Jason Segel offers himself up for your pleasure -- and would you bring a friend? [Updated]

Why should we pay attention to sophisticated music? The kind of "passionate and fragile acoustic music" that conveys feelings of deep, romantic love, even if you can't dance to it?

Because sometimes a movie star will show up right in the middle of it all and sing a song about how he'd be willing to have sex with you. And maybe your girlfriend too. If, you know, you're a girl. 

In a surprise appearance last night at the Wiltern Theatre, Jason Segel of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" fame did just that, with Swell Season.

Gave out a contact phone number too.

[Updated at 10:22 a.m. Friday] Looks as if Jason's seeking to draw from as wide a pool of sex-me-up applicants as possible -- he repeated his performance at Swell Season's Thursday night show. A for effort, Mr. Segel!
