Ashley Greene, Joe Jonas support Kellan Lutz at 'Meskada' premiere

Kellan-lutz-meskada-premiere-12012010-21-820x1135 Lots of love in the air in Hollywood on Tuesday night: Kellan Lutz got some support from fellow "Twilight" cast member Ashley Greene for the premiere of his new flick "Meskada," and Greene in turn brought her beau Joe Jonas.

At Voyeur in West Hollywood, filmmakers and stars toasted the flick -- about a murder in a midwestern town -- with pomegranate cocktails and schmoozing.

Lutz, rocking his dark Emmett Cullen 'do and a Simon Spurr suit, caught up with the Ministry about his busy few weeks shooting "Breaking Dawn" and promoting "Meskada." The evening also marked a celebration of the holiday issue of YRB Holiday issue, for which Lutz is coverboy.

"I've shot one scene," Lutz said of the epic conclusion to the vampire saga. "You know, it's such a big movie and we're all cogs in this giant machine. But [director] Bill Condon is amazing. He makes everything feel very personal."

Speaking of personal, Lutz was recently featured in People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive issue -- showing off his Calvin Klein-worthy bod.

"My grandparents love throwing me under the bus," he laughed about the well-received issue. "They carry a copy around and show their friends."

On a recent visit to Pocahontas, Iowa, his family hosted nearly the whole town to meet the star.

"I basically signed stuff for hours. It was great. It makes the family really happy."

Speaking of happy, his "Twilight" sister Greene looked plenty pleased with Jonas. The couple walked through the venue hand-in-hand, chatting up industry types, before dipping to a private table in back.

Filming on "Breaking Dawn" will continue into 2011, after which Lutz will promote "Love, Wedding, Marriage," directed by Dermot Mulroney, then the blockbuster "Immortals" with Mickey Rourke and Frieda Pinto

Kellan Lutz already has a 'Breaking Dawn' date lined up

Kellan-lutz-win-a-date As if Kellan Lutz (and all of this) would have any trouble finding a date after his split from AnnaLynne McCord — one lucky fan will be set up for an entire evening with the actor.

To mark the Dec. 4 DVD release of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," Eclipse gum is taking submissions from fans, 18 and older, who must share their top less-than-fresh-breath moments.

If the task is a bit embarrassing, the reward more than compensates — the winner will nab a one-night trip for two for an "Eclipse" viewing with Lutz in Baton Rouge, La., where "Breaking Dawn" is currently filming.

Any takers? Once you catch your breath, tell us your ideal date with Kellan in comments below.

Kellan Lutz and AnnaLynne McCord call it quits

AnnaLynne McCord and Kellan Lutz break up

After two years of on-and-off romance, actors Kellan Lutz and AnnaLynne McCord have broken up.

The split occurred about a month ago, according to website Gossip Cop, and was flagged by celeb weekly Life & Style after the pair were spotted partying separately for Halloween.

The "Twilight Saga" star partied at Mur.mur in Atlantic City's Borgata, while McCord was with rumored new fling Aaron O'Connell at Lavo in Las Vegas.

In June, Lutz told the Ministry that he'd love to settle down with the right girl -- but only for the right reasons.

"I love marriage. I really want to be married and have it last for the right reasons and know that she’s the one for me," he said. "And I want to do it out of love, not insecurities or dependence."

McCord stars on the CW's "90210." Lutz and the rest of his undead clan are descending on Louisiana to film the final two installments of "The Twilight Saga."

Jane Lynch blends in, Kellan Lutz goes to the dogs at VH1's Do Something Awards

Jane-lynch-and-clones

What's better than Jane Lynch?

A zillion Jane Lynches.

VH1's Do Something Awards for people committed to social change was like a dream for Lynch lovers. The show, broadcast live Monday from Hollywood's Palladium, opened with the "Glee" star surrounded by clones, kind of like the Robert Palmer girls — but instead of puffy red lips and minis, they were wearing black tracksuits and particularly wiggy blond wigs. Indeed, there were Janes as far as the eye Kellan Lutz at the VH1 Do Something Awards could see, enough, in the original's words, to make "my narcissistic dreams come true."

Except for one rebel.

"That's Jennifer Saurenman," Jennifer Saurenman whispered as she walked by the Ministry (we were outed by our notebook) in full Jane Lynch drag.

OK, so there were a zillion Janes and at least one Jennifer acting the part of Jane. Not to mention a bunch of stars who came to present (Paula Abdul, Megan Fox, Demi Lovato) or accept (Snoop Dogg, Do Something for the Kids; Joe Jonas on behalf of the brothers, Do Something Music Artist; Christina Applegate, Do Something Kick Ass for Survival) or both (Kathy Griffin, Do Something Comedian).

The Ministry's favorite celeb of the evening was "Twilight" hottie Kellan Lutz, who picked the Do Something for Animals Award. Griffin presented the award — a golden sneaker with Mercury-like wings — inside a pen of barking dogs that suddenly materialized onstage. Noting his "incredibly awesome ...

Star sightings: Kellan Lutz dials in, Brooklyn Decker hearts the Dave Matthews Band

Kellan-lutz-samsung

While Mel Gibson and Lindsay Lohan take up headline space and, like, all of your time, we've got to reward some of the well-behaved celebs who've been out and about lately.

Starting with "Twilight Saga" hunk Kellan Lutz, who popped up at the Express Matt Leinart Foundation Celebrity Bowl on Thursday, where he mingled with the likes of Leinart, Chris Bosh, Reggie Bush and "The Bachelorette" Ali Fedotowsky.

Lutz, just back from the Toronto set of "Immortals," scored a Samsung Galaxy S smartphone and hit the lanes with Leinart -- flexing his muscles in attempts to intimidate the athlete.

Across town at Beverly Hills' Avalon Hotel, Details magazine and K-Swiss toasted their collaboration with "Big Love" actor Douglas Smith.

On Wednesday evening, well-heeled gals turned up for Lia Sophia's preview of its Lanaya II jewelry collection. Giuliana Rancic, Brooke Mueller, Lo Bosworth and Stephanie Pratt stopped by the swanky Sunset Tower Hotel to gab and grab some jewels.

Speaking of scoring -- stars of the ESPYs stopped by a gift lounge in honor of the ceremony on Tuesday. Brooklyn Decker picked up Sportiqe Apparel T-shirts for herself and husband Andy Roddick, featuring the Dave Matthews Band. The model indicated she and Roddick would rock them to Matthews' Los Angeles show on Friday.

Kellan Lutz ponders the brass ring for 'Love, Wedding, Marriage'

Kellan lutz For a budding action star who's had about five minutes off in the last six months, Kellan Lutz may be a lot closer to the aisle than you think.

Blame "Love, Wedding, Marriage," the romantic comedy he just wrapped with costar Mandy Moore from Chydzik Media Group.

"It really does kind of open my eyes as to what’s important in marriage and what keeps people together," Lutz said of the flick, which features his first romantic leading-man turn, as a straight-laced newlywed.

"I love marriage. I really want to be married and have it last for the right reasons and know that she’s the one for me. And I want to do it out of love, not insecurities or dependence."

Lutz is dating "90210" actress AnnaLynne McCord, but of late has been laser-focused on his movie multitasking. This month sees Lutz promoting "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" and filming the Greek mythology blockbuster "Immortals."

Given his super-fit physique, the action comes easy -- he got through "Love, Wedding, Marriage" with the help of Dermot Mulroney.

Mulroney, whom Lutz calls "the king of romantic comedies," makes his directorial debut with this film, about a newlywed marriage counselor (Moore) whose parents are splitting up.

"It’s a perfect choice for his debut," Lutz said, appreciative of Mulroney's help with the sometimes-cheesy conventions of the genre.

"He’s like, 'Kellan, remember when we talked during rehearsal. This is when you have to throw out that cheesy line and I’ll make it work as a director.' Thank God!" Lutz said.

Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene strike 'Breaking Dawn' deals

Ashley-green-deal-web When "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" hits the screen, it'll be with the Cullen family intact, now that Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene are signed on for the rest of the franchise.

Greene and Lutz -- who had held out for higher paychecks on what will be either the fourth film in the series or the fourth and fifth -- can expect checks in the neighborhood of $1.25 million a pop, according to the Hollywood Reporter, which says the deals were wrapped up late Tuesday night "after a week of tense negotiations."

"The studio realized how valuable Ashley and Kellan are to the franchise and did what they needed to do to keep them," a source "close to the situation" told the New York Post. How that squares with earlier reports that the two were seeking more like $4 million per film, well -- isn't it best when both sides leave the table feeling as if they won?

Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene playing hardball over two-part 'Breaking Dawn'? [poll]

Kellan-web Summit Entertainment and "Twilight" fans may be learning how problematic it can be to add just one more after getting a good deal on that first four-pack.

The studio's "Breaking Dawn" problem: Some of the names further down the cast list -- think Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene -- aren't yet on board for the end of the sweeping saga, THR Esq. reports.

Though fans may like the idea of a fifth "Twilight" installment, with the "Breaking Dawn" book in two parts instead of one, the parties involved aren't exactly loving contract negotiations for a fifth film, THR Esq. says. Makes sense -- with only four books in the saga, a fifth movie wasn't anticipated until writers started turning "Breaking Dawn" into a screenplay, and at that point the notion of higher paychecks became a reality.

Says THR Esq:

"[W]e're told that the offers from Summit -- which are said to be at least 10 times what the actors made on the first movie -- were deemed 'offensive' given the mega-money the franchise has generated."

Ashley-greene-web2  Fifth-film deals are nearly done for leads Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, THR Esq. says as well as director Bill Condon. But with everyone's salaries far more than they were for the first four films, Summit is looking at a very different budget than the  franchise began with. It's even possible that filming might move from Vancouver to Louisiana, MTV reports, to save money.

In the wake of their "Twilight" success, Lutz has a lot of projects hopping and Greene has a few -- but will these Cullen kids become the next Rachelle LeFevre, whose role went to Bryce Dallas Howard after Summit decided the original actress wasn't worth the money demanded?

And if that happens, how would fans react?

Weigh in on our unscientific online poll, if you would ...
