Marston Hefner, Hef's son, accused of assaulting Playmate

Marston Hefner, not shown, is Hugh Hefner's son

Marston Hefner, Hugh Hefner's son, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of domestic violence against girlfriend Claire Sinclair, the 2011 Playmate of the Year.

Marston Hefner was released on $20,000 bond in the wee hours Monday. Pasadena police had responded to a domestic assault call and, upon arrival, determined Sinclair had suffered minor injuries consistent with an assault, L.A. Now reported.

The 21-year-old, Hef's first son with Kimberley Conrad, and 20-year-old L.A. native Sinclair, born Clairissa Irene Riccio, reportedly live together in a Pasadena apartment, where he was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic assault. She is seeking a temporary restraining order against him, according to L.A. Now

Sinclair, who bills herself as a pinup on her retro-chic official website, told E! News that she doesn't want to press charges, despite the restraining order.

"All I want is for Marston to give a public apology," she said Monday, "and I want him to get psychiatric help. I want him to admit that he did hit me more than once."

Hugh Hefner, who on Sunday night was rocking a post-Grammys party at the Playboy mansion, hosted by Diddy, retweeted a picture of himself, his girlfriends and Sinclair at a Music Cares event on Saturday.

He released a statement regarding the arrest, according to TMZ, saying, "If they care about each other, they'll patch it up."

TMZ also posted a picture of Sinclair, only this one was from after the alleged assault. It shows her with a bruised arm.

Lindsay Lohan nude spread for Playboy is leaked

Looks like Lindsay Lohan's full monty has been revealed early -- and not in Playboy's glorious glossy form.

Lohan's full spread hit the Internet on Friday after a shot of her cover was tweeted a few days before, trumpeting the arrival of her nude photo shoot for Hugh Hefner's magazine.

Inspired by Tom Kelly's famous portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Lohan rocks platinum blond hair and a pair of pumps (and nothing else) draped across red velvet. Hefner told fans that the Marilyn tribute was his idea. "I thought it would make it truly memorable," he wrote.

"Sex and sexuality are a part of nature and I go along with nature. I think Marilyn Monroe once said that," Lohan reportedly told the mag.

Hefner certainly approves of his cover star.

"Lindsay Lohan was the top search name on the Internet yesterday. Her issue goes on sale late next week. Hot. Hot. Hot," the mogul tweeted.

The magazine's street date was moved up to next Friday, Dec. 16, in response to the nude photos leaked online. Now the magazine will be available the day after Lohan's appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' daytime talk show, which is where she was originally set to unveil the magazine's cover. But that plan was upset when the cover leaked this week as well.

The photos of Lohan have had their (predictable) share of criticism since going online. Most have commented on the amount of Photoshopping done to the pictures. As one person said in a tweet directed at Hefner, "nice washed out pictures of that ginger .... i wonder what she looks like in real lighting .... possibly a gremlin?"

Will you pick up a copy of Lindsay's Playboy? Tell us in comments.

Crystal Harris to auction off engagement ring from Hugh Hefner

Hugh Hefner with the bullet he dodged, aka Crystal Harris

Crystal Harris, Hugh Hefner's 25-year-old runaway bride, is putting her 3.39-carat engagement ring up for auction next month.

That would be the engagement ring that Harris tried to give back to Hefner in June after she practically left him at the altar -- a trinket he would not accept, though the 85-year-old was cool with her returning their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie.

Also the same ring Harris took into a La Jolla pawn shop for an appraisal about a week after their wedding was to have taken place, TMZ said.

And, yes, the exact ring that was touted as a $90,000 sparkler when Hef slipped it on Harris' finger last December, now being advertised as "A Diamond Ring" that Christie's expects to unload in October for $20,000 to $30,000.

As anyone who's tried to get their money out of an orphaned engagement diamond knows, that brutal discount sounds juuuuuuuuust about right.

So, yeah, kids: If the piece-of-history, 33.19-carat Elizabeth Taylor diamond is a bit out of reach in the $2.5 million to $3.5 million range, or that auction's December date is simply too long of a wait, Crystal's runaway rock may have your name on it.

It's sort of a piece of history too, right?

Hugh Hefner labels Crystal Harris 'runaway bride' on July Playboy cover

July Playboy, runaway bride edition Hugh Hefner clearly knows how to put the "good" in goodbye: Bold enough to slap his scantily clad future missus Crystal Harris onto the cover of the upcoming July Playboy, the born-again bachelor is now boldly slapping on a warning label of sorts.

"Recent events call for a special sticker on the July cover," Hef tweeted Wednesday with a picture. "Look for it on newsstands."

"Runaway bride in this issue!" reads the bright-red label on the revised cover, which also bears its original teaser, "America's Princess: Introducing Mrs. Crystal Hefner."

Harris packed her stuff and ditched Hefner only days before their wedding, which had been planned for Saturday. Darn those magazines and their long publishing lead times -- the rest of the world need only buy some chocolate and unfriend the ex on Facebook.

Harris talked with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Wednesday to give her side of the story -- which according to her involved a mutual decision not to get married.

"For a while I've been having second thoughts about everything," the 25-year-old said. "I haven't really been at peace with myself lately. I didn't think it was really fair to him." Oh yeah, it turns out she also wasn't really down with her fiance's unusual lifestyle.

"Multiple girls all around, it's not the lifestyle I wanted," America's Princess told Seacrest.

However, mutual may be in the eye of the beholder.

"Crystal did an interview ... to explain everything, but I still don't have a clue," Hefner, 85, said via Twitter, adding, "I didn't see any of this coming, but I'm glad things went wrong before the marriage instead of after. Live & learn."

The Ministry is just glad that after living in the Playboy Mansion for years, spending some of that time as one of three "girlfriends," Harris needed less than six months from the time of her December engagement to notice the multiple-girls thing.

Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris: Wedding is off [Poll]

Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris

This post has been updated and corrected. See the notes below for details.

Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris have reportedly called off their wedding, set for this Saturday, after the 25-year-old playmate packed her stuff and moved out in the wake of a weekend fight with her 85-year-old fiance.

"The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart," Hefner tweeted around noon, confirming the news.

Awkwardly, while others might simply have to cancel the wedding photographer, Harris appears in a "Here comes the bride" photo spread in the July issue of Playboy, accompanied by an article on why she and Hef "will live happily after."

Multiple sources inside the Playboy Mansion confirmed the split Tuesday morning, according to TMZ. More than 300 guests had been invited to the ceremony, People said.

Hefner and Harris got engaged on Christmas Eve, almost a year after he'd asked girlfriends No. 2 and No. 3, twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, to move out of the mansion so he could get more serious with Harris.

The Shannon twins, initially moved from the mansion to the Playboy House, were asked to leave the property completely in May. Seems Hef didn't like his ex-girlfriends bringing their new boyfriends over to play.

[Updated, 2:45 p.m. June 14: This post has been updated to include Hefner's confirmation that the wedding was nixed, which came shortly after the post was written but before it was published. The headline was changed to reflect that certainty.]

[For the record, 2:30 p.m. June 16:  This post originally placed Harris' photo spread in the "current" issue of Playboy. Cover girl Harris is featured in the upcoming July issue.]

Hugh Hefner, 84, engaged to Playmate Crystal Harris, 24

Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris Hugh Hefner got engaged to Playmate Crystal Harris on Christmas Eve, announcing on Twitter that he'd given her a ring, then clarifying the next day that it was indeed a ring of the engagement variety.

"When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory," the Playboy magazine founder tweeted Saturday.

Harris, 24, met Hef on Halloween 2008 and was Playmate of the Month in December 2009. Hefner, 84, chose his first Playmate of the Month in 1953.

This will be his third marriage. No. 1 to Mildred Williams ended in 1959; No. 2 to Kimberley Conrad ended this year. Not that they've been the only women in his life — in May, after asking them to leave the Playboy Mansion for the nearby Playboy House so he could get more serious with Harris, Hefner booted twin ex-girlfriends Karissa and Kristina Shannon off the Playboy property entirely. Turns out he wasn't cool with them bringing boyfriends to his place.

Back at the mansion, after watching "Elf" on Thursday, Hugh and Crystal hosted friends and family Friday, screening Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp's new flick, "The Tourist."

"After the movie tonight, Crystal & I exchanged gifts. I gave Crystal a ring," Hef tweeted. "A truly memorable Christmas Eve."

PREACH IT! And we thought our landlord was mean: Hugh Hefner's exes can't have boyfriends?

Apparently 84-year-old Hugh Hefner is still spry. Or he can at least lift one leg high enough to kick two people out of his mansion.

Per Contact Music, the Playboy founder has asked former "girlfriends" Karissa and Kristina Shannon to move off the Playboy property. The twins already had been asked to move out of the storied Playboy Mansion to the nearby Playboy House after Hefner decided to get more serious with another model, Crystal Harris. But now the twins need to clear out altogether.

The reason: They had boyfriends. And they dared to bring them over to the house.

Contact Music quotes Karissa as saying, "After a couple of weeks, Hef was getting a little bit upset about the boyfriends, so he wanted us to move out. We need to update people about what's going on.

"We were not allowed to have boys in the house. That was the absolute No. 1 rule: No boys allowed. That was one of the main reasons we moved out. But living there and being seen out with other guys, Hugh was tripping."

We could go the usual ho-hum outrage route with this one -- how dare Hef impose such a stupid sexist double standard, blah blah blah -- but no. Instead, we’ll dredge up a mystery ...

A star is reborn as Judy Garland returns to the big screen in Hollywood

Bisset-tcm Hollywood may be divided into different kingdoms -- new and old, TV and film, young and distinguished -- but at least one star brings them all together: Judy Garland.

Borgnine-tcm Thursday's world premiere of the newly restored print of 1954's "A Star Is Born" at Grauman's Chinese Theatre brought out an unusually eclectic cross-section of stars, from Cher to Eli Wallach and Tippi Hedren to "Curb Your Enthusiasm's" Jeff Garlin, as well as Lorna and Joey Luft, the offspring of Garland and the film's producer, Sid Luft.

Mingling at Vanity Fair's after-party at Kress were Eva Marie Saint, "Psych's" Dule Hill, Anne Jeffreys, director Curtis Hanson, Ann Rutherford, Buck Henry, Hugh Hefner and "The Office's" Kate Flannery. Off in a corner booth, Alec Baldwin huddled with Jacqueline Bisset, Danny Huston and jewelry designer Nicky Butler.

For the suddenly ubiquitous Baldwin, this was home territory. One of the actor's many ...

Hugh Hefner on Tiger Woods and Jesse James rehabbing after being caught cheating: 'It's a cop out'

Who better than the founder of Playboy to ask about the dalliances of today's entertainers who run to rehab once they're found cheating?

Hugh Hefner turned 84 on Friday, and moments after playing around with the birthday gift just given to him by his girlfriend (Hef got an iPad), he sat down and talked about the new trend of 3-D movies ("It's a gimmick and how long it will last we'll see."), this year's box-office blockbuster "Alice in Wonderland" ("Slight on story, very strong visually. Tim Burton is a genius."), and why he has never found himself embroiled in scandal despite his less-than-mundane life.

But when it came to asking the man who knows a thing or two about human sexual behavior, particularly in regard to famous men, Hefner said although he believes some people have become addicted to sex and need treatment, it doesn't have much to do with sex when the likes of Tiger Woods and Jesse James enter rehab.

"I think it is a cop out," Hefner said from inside the Playboy mansion. "In the cases we are talking about here, they're making choices and they think they can get away with it. And I think the real immorality about it is the cheating, not the sex."

Not long after the interview, Hef was joined by his friends for an annual viewing of his favorite film, "Casablanca," after eating caviar and drinking champagne by candlelight.

"Very romantic," he explained.
