Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony: A rocky road to their split?

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony may have been looking cozy, but talk is bubbling up that the two were arguing "nonstop" during the months leading up to the end of their marriage.

Lopez and Anthony, who announced Friday that they would divorce, reportedly clashed over personal and professional issues -- that according to a bevy of unnamed sources piping up in the wake of the breakup.

The "Hawthorne" actor allegedly tried to call the shots over Lopez's wardrobe choices for an Us Weekly photo shoot last year, the mag said, shooting down one of her choices as "too sexy and unbecoming for a 40-year-old mother of two." One Us source called him a "dominating husband."

There are those who tell a happier story. One "American Idol" source told E! News that Lopez was devoted to her husband, treating his professional opinions as if they were coming from a manager, and that the two were never seen fighting. But a source close to the couple saw it differently, telling E!, "He was all over her all the time -- about everything -- and I know she tried very hard, and for a long time, to act like it didn't bother her, but I know it did. A lot."

About the couple's 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme: In the short term they will be hanging with mom for a bit in Atlanta while she's filming "What to Expect When You're Expecting," Life & Style said.

After the couple announced their split, there were reports linking Lopez romantically to William Levy, the hunk in her "I'm Into You" music video. Levy's rep, however, told TMZ that the "only relationship there was or is, is a professional relationship. That's all there's ever been."

Moving on to the Ben Affleck angle, which has nothing to do with infidelity and perhaps little to do with anything: J. Lo's mom allegedly sought advice on Jen's behalf last week from Affleck, whom Lopez dumped in 2004 after an 18-month engagement. Via e-mail, he "wished her well and offered what he could," an Us source said. Mmm-kay.

On the other hand, for years there has been speculation about Lopez worrying Anthony was unfaithful -- but a People connection said he had been faithful and supportive, and that the rest is just talk.

"They started to see life differently," the source said.

Marc Anthony gets to flirt, Jennifer Lopez gets to work after split

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are moving on after their divorce

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's split has many fans reeling, but life moves on for the celebrity pair.

The two dropped a bombshell Friday, announcing they had decided to end their marriage after more than seven years, saying it "was a very difficult decision" and "we have come to amicable conclusion on all matters."

So what's next? For Anthony, it was a Saturday night concert in Colombia that included some flirting with female audience members.

"They're saying I'm single," he told the crowd, eliciting cheers of the female variety. Blowing kisses at adoring women during his set, the crooner even singled one out and shouted, "Mamacita!"

As for Lopez, she's on her way to sing at a wedding (ouch) in Ukraine on Tuesday. Tapped by a billionaire to perform at his nuptials, Lopez will allegedly earn more than a million bucks for the gig.

The duo are parents to fraternal twins Max and Emme, 3. Following end-of-summer obligations, Lopez may or may not return to "American Idol," while Anthony has a recurring role on TNT's Jada Pinkett-Smith led drama "Hawthorne."

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony to divorce

Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony split up

Forget whether Jennifer Lopez will be getting back on "Idol" -- what's not up for speculation is that Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony will be getting a divorce.

"We have decided to end our marriage," they said Friday in a joint statement first reported by People. "This was a very difficult decision. We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters."

The couple, parents to 3-year-old fraternal twins Max and Emme, were married in a low-key 2004 ceremony at her Beverly Hills home. They had renewed their vows in 2008, and again last year. The "American Idol" judge even brought her hubby to work more than once, capping the show's season with a hot joint performance featuring Sheila E. on drums (see the video below).

This was the second marriage for Anthony and the third for Lopez, who before hooking up with longtime friend Anthony also was engaged to Ben Affleck; "Bennifer" broke up in 2003. She also famously dated Sean "P. Diddy" Combs for a couple of years back in the day. Anthony and Lopez were married days after his divorce was finalized.

They added Friday that this was a "painful time for all involved," and asked that their privacy be respected.

So, wow, that's one way to steal the ol' Carmageddon spotlight. Not to mention shed light on why J.Lo went stag to meet the royals at the "Brits to Watch" event last weekend. Guess Maria Shriver had dibs on the Friday heading into the 4th of July weekend?

Ryan Seacrest assembles Lady Gaga, Coldplay, John Mayer and more for online concert

RyanseacrestOne would likely need Ryan Seacrest's Rolodex to assemble a roster of superstars for a two-day, online streaming music festival -- so it's probably best that the host has taken it upon himself to do just that.

Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Sting, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Nicki Minaj, John Mayer and the Black Eyed Peas are among those set to perform at the Las Vegas music festival Seacrest is spearheading with iHeartRadio.

Seacrest has also invited Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, Kenny Chesneyand David Guetta for the digital to-do, set for Sept. 23-24 at the MGM Grand.

Lopez, from Seacrest's "American Idol" family, showed up on the "Today" show Monday to join in announcing the event, with talk turning to another announcement folks are waiting to hear from her: whether she'll as a judge on the Fox singing competition.

"I have no announcement to make as of this moment, but I promise ... you'll be the first to know," she teased.
