Sneak peek: Charlie Sheen roast is done, ready to be served

Charlie Sheen roast preview

Like one of his own torpedoes of truth, Charlie Sheen is barreling down the promotional pike for his upcoming Comedy Central roast.

Taken to task by the likes of Kate Walsh, roastmaster general Jeff Ross and newcomers including Anthony Jeselnik, Sheen was a good sport at the taping Saturday at the Sony Pictures lot in Los Angeles.

"How much blow can Charlie Sheen do? Enough to kill two and a half men," cracked Jon Lovitz, his being among the mildest of countless references to Sheen's drug use, his predilection for escorts and his history of violence.

In first-look video from the special, to air Sept. 19 on Comedy Central immediately after CBS' reboot of "Two and A Half Men" starring Ashton Kutcher, Ross takes a jab at Charlie's family.

"You make your own father ashamed that he shares the same fake name as you," he said.

What's not to roast? Our pals over at Show Tracker have a peek at Sheen's entrance.

Taylor Swift, Drew Barrymore, Ellen DeGeneres celebrate CoverGirl's 50th anniversary

Drew Barrymore Covergirl 50th anniversary It was all easy, breezy, beautiful CoverGirls -- such as Taylor Swift, Drew Barrymore and Queen Latifah -- in West Hollywood on Thursday night. A bevy of the brand's spokesgals and celebrity admirers turned up to celebrate the makeup line's 50th anniversary.

At Boa, the swank steak joint just below Soho House, cocktails and cookies were passed to the likes of "Glee" stars Amber Riley and Cory Monteith, a sherbet-colored Barrymore (right), Justin Bieber's lady friend Selena Gomez and "Private Practice" star Kate Walsh.

Covergirl 50th anniversary

Without question, the room revolved around Portia and Ellen DeGeneres, who were all smiles and super affectionate as they worked the room.

Just as affectionate but perhaps less sought after were a sweet Kendra Wilkinson and football-playing hubby Hank Baskett (her post-baby body is a solid 10 by now, FYI). Click the picture of them, above, to see more from the red carpet.

Kyle Richards of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" schmoozed near a CoverGirl photo booth with an army of seasoned models -- such as Niki Taylor, Rachel Hunter and Cheryl Tiegs, and reality girls Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port

The shindig came on the heels of the People's Choice Awards after party at the Conga Room -- a first stop for folks such as Walsh -- where Ultimat vodka toasted nominees and winners.

Seth MacFarlane hosts an Evening Affair, starring Rumer Willis and her new beau from 'Glee'

Rumer-willis-new-boyfriend How can you say no to a Beverly Hills bash thrown by $100-million-dollar man Seth MacFarlane? You can't, and neither could the luminaries who attended his Evening Affair over the weekend, presented by Night Vision Entertainment.

Kate Walsh, Bill Maher, Winona Ryder, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Molly Ringwald, Rashida Jones, Jeremy Piven, Chris Tucker, Stephen Dorff and David Arquette were among the partiers who came to catch MacFarlane on Saturday in his performing glory, with the help of a full orchestra.

Buzz around the bash was all about celeb-spawn Rumer Willis, who showed up with new "Glee" guy Chord Overstreet on her arm. Recently split from actor Micah Alberti, Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, wasn't shy at all about showing her affections for Overstreet.

"They held hands and shared kisses all night," an onlooker tells The Ministry.

After tearing up the dance floor, Walsh slipped off her high heels and chatted with Rose McGowan, while Ringwald bonded over Camacho cigars with Cuba Gooding Jr.

Mark Salling, also of "Glee," took in an acrobatic performance with Emmy winner Aaron Paul, sipping Svedka cocktails and lingering into the wee hours of Sunday.

What do you think of Rumer and her new man? Tell us in the comments section below.

Divorce in bulk: Kate Walsh, Anna Torv and Mark Valley -- and birds

"Private Practice" star Kate Walsh, late of "Grey's Anatomy," is officially divorced after 14 months of marriage to movie exec Alex Young, TMZ reports.

"Fringe's" Anna Torv and former costar Mark Valley are splitsville too, after 16 months together, People says. Valley is now the star of "Human Target."

And in "The Bird Detective," a book to be released this week in Canada, it's revealed that although some birds do in fact mate for life, many songbirds get "divorced" all the time, for selfish reasons including stepping up in the word for better food and shelter, or hooking up with a bird who's more colorful, or just a better singer.

Divorce rates range from 99% in the greater flamingo to zero in the wandering albatross, ABC News reports.

You make of that what you like.

The real Kate Walsh likes sea turtles -- and isn't your Facebook friend

KateKate Walsh, the former "Grey's Anatomy" star who spun off into "Private Practice," has cautioned fans that she's being impersonated on Facebook, ContactMusic.com reports.

Seems a neighbor got upset when Walsh didn't show up for a dinner date she'd accepted -- via Facebook.

No offense to Kate Walsh the singer on Facebook, or the Kate Walsh on Facebook who's a fan of Freeze Pops, bubble wrap and Red Bull (we think we'd like her, actually).

Hints that this Facebook page might not be a direct connect to the actress? It's not private in any way. It has no posts about Kate. And its only information is a link to a cheesy "Kate Walsh" Web page that's loaded up with Google ads.

Hint that people are suckers? Fake Facebook Kate has more than 8,500 friends!

Just shoot us now, OK?

Back to the real actress, who appeared on David Letterman's show Wednesday night rocking a "futuristic flight attendant" vibe. Hey, we liked the blue dress. But we did expect her to say "buh-bye" to Dave when the interview ended.

Anyway, the real Ms. Walsh does work with the group Oceana on behalf of sea turtles, and after hanging out underwater within inches of one in Hawaii, we think that's cool. (No touching the turtle! Just admiring!)

Click to the jump for video of Kate swimming with sea turtles. She looks way better than we do in a wetsuit top and bikini bottoms.
