SAG Awards: 'Glee' gals Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz have the red carpet nailed

SAG Awards Jenna Ushkowitz of Glee Amber Riley and Jenna Ushkowitz of "Glee" have gotten really comfortable with all this red-carpet, awards-circuit stuff -- and on the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet Sunday, it showed.

SAG Awards Amber Riley of Glee Looking polished and confident but still excited by the glitz in their second season on the circuit, Riley and Ushkowitz each asserted separately that the SAG Awards nods are a particularly special honor for the cast, because, as Riley put it, "Actors and actresses love our show!"

How do they know? Because the heavy-hitters tell them so directly.

"Last year at the SAG Awards, we met Meryl Streep," Ushkowitz said, giggling. "She was like, 'Enjoy the ride, you guys are amazing,' "

Live feed! Amber Riley sings at Easter Egg Roll; Justin Bieber, 'Glee' cast to perform

No pressure, Amber Riley. That's only the president, the first lady and their daughters standing, oh, 10 feet to your left on that White House balcony while you're singing.

Riley knocked out the national anthem Monday to start the White House Easter Egg Roll before Michelle Obama introduced the event -- the first lady announced musical performances from Justin Bieber, Sara Bareilles and the cast of "Glee" on the schedule, and appearances on the Storytime Stage by J.K. Rowling and Reese Witherspoon.

Oh yes, there's also an egg roll going on, and 30,000 people visiting the South Lawn from all over the country.

That's the live feed of the event above, or click here for more info.

'Glee' wants YOU! to audition! to be on 'Glee'! (If you can sing really well, that is)

Amber Think you could be "Glee's" next Mercedes Jones?

For the Gleeks among us, there's good news today: Fox has renewed "Glee" for a second season.

But for the Gleeks among us who can actually sing, there's news that's even more exciting: Three new cast members will be added to the show, and "Glee" will conduct a nationwide casting search beginning this February to fill the slots.

Um, haters need not apply.

Did we just hear an extremely well-pitched squeal go up around the country? Especially in New York and L.A.?

[CLICK HERE for official "Glee" audition information. The Ministry of Gossip is not involved with the process in any way, so you have to go to Fox for information. Fox says auditions will be open to candidates who are ages 16 to 26 years old. Thanks!]

Information on how to submit audition tapes has yet to be released, so don't go sending stuff randomly to "'Glee' auditions c/o Hollywood," OK? We'll do our best to keep you posted.

Click here to check out Amber Riley's audition tape and then let us know -- do you think you can compete?
