Prince and Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger party after the People's Choice Awards

Nicole Some Pussycats have all the luck.

The Ministry has learned that on-and-off Pussycat Dolls front woman Nicole Scherzinger got an A-list treat after her People's Choice Awards performance Wednesday night: a private audience with Prince at Bardot Hollywood.

The singers had the Jason Scoppa-run spot opened just for their purposes -- something the Purple One is fond of doing (he even hosted his recent Christmas Eve bash there, with about 50 guests).

Brittany Murphy and the USO: an exclusive appreciation [PICTURES]

USO-tour-2004-brittany-murphy-on-stage Actress Brittany Murphy's funeral is today, Christmas Eve -- a "strictly private" service reportedly to be held at Forest Lawn Memorial-Park in the Hollywood Hills.

With that in mind, and in the spirit of the holiday as well, we'd like to celebrate Brittany's life a bit, with exclusive photos from her 2003 and 2004 USO tours that show the "sweet soul, with a lot of talent and heart"  described by Alyssa Milano  on Sunday on Twitter.

Alyssa's Twitter followers saw a couple of Twitpics of her and Murphy hanging out on the carrier Nimitz -- and through the magic of the interwebs (with an assist from Twitter user Dustin P. Jones), the Ministry has more, courtesy of Les Martines, the original photographer.

Alyssa and Les were both eager that the images reach Brittany's fans.

The shots of Alyssa and Brittany "were taken aboard the USS Nimitz about 100 miles out to sea on a USO tour in 2003," Martines said.

Please click on the "photo gallery" image of Brittany and country singer Neal McCoy, to the left, if you'd like to see the pictures and let them speak for themselves. Otherwise, read on -- we're going to go long with a few quotes after the jump, because the sentiments are uniformly heartfelt.

Martines is road manager for Neal McCoy, who was on those tours too, along with USO stalwart  Newton (he's performed during every conflict since the Vietnam War), Air Force and USO veteran Paul Rodriguez, and of course the lovely ladies. McCoy is about to set out on his 14th USO tour come January.

The real Kate Walsh likes sea turtles -- and isn't your Facebook friend

KateKate Walsh, the former "Grey's Anatomy" star who spun off into "Private Practice," has cautioned fans that she's being impersonated on Facebook, ContactMusic.com reports.

Seems a neighbor got upset when Walsh didn't show up for a dinner date she'd accepted -- via Facebook.

No offense to Kate Walsh the singer on Facebook, or the Kate Walsh on Facebook who's a fan of Freeze Pops, bubble wrap and Red Bull (we think we'd like her, actually).

Hints that this Facebook page might not be a direct connect to the actress? It's not private in any way. It has no posts about Kate. And its only information is a link to a cheesy "Kate Walsh" Web page that's loaded up with Google ads.

Hint that people are suckers? Fake Facebook Kate has more than 8,500 friends!

Just shoot us now, OK?

Back to the real actress, who appeared on David Letterman's show Wednesday night rocking a "futuristic flight attendant" vibe. Hey, we liked the blue dress. But we did expect her to say "buh-bye" to Dave when the interview ended.

Anyway, the real Ms. Walsh does work with the group Oceana on behalf of sea turtles, and after hanging out underwater within inches of one in Hawaii, we think that's cool. (No touching the turtle! Just admiring!)

Click to the jump for video of Kate swimming with sea turtles. She looks way better than we do in a wetsuit top and bikini bottoms.

Kate Walsh's invites are more along the lines of the private Jimmy Choo for H&M Collection event in support of the Motion Picture & Television Fund, held Nov. 2, 2009, in West Hollywood.
