Heidi Klum files for divorce from Seal

Heidi Klum has filed for divorce from Seal

Heidi Klum filed for divorce from Seal on Friday in L.A., making official what we knew was coming since they announced their separation back in January.

It's all pretty standard stuff, according to various reports, with Klum citing "irreconcilable differences," seeking joint legal and primary physical custody of their four children, and asking for her legal name to be changed back from Heidi Samuel — Henry Samuel being Seal's legal name.

According to TMZ, which first reported the news, the couple signed a post-nuptial agreement separating assets, so there's no community-property split to be hashed out.

A couple of days after the couple said they were dunzo, when both were still wearing their wedding bands, Seal kept alive the idea of reconciliation. "Is it irreparable?," he told Piers Morgan on CNN. "You can never say never. The thing I love most about us is that we are a team ... that won't change, whether we get back together or not."

Alas, it's looking like "not."

Peter Facinelli files for divorce from Jennie Garth

Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth

Peter Facinelli on Wednesday filed for divorce from Jennie Garth, and she in turn filed her response, making official the relationship bombshell they dropped two weeks back.

The paperwork reportedly came over the Los Angeles Superior Court transom 15 days after the couple, who have three children together, announced their plans to separate after 11 years of marriage.

"While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children," Facinelli and Garth said at the time in a joint statement. "We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time."

The reason given for the split was irreconcilable differences, apparently revolving in large part around the toll Facinelli's work schedule took on their marriage. The "Twilight Saga" and "Nurse Jackie" star was commuting to Vancouver, Canada, and New York during the week, returning to California most weekends to the family home in Santa Ynez, Garth told People. The day after announcing their split, the couple publicly denied rumors of infidelity, calling them "hurtful."

When Facinelli asked Garth last fall for a divorce, she was "very resistant," she said.

"I didn't want it to happen," she told the mag. "It took me some time to come to peace with it."

The divorce documents give the couple's separation date as Jan. 1 of this year. They are, according to TMZ, seeking joint physical and legal custody of daughters Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and 5-year-old Fiona. She is requesting her legal name be changed back to Jennie Garth from Jennie Facinelli.

Kim Kardashian: The annulment, plastic surgeon and Las Vegas

Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian's feud with Jon Hamm is nothing compared with what she’s been going through this week. For instance, seeking an annulment from ex Kris Humphries and possibly suing a plastic surgeon over the use of her image on a billboard in Mexico.

However, her week ended on a high note. Kim headed to Las Vegas this weekend to help her brother Rob celebrate his 25th birthday.

When it comes to the annulment, it looks like the couple have come to a standstill, with each side  demanding that the other admit to fraud, reports TMZ. Kim insists that the pair agreed to reside in Hollywood, until Kris later pushed for her to move to Minnesota. However, the basketball star claims she never intended for them to stay together. It looks like money could be an issue too. Humphries reportedly wants $7 million, but Kim isn’t giving in.

And then there’s the plastic surgeon in Mexico who used her image without her blessing. It looks like the man behind the bikini-clad billboard in Mexicali, Dr. Victor Ramirez, could get sued for making Kim the unwilling poster child for his business, reports TMZ.

The site called Ramirez and asked if he had permission to use the image. He responded, "Obviously I did not speak to Kim Kardashian. I do not have her number." He then said he would contact the police and hung up.

Despite everything, Kim put it aside and headed to Sin City to party with her brother Rob on Friday, reports Eonline.com. The night out included dinner at Stack Restaurant & Bar with mom Kris and little sisters Kendall and Kylie, followed by a stop at 1 OAK nightclub (sans the younger girls).

Showing some sisterly love, Kim tweeted photos and wrote on her blog, “Happy birthday to my little brother Rob!!! I love you more than you know! You’ve grown into an amazing young man and I’m proud to call you my brother. I hope your 25th year is the best yet!! Love you so much! Xo”

Jennie Garth, Peter Facinelli deny 'hurtful' infidelity rumors

Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli say rumors of an affair are untrue and hurtful

Recently separated pair Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli are standing together on more than the care of their daughters. Both actors are speaking out about allegations of infidelity.

Facinelli and Garth announced Tuesday that they mutually decided to end their 11-year marriage, with follow-up reports suggesting "Twilight Saga" star Facinelli was involved with another woman.

"There are rumors out there which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family," Garth and Facinelli said in a joint statement Wednesday. "We just want to make it very clear — there are no third parties involved."

The defunct couple previously expressed that they remain friends and will work together in raising their girls. Facinelli is a star of Showtime's "Nurse Jackie," and will release "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2" in November.

Garth, a fan favorite as Kelly Taylor on Aaron Spelling's original "90210," is currently involved in a children's literacy campaign.

Peter Facinelli plays vampire Carlisle Cullen in "The Twilight Saga," but sadly his marriage to "90210" actress Jennie Garth isn't similarly immortal.

The star couple announced Tuesday that their 11-year marriage has ended.

"While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children," Facinelli and Garth told Us Weekly. "We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time."

They share three girls: Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and 5-year-old Fiona. The news comes on the heels of Facinelli's Monday appearance on "The Hunger Games" red carpet with his eldest.

Facinelli will enjoy an anonymous summer before promoting the final "Twilight" installment, "Breaking Dawn -- Part 2." Garth is committed to a charitable outreach for children's literacy, a book reading with Cheerio's Spoonful of Stories, slated for mid-March.

While the news may come as a surprise to some, reports as early as last July had the pair on the rocks, living apart and trying to work out their differences. What do you think of Peter and Jennie's split? Tell us in comments.

Dennis Quaid's wife, Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, files for divorce

Dennis Quaid

Dennis Quaid's third wife, Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, has reportedly filed for divorce, asking for spousal support and attorney's fees.

"The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities ... that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation," said the divorce filing, obtained by TMZ.

The two have a temporary custody agreement in place as well, the website said, giving each party time with the young kids. Kimberly reportedly has custody of their main home.

Quaid was previously married to actress P.J. Soles, divorcing in 1983, and more famously to Meg Ryan. He and Ryan split in 2001 after 10 years of marriage.

Bubbling up at the same time as the divorce filing, courtesy of the New York Daily News, is an allegation of Valentine's Day monkey business on Quaid's part, according to tweets from Serena Williams' practice partner Sascha Bajin. Bajin, who has since taken down the tweets, said Quaid stole his date at a party in L.A. thrown by the tennis star. A rep for Quaid told the Daily News that "someone's imagination is getting away from them. Dennis was with friends that night."

Quaid relocated to Austin, Texas, last year with Buffington-Quaid and their twins, saying, "L.A. has been good to us, but at this point in my life I'm ready to try something new." The couple were married in July 2004.

Katy Perry, Russell Brand make nice with divorce settlement

Russell Brand and Katy Perry

"Russell Brand to Katy Perry: I don't need your stinking millions!!!" That's the headline that really wasn't, as Brand and Perry have reached a property agreement in their divorce so amicable that Katy signed the papers with a heart and a smiley face on the dotted line.

He really didn't want the money he would have been entitled to under California's community property laws -- which would have included half of the $44 million she reportedly earned while they were Mr. and Mrs., according to TMZ. (Brand would have had to split his multimillion-dollar haul as well, of course, but she was the big breadwinner during the marriage.)

"This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch," a source told the website.

The couple, who split up late last year, "have entered into a comprehensive written settlement of all issues, including, without limitation, with respect to the property to be confirmed or assigned to each party," said to court papers filed Tuesday in Los Angeles.

In the document obtained by TMZ, Katy's response to Russell's Dec. 30 divorce filing, the idea of spousal support is nixed, the property resolution is declared and Ms. Perry indicates a desire to go back to her maiden name, Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson. Now it's just a matter of time until the divorce is made final.

So really, the headline should be something more like, "Russell Brand and Katy Perry: We don't need your stinking divorce court!!!"

Refreshing.

Kris Humphries targets Kim Kardashian, reality TV in divorce duel

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries

After a period of silence and some wristwatch-endorsing, Kris Humphries is emerging from his emotional locker room and looking to take down soon-to-be ex-wife Kim Kardashian -- and reality TV as a whole.

Humphries and his divorce attorney are reportedly knocking on the doors of Kim, momager Kris Jenner and several E! executives and accusing the lot of fraud.

Though Kim pulled the trigger last October and filed for divorce after only 72 days of marriage, Humphries filed a response in December asking for an annulment. Citing religious reasons for the request, the NBA player listed fraud as his grounds for marital dissolution. (She'd gone with "irreconcilable differences.)

Cut to the current season of "Kourtney & Kim Take New York," where Kris is heavily featured in a storyline about the couple's demise. Humphries reportedly intends to prove that some scenes were shot after their breakup to beef up the notion of Kim's unhappiness during the union.

Still with us? Great. Kim is reportedly not cool with any of this. Especially her former man's request to have their divorce proceedings broadcast (so meta).

"A public trial is the last thing that Kim wants, and she has instructed her lawyer to formally petition the court so that the divorce can be heard by a mediator," a Kardashian source told the Radar Online. "She wants the mediation to be private, confidential, and legally binding. ... Kim just wants this over and done with."

How ugly is this going to get? Tell us in comments.

Demi Moore seeks treatment for 'exhaustion,' 'overall health'

Demi Moore

Demi Moore is seeking professional help — the actress, whose split from husband Ashton Kutcher has fueled more than a few headlines in recent months, is getting treatment after reportedly visiting a local hospital Monday night.

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health," her rep confirmed Tuesday. "She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."

A 911 call reportedly made late Monday night resulted in Moore being taken by paramedics to a local hospital, according to TMZ, which cited law-enforcement sources who alleged the treatment was for substance abuse. Substance abuse was not confirmed Tuesday.

Despite the recent drama in Moore's personal life, appearance and attitude at CAA's pre-Golden Globes bash Jan. 13 gave little or no clue that something might be awry. Moore and Madonna sat out on the rear patio with some agent types, staying cool even when a newly beard-free Ashton Kutcher breezed in.

Seal discusses split from Heidi Klum like a man in love [Video]

Seal with Ellen DeGeneres

Seal is publicly discussing his split from Heidi Klum, throwing around some pretty powerful language with Ellen DeGeneres: words like dignity, civility, respect, love.

He certainly doesn't sound like a guy who's breaking up with anyone, despite the separation that was rumored over the weekend and announced Monday.

Seal showered Klum with praise on Ellen's show, calling her this "great woman who I married" and noting that she'd given him "four wonderful gifts" in the form of their young children. But, he said, "You just grow apart after a while."

About the separation -- he was still wearing his wedding ring and said he had no plan to take it off soon -- "We were shocked because you go into these things with the greatest intentions, you know, when you say 'I do,' when you say 'Till death do us part,' those vows hold value. They're not just words."

Indeed, he and Klum had renewed their vows annually in the company of friends. "But these things happen," he said.

Though the word divorce hasn't been mentioned by Seal and wasn't said by the couple in their statement Monday, that's what Klum is planning, TMZ reports, adding info from sources who said Seal's temper and their careers played parts in the split.

The full interview airs Tuesday on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
