rest of the brood, which includes brother Rob Kardashian, probably just sits there and looks pretty, though E! promises that he'll be bridging the gap between him and Disick since their falling out at his sister's scandalous birthday party. Younger sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner work their way back into their sisters' spotlight. Kim takes Kendall, an aspiring model, back to New York with her to help jumpstart her career, but little K is overwhelmed by her older sister's vigilant work ethic.

Drama, drama, drama.

Will you be tuning in?

Kim Kardashian upset she's on Turkish Cosmo cover

Kim Kardashian reportedly upset over Turkish Cosmopolitan cover Kim Kardashian is upset over yet another magazine cover: This time the half-Armenian reality television starlet is upset that an image of her from an international photo shoot appears on the cover of the April issue of Cosmopolitan in Turkey.

The problem: The photo, reportedly used without Kardashian's OK, appears on the Turkish mag's cover during the same month many commemorate the Armenian genocide that took place from 1915 to 1918.

"When I did this shoot for the international covers I had no idea that Turkey was planning to run my story on their cover THIS month, considering Genocide Remembrance Day is this month," the fourth-generation Armenian American wrote on her blog Monday, directing the spotlight instead to the Armenian Cosmo cover, which features an image of Kardashian from the same shoot.

"My Armenian heritage means a lot to me and I've been brought up to be incredibly proud of my family's background and culture so as an Armenian-American woman it is a huge honor for me to be on the first ever Armenian Cosmopolitan cover."

She added: "I have an amazing relationship with Cosmopolitan Magazine. World-over, Cosmo is known as a fun and inspiring magazine for women of all races, shapes, sizes, regardless of their political beliefs and I really hope that if I can bring awareness to the issue, then this in an accomplishment."

About 1.2 million Armenians were slain under the Ottoman Empire, which became the modern republic of Turkey. The Turkish government disputes that a genocide took place, saying instead that the killings were a crackdown on treason and political dissent, not an ethnic group. Armenia's Genocide Remembrance Day, a national holiday in that country, is April 24.

"Kim Kardashian is one of our favorite cover girls.  We were thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph her for the Cosmopolitan editions worldwide," Cosmo reps told TMZ.

The recent outrage comes on the heels of Kardashian's love-hate relationship with nude photos taken of her for a W magazine spread.

Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom deal with his-and-hers family drama on 'Khloe and Lamar' premiere

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom premiere their E! show 'Khloe and Lamar'

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's newlywed reality series, "Khloe and Lamar," is officially here.

Kardashian, known as the youngest Kardashian sister on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and "Kourtney and Khloe Take New York," and her Lakers forward hubby debuted their show Sunday on E! with the hope that it would attract more viewers bearing the Y-chromosome.

"This show is very different from 'Keeping Up' and the 'Take On' series because those shows are so female-driven," she told PopEater. "This show is very much male-driven. It's Lamar and my brother Rob who lives with us, it's very masculine in a lot of ways, there's a lot of NBA footage, locker room footage and also a lot of us. Lamar and I as newlyweds and learning about each other and experiencing a lot of firsts that happen on camera."

The couple, who recently launched a unisex fragrance called "Unbreakable," married in September 2009 after a whirlwind romance. Their inevitable E! show chronicles their newlywed life, brother Rob Kardashian moving in, friendship with pals Malika Haqq and Jamie Sangouthai and a bevy of baby-making problems.

The premiere episode highlighted Odom's daddy issues when his father, Joe Odom, surprised Kardashian at a book signing with her sister Kourtney Kardashian. Kourtney, who had been working on a campaign to get Lamar on the NBA All-Star team, grapples with how to get Joe back into her husband's life. Turns out the man is just trying to bum a few dollars off his wealthy son.

"My father is someone I'd do anything for," Lamar Odom said. "But he's someone I don't let get too close."

What'd you think of the premiere? Will you keep watching?

Kim Kardashian meets boyfriend Kris Humphries' parents

Happy 26th birthday to Kim Kardashian's boyfriend, Kris Humphries. And, as a gift, Lady Skechers Shape-Ups is going to meet your parents. Surprise!

Kardashian, who hasn't been lucky in love and recently swore off football-playing boyfriends, met the New Jersey Nets power forward's parents Saturday at STK, a popular Manhattan haunt.

Kim Kardashian at a New Jersey Nets game "This was more of a get to know the parents affair. ... Kim and his parents really seemed to hit off," a source told People magazine.

His parents and close friends came out for the birthday party and racked up a $900 tab, which the reality TV star graciously picked up. We guess she had a bit of pocket change from her steamy Skechers commercial that aired during the Super Bowl the next day?

The couple made their debut in December, and Kardashian has already been spotted attending some Nets games.

Will Kim K. do better with the NBA than the NFL? Here's to her lucking out like sister Khloe Kardashian, who tied the knot with Lakers forward Lamar Odom in 2009 after a six-week courtship.

Kim Kardashian had recently complained on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" that she was feeling left out because her sisters were planning on having kids at the same time, while she was still searching for Mr. Right.

So, here's to Kimmie moving forward with this forward.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom: Stop us if this sounds familiar ...

Khloe.jpgFirst, she got a wedding ring, then he got a championship ring -- and now there are tattoos involved?

Reality TV diva Khloe Kardashian and L.A. Lakers forward Lamar Odom are certainly knocking down those milestones. The fact that he just put his Manhattan Beach bachelor pad/Lakers frat house on the market for around $2.4 million seems almost anticlimactic.

Check out the tattoo pics on Khloe's blog -- where we learned that the decision was spontaneous, she says: "When we were at dinner [Saturday night], I just knew I wanted a tattoo for Lamar in the web of my hand, and then once we got to the shop we decided on getting each other's initials."

For those keeping score: Khloe is the sister who just got married. Kourtney Kardashian is the sister who's going to have a baby. And Kim Kardashian is the one who wants to be married and have a baby and really, really soon, please.

And, yes, sports fans, especially the few who haven't watched the "E! True Hollywood Story," Olympic medalist Bruce Jenner joined this bunch of his own free will. Perhaps he can give fellow jock Lamar Odom a few tips on keeping up with the Kardashians?

Oh, yeah -- did we mention that Kim's off-again, on-again beau is New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush

I'm seeing trends. Lots of trends.

'This Is It' for Michael Jackson's brothers -- and the Lakers and Clippers

 Jackson5new Jackson5old

Michael Jackson's brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy will indeed attend the world premiere of "This Is It" tonight at the Nokia Theatre in downtown L.A., Access Hollywood has learned.

But don't expect to see the little ones on the red carpet: Prince Michael Jr., Paris Michael Katherine and Prince Michael II, a.k.a. Blanket, have been invited to a private screening tonight on the Sony lot, according to TMZ.

Warning: MJ's concert film, which rolls at 6 p.m., isn't the only sold-out game in town tonight -- literally. The Lakers and Clippers face off across the street with a 7:30 start at Staples. But wait! It's also the night the Lakers will get their championship rings, at a 7:15 p.m. ceremony. Factor in the red carpet arrivals scheduled to start around 4 p.m. and ...

Well, good luck finding parking.

(If you wanna see the "This Is It" arrivals but don't want to face the madness, or can't, remember there will be a live streaming red carpet webcast on various websites, including the official MJ site and UStream.)
