Happy Memorial Day from the Ministry and 'Chloe Sevigny'

And so another holiday passes for which we can bring you a tribute from the Ministry's beloved Chloë Sevigny impersonator.

"Chloe" defines Memorial Day as a time to reflect on her favorite things past — like friendship with Julia Stiles, stirrup pants and sunflower hats, jackal-feedings in Kilimanjaro and her grandmother's dinner prayers.

"Let's take this time to remember our memories," Chloe encourages.

While the spoof makes us smile, let us not forget what Memorial Day actually represents. And here's wishing you a safe one.

'Chloe Sevigny' reminds us that Oscar week has begun

While the country pauses to celebrate Presidents Day, the Ministry is pledging allegiance to the Academy Awards madness ahead. WIth only six days to the big show, our favorite viral vixen reminds us: It's Oh-scah season.

The lovable spoofer of Chloe Sevigny is back with a golden salute to this Sunday's trophy fest, and it's come to our attention that we'd rather no one else give us the reminder.

Feast on the clip above in which "Chloe" recalls a "pre-party preview finalist nomination luncheon" (admitedly, we've been to a few), a fragrance party for Thierry Mugler, and her list of overlooked artists.

Stay tuned to the Ministry all week long for the best of pre-parties, telecast teases and the main event.

'Big Love': Ginnifer Goodwin, Chloë Sevigny, Bill Paxton premiere final season

Chloe Sevigny at the Big Love final season premiere As "Big Love" prepared to take a bow with its final season, the cast of the HBO polygamy hit -- including Bill Paxton, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Chloë Sevigny and Ginnifer Goodwin -- gathered in West Hollywood to start saying their goodbyes.

Jeanne Tripplehorn at the Big Love premiere The leads were all smiles as the core family of husband and wives, greeting industry types and fans at the Directors Guild of America on Wednesday.

Never disappointing in her sartorial choices, Sevingy showed up in a halter dress that certain spoofers would adore. Goodwin kept up her fashion-pixie shtick with handsome fiancé Joey Kern.

Other "Love" folks, including Mary Kay Place, new addition and "Melrose Place" alum Grant Show, and Universal movie head Donna Langley, partook in festivites held afterward at the DGA.

A dessert spread included wedding cakes for Paxton's Bill Henrickson and all three of his brides. Big names absent from the fete included Amanda Seyfried and series co-producer Tom Hanks. Click the photo of Tripplehorn, above, to see more pictures from the premiere.

Will you miss the thrice-wived Henrickson family when "Big Love" goes dark after Season 5? Tell us in comments.

'Chloe Sevigny' and the Ministry of Gossip wish you a fabulous holiday

Chloe Sevigny We at the Ministry give and give and give -- breaking news, fabulous party reports, top-to-bottom premiere coverage and gratuitous beefcake and cheesecake, naked cellphone pictures -- until we're blue in the face.

Yes, we still have more. Why? Because we're givers, and so is Chloe Sevigny-- or at least the version of her from the brilliant team that produces our new obsession, a series of virals lampooning the impossibly chic and offbeat actress with accuracy so sharp we thought we'd been stuck with the wrong end of a vintage Christian Lacroix brooch.

Enjoy Chloe's holiday love, and please accept the Ministry's love to you and yours. See you after holidee.

Arty or party? The stars divide at MOCA's 30th birthday

Frangaga

The transformative power of art has nothing on the transformative power of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie -- who turned L.A.'s Museum of Contemporary Art's 30th anniversary gala into a contender for social event of the decade Saturday night.

Brad-and-Angie-ENT MOCA trustees and tons of bold names stepped out for shmoozing and a much-hyped performance art piece from Francesco Vezzoli, the center of which was Lady Gaga unveiling her new single "Speechless."

We were mostly speechless over the sheer star presence, like at Grey Goose vodka's pre-ceremony cocktail hour -- where Guy Ritchie worked the room solo swilling a martini, French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld pouted and Kate Beckinsale allowed passers-by to watch as she radiated insane beauty.

Below the bash's elevated bar was the heavily curated anniversary art collection, which required, before viewing, that any booze be checked at the door. Quelle horreur!

The brave names ditching their bubbly for art's sake: Chloe Sevigny, Eva Mendes, Zoe Saldana, Diablo Cody, Neil Patrick Harris and James Franco.

Those who preferred to stay on the surface to sip?
