Amber Rose talks wedding plans (she's already got the dress)
Amber Rose is showbiz beautiful and well-compensated for it, but don't expect the model to go the celebrity route when it comes to planning her wedding to rapper Wiz Khalifa.
Rose is manicured-hands-on when it comes to every step of their special day.
"I'm doing everything, baby!" she told the Ministry. "And I want to. I met the love of my life, you know? So this day is amazing."
We caught up with Rose as she prepared to celebrate the inaugural Virgin America flight from Los Angeles to Philadelphia. Rose is a South Philly girl herself, something she says has a major influence on her big day.
"I've got my dad's side, which is the Italian side, like straight Italiano, which is very family oriented, so I'm reading that into music, procession, reception, bring it on!" she said.
And what about Khalifa, who has an eccentric style all his own?
"He has his ideas, for sure. But I'm the bride. I mean, he has no choice!"
Rose has already found her dress, but she's keeping designer details (and the wedding date) on lockdown.
She hopped the Wednesday flight with actor Seth Green, pulling up to Philadelphia International Airport, where Richard Branson awaited his aircraft. Later that evening, a welcome party was held at Center City's Palomar Hotel.
Rose was joined by Penn Badgley and Zoe Kravitz, actor Terrence Howard and director M. Night Shyamalan, part of a group that danced the night away to a set from DJ Jazzy Jeff.
