Jennifer Love Hewitt and boyfriend Alex Beh have split

Jennifer Love Hewitt, Alex Beh break up

Jennifer Love Hewitt and her director-boyfriend Alex Beh have split after dating for less than a year.

The couple called it quits about a month ago, a source told E! News. Though the reason for the split is unclear, the 32-year-old "Ghost Whisperer" star told Ellen DeGeneres earlier this year that she had already picked out three wedding rings for her future husband to choose from, whoever he may be. Um, could that have been it?

"She's doing fine," Hewitt's rep told People.

With Jamie Kennedy, Carson Daly, John Mayer and former fiancé Ross McCall on her list of exes, the author of "The Day I Shot Cupid" is living up to her book's title -- but not quite living up to her middle name.

She and Beh were set to costar in "Warren," a film he is also directing and producing that was supposed to start shooting in Chicago this spring. She was supposed to play his ex-girlfriend in the film, E! reported. Fitting, no? Whether the film's fate will mirror the couple's was unclear.

Hewitt, however, is set to appear in an upcoming episode of FX's Betty White sitcom, "Hot in Cleveland."

Sightings: Jennifer Love Hewitt gets slim, Lauren Conrad lunches

Jennifer Love Hewitt Had your fill of awards coverage? Let the Ministry catch you up on celeb whereabouts off the red carpet.

Lauren Conrad recently had a lunch date with beau (but not fiance) Kyle Howard. The pair had a casual meal at Whole Foods Market in Westwood. She scooped from the salad bar, and he indulged in some sushi. Despite the low-key locale, romance is still alive -- Howard picked up the tab.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has been mindful of what she's eating. Spotted a few weeks ago at the Slim-Fast 3-2-1 booth at "Access Hollywood's" and On 3 Production's "Stuff You Must ..." Golden Globes lounge, the actress revealed her interesting secret for looking her slimmest on the red carpet: chicken broth ice cubes.

At the same space, Jane Lynch stopped by the NB TrueBalance toning shoes booth and, in true Sue Sylvester fashion, put expert trainer Harley Pasternak through his paces by sitting on his back -- while he did push-ups.

Across the pond in London town, Brit "it" girl Gemma Arterton attended a party at One Mayfair for fashion house G-Star Raw.

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' premiere pictures from the red -- er, black -- carpet

Kristen Stewart at the Twilight Eclipse premiere

Finally! After building up steam for months, the supernatural circus train that is "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" pulled into the station with the movie's premiere Thursday night at L.A. Live, reuniting Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the cast amid throngs of screaming fans.

Eclipse-photo-gallery-referTwi-hards who'd been camping out for days lined the red carpet -- OK, it was a black carpet, matching the campers' wristbands -- along with media types from all over the world.

Hot topics on the carpet: Love and mad appreciation for the fans, and lots of war stories from the six weeks of fight training and physical conditioning the actors had to go through as part of the production.

Celebs on the carpet but not in the film included Jennifer Love Hewitt, Alex Rodriguez, Kristi Yamaguchi, Ron Artest, Quinton Aaron, Amber Rose, Jaden Smith and sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian.

Also on the scene: "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, representing the more literary aspects of the franchise, and actresses Annalynne McCord and Jennie Garth, accompanying Cullen family members Kellen Lutz and Peter Facinelli, respectively.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Heather Locklear, Hayden Panettiere -- who would you save? [poll]

Jen-love-hewitt-web The TV networks' fall-lineup announcements have been brutal for the likes of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, whose "Ghost Whisperer" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine" got whacked -- and the death of dreams, even if they're not our dreams, makes the Ministry sad.

But, "American Idol" does a save -- what if we could give the Michael Lynche treatment to someone in television's scripted domains?

Heather Locklear and pals such as Michael Rady and Shaun Sipos have been set off to sea on the "Melrose Place" ice floe, marked as the only scripted series not returning to the CW.

Add to that "Ugly Betty's" America Ferrera, who got some notice and wrapped it up in April; Courtney B. Vance and Joseph Fiennes from "FlashForward," who should have known the future looked bleak; and the whole "Heroes" crew, among them Hayden Panettiere, Zachary Quinto, Ali Larter and Milo Ventimiglia.

We're putting Alyssa Milano on the list over her nixed "Romantically Challenged," but somehow we think the top-notch tweeter is going to be just fine no matter what.

Heck, we could even extend the competition to Campbell Brown over at CNN, but that ...
