Gene Simmons' wedding to Shannon Tweed is a done deal!

Gene Simmons' wedding to Shannon Tweed is a done deal

Gene Simmons' wedding to Shannon Tweed finally happened Saturday, with the two tying the knot after 28 years together. The KISS frontman and the former Playboy model got married in a luxe wedding ceremony in Beverly Hills, surrounded by hundreds of friends and a camera crew.

The evening nuptials took place on the Beverly Hills Hotel's crystal lawn, where Tweed walked down the aisle wearing an ivory Priscilla of Boston gown with a bouquet of ivory garden roses, People reports.
Simmons, 62, and Tweed, 54, wrote their own vows, and many of the 400 guests cheered when Simmons finally said, "I do."

The star studded guest list included the couple's children Nick, 22, and Sophie, 19, plus Hugh Hefner, Bill Maher and of course fellow KISS member Paul Stanley, who was a member of the wedding party. Maid of honor Sophie reportedly serenaded the couple with "At Last" for their first dance, US Magazine said. How fitting.

Simmons shocked fans in July when he proposed to Tweed on A&E's "Gene Simmons Family Jewels." Before going down on one knee and popping the question, the singer and bass player -- who'd vowed he would never marry -- told Tweed, "I come with so much baggage, you're the only friend I've got. You are the only one I've ever loved."

Soon the whole family was in on the planning. Nick designed the wedding invitations, while Sophie wrote the message, "After 28 years of loose strings, our parents have finally decided to tie the knot. Our mother will share our horrendous hyphenate of a last name and our father's life ... well, it doesn't change that much."

Fans are invited to be a part of the celebration too, when it airs Oct. 18 on the new season of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels."

'X-Men's' James Marsden and wife Lisa Linde to divorce

Jamesmarsden
James Marsden and his wife Lisa Linde are calling it quits after 11 years of marriage. Linde filed for divorce on Sept. 23 citing irreconcilable differences with her hubby, best known as Cyclops in the “X-Men” franchise.

She is seeking spousal support and joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s son Jack and daughter Mary, People reports.

"This was a mutual decision,” a rep tells the magazine. They are committed to raising their kids together and remain great friends."

Marsden was already having a bad month in September after the weak opening of his gruesome thriller “Straw Dogs” costarring “True Blood’s” Alexander Skarsgard. The violent remake scored a poor 36% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has earned just $8.8 million at the box office so far.

Despite it all, Marsden let loose the night his wife filed for divorce. TMZ got the star singing outside the Papaya King hot dog shop in New York at 4:30 a.m. Check out the video to hear him belt out “Very Superstitious” with friends.

Jack Osbourne engaged to Lisa Stelly after dating for four months

Jack Osbourne with sister Kelly and mom Sharon

Jack Osbourne is engaged -- which means his fiancée, Lisa Stelly, has Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, not to mention sister Kelly, to look forward to as in-laws.

"The most amazing man I've ever met asked me to marry him....and he wasn't joking! Crazy, right?," Stelly said Thursday on Twitter.

The Prince of Darkness' 25-year-old son has been dating model and aspiring actress Stelly for about four months -- and if the bride-to-be wants an idea of what kind of royal family she's getting into, she need only watch reruns of "The Osbournes," where Jack grew up in the public eye. One handy thing: He's already gotten rehab out of the way.

Kelly Osbourne congratulated Jack via Twitter on Friday, saying, "@MrJackO well i guess you're not my little brother anymore i'm so unbeliveably proud of the man you have become! im so happy for you & lisa!" Us Weekly confirmed the engagement Thursday.

Though Lisa is a model, as was Kelly's ex-fiancé, Luke Worrall, with luck the engaged thing will work out better for Jack than it did for Kelly. Though she may have dodged a bullet there, no?

Ashton Kutcher steps out with wedding ring obviously on

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's marriage has sparked speculation this week

Ashton Kutcher got some bells ringing Thursday by sporting his wedding band while running errands in Beverly Hills.

Kutcher and wife Demi Moore have been plagued for days with rumors of infidelity (supposedly his) and a looming (or supposedly in-progress) separation after reports had the "Two and a Half Men" star allegedly doing more than canoodling with a younger woman in San Diego during his supposed sixth wedding anniversary weekend. Wait, it definitely was his sixth wedding anniversary last weekend.

After a taping of his CBS comedy, Kutcher hit bike maker Ducati's flagship store, where he purchased two motorcycle helmets, smiling and rocking his ring all the while, People said Friday. That's right, two helmets. Like, Mr. and Mrs. helmets. And did we mention he was wearing his wedding band? Because he totally was.

For those keeping track, the sitcom actor also wore his ring at the Emmy Awards on Sept. 18. And at the Teen Choice Awards on Aug. 7. Stealth pics of Kutcher clubbing in San Diego last weekend clearly include his new best friend That Hat, but do not show his left hand.

Later that afternoon, around the same time, Moore and Kutcher each were spotted heading to their Beverly Hills home, sources told the mag.

Reps for Kutcher or Moore have yet to comment on the rumors, but the pair have tweeted oblique messages this week, along the lines of: Stay-out-our-bidness.

Kutcher tweeted a link to a song called "Don't Believe the Hype," followed by a little ditty about what happens when folks assume. Moore offered a philosophical quote about every man having fault.

OK! What do you think of the Ashton-Demi brouhaha? And that wedding band? Tell us in comments.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher: Is it a split in the Twitterverse?

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher: Are they breaking up?

For years, Demi Moore has been desperate for the world to know how happily married she is, constantly tweeting an equal measure of cutesy honey-I'm-home posts and Hallmark-card platitudes. ("Work on loving yourself. Happiness is an inside job between you and your higher power, whatever that is for you!")

If you haven't heard by now that Moore is married to Ashton Kutcher (and that she still looks great in a bikini), you live on the International Space Station.

But here's the thing about parading your personal life in public: The public pays attention. And then, when things go wrong, or appear to go wrong, or even just slightly deviate in any way from the usual unicorn rainbow cloud of happy, the whole world knows at once.

In fact, Wednesday, we know this: All is not fabulous in the world of @aplusk. Or at least its not 100% lovetastic. For the TMI tweets have dwindled, the two reportedly have been spending time apart and a woman has emerged claiming she has had an affair with Kutcher. The woman is Sara Leal, and she says she slept with Kutcher something like 72 hours ago. Twitter age, you understand. We find out everything faster.

According to Radar, if Kutcher did indeed have an affair with this woman, it wouldn't be his first. Some reports indicate that Kutcher slept with another woman (named Brittney, of course), last year. Another fun fact: Leal is reportedly meeting with attorneys, presumably to see whether she needs to cash in, er, explore her legal rights.

Star magazine also seems to think that the A has sundered from the K; in an issue hitting stands this week, Star reports that the couple has been living apart and will split a $290-million fortune.

And what of Moore’s Twitter feed? Well, it's been largely dead for 24 hours, which is an eon in Mrs. Kutcherland; this is the same Moore who will point out the exact location of her teenage daughter’s breasts if it means garnering a little more attention.

Does this all add up to a real split?

I know where I’ll be watching for confirmation.

Kat Von D sets the record straight: She and Jesse James are over

Kat Von D and Jesse James are off again, she said on Facebook

Kat Von D and Jesse James have called off their engagement once again, and she's definitely not moving to Texas, the former star of "L.A. Ink" has announced.

"I am not in a relationship. (And I apologize for all the 'back and forth' if it's caused any confusion)," she said in a Facebook post Friday aimed at answering some recurring questions and clearing up some of the confusion she says she's faced since the reality show ended Sept. 15.

In the final episode, Von D suggested that she and her West Coast Choppers beau open the "Jesse Von Kat Tattoo and Motorcycle Emporium" in James' neck of the woods, to address some of the problems they were dealing with as they juggled their jobs and a long-distance relationship between L.A. and Austin.

"It was clear to me that we were just on two different paths in life," Von D told People magazine on Saturday, adding, "I wish Jesse nothing but the best in life and in love." The couple, who went public last September and got engaged in January, split up right before the final season of "L.A. Ink" premiered, then got back together in August. James' split from Sandra Bullock, his third wife, was finalized in June 2010.

Other points clarified by Von D: The tattoo artist and gallery owner is not leaving High Voltage Tattoo, not retiring, and not unhappy to have done four seasons of "L.A. Ink."

Brad Pitt: Quotes on life with Aniston were misinterpreted [Poll]

Brad Pitt says his remarks about living an uninteresting life when married to Jennifer Aniston were misinterpreted.

Brad Pitt wants people to know that he didn't mean married life with Jennifer Aniston was uninteresting when he told Parade magazine that, for a time, he was living an uninteresting life and that he thought his marriage to her had something to do with it.

"It grieves me that this was interpreted this way," Pitt said Friday in a written statement, referring to Thursday's gossip kerfuffle about the remarks. "Jen is an incredibly giving, loving and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull but that I was becoming dull to myself — and that I am responsible for."

Guess the "Brad Pitt is finally 'satisfied' " headline on the piece didn't help much in setting the tone — along with those other highlighted quotes about how happy he is. Now. With Angelina Jolie.

Here's the Pitt quote due in print Sunday, as teased by Parade.

I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage [to Aniston] had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't.

So, the decision is yours. If the Ministry knows anything, it's that quotes are taken out of context and misinterpreted all the time. That said, the did-he-mean-it-or-not debate is at least, y'know, fairly interesting.

New Aniston beau Justin Theroux might have a foolproof technique for not being misinterpreted: During an interview, simply pose, look pretty and speak about nothing except your relationship with your own facial hair.

Pitt's new movie, "Moneyball," opens Sept. 23.

Paul McCartney, Nancy Shevell post notice of intent to marry

Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell

This post has been corrected, as detailed below.

Paul McCartney and fiancee Nancy Shevell have posted notice of their intent to marry, at the same central London spot where the Beatle married his first wife in 1969.

McCartney, 69, and American Shevell, 51, posted wedding banns Wednesday at the Westminster Register Office, a.k.a. Old Marylebone Town Hall. They must wait 16 days after posting the marriage banns, then they have a year from that "go" date to get the civil ceremony done.

It's a second marriage for Shevell, an executive at a transportation company based in New Jersey who's also been on the board of New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority. McCartney in 1969 married Linda Eastman, who died of breast cancer in 1998. He and Heather Mills wed in 2002, then split in 2008 with an acrimonious divorce that included a court-ordered settlement of nearly $50 million.

On the banns posted Wednesday, McCartney gave his profession as "business executive," with his multi-millionaire future wife listed simply as an "executive."

The register office is described by Britain's Independent newspaper as "the venue of choice for countless loved-up celebrities from the Beatles onwards," with an impressive marble entry and four "marriage rooms."

Too bad they didn't wait until January or February -- could've gotten a 20% discount on a winter wedding.

[For the record, 8:30 p.m. Oct. 2: A previous version of this post incorrectly said that Linda McCartney died in 1988. Thanks to commenters Sean Greene, Richard LeComte and Fatima Curiel for flagging the gaffe.]

Pia Toscano, Mark Ballas have called it quits

Pia Toscano and Mark Ballas are reportedly too busy to date one another.

Are Pia Toscano and Mark Ballas victims of their own success? The singer and the dancer — matched in prime-time competition-show heaven, or at least in the adjacent trailers that park there — have reportedly broken up because they're too busy with work.

Toscano, who competed on the most recent "American Idol," and Ballas, a pro on "Dancing With the Stars," were first seen out on the town together in April, dining at Gulfstream restaurant in Century City.

"They both decided with everything going on that they couldn't give each other what would be fair," a source told People, adding that it was a mutual decision. E! News first reported the breakup.

Ballas, who finished third last season on "DWTS" with partner Chelsea Kane, is currently rehearsing for the show's 13th season with Kristin Cavallari. Ballas previously hit the floor with Bristol Palin.

The American Idols Live! 2011 Tour, which has had Toscano and the gang on the road since early July, wraps up Tuesday in the Philippines. Toscano has also been busy working on her debut album, her rep told E!

Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lopez wine and dine in New York

Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lopez

Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lopez know how to lend a prix fixe meal some heat a la carte — by simply enjoying such a dinner date together.

The two single actors broke bread at New York City's Per Se, a swanky upper west side eatery that boasts a $295 prix fixe chef's tasting menu. Saturday night also saw them indulging in an hours-long conversation.

The outing was described as "romantic" by a TMZ source, and news of a Lopez-Cooper hookup would be both unexpected and sexy. But don't look for a save-the-date card soon: Others said it was all business, with the two talking about a possible project on which to collaborate, according to E! News.

Lopez, 42, is divorcing Marc Anthony, her husband of seven years, after their union imploded this summer. Cooper, 36, had a serious go at it a while back with Renee Zellweger, but that fizzled after a year ending in September 2010.

On screen or off, what would you think of Jennifer and Bradley as a couple? Tell us in comments.
