Jessica Biel nabs coveted 'Hitchcock' role as Vera Miles

Jessica Biel joins a film about the making of Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho'
Jessica Biel just moved a step ahead on the "having it all" ladder: The brunet landed Justin Timberlake's marriage proposal and now a hot movie role.

Biel allegedly beat out several young starlets for the part of actress Vera Miles in "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho," a film about the suspense master's classic film.

She joins previously reported cast members Scarlett Johansson, playing Janet Leigh (the showering blond that shocked audiences by dying off in the beginning of the film) and James D'Arcy as Anthony Perkins, who played creepy motel operator Norman Bates.

The future Mrs. Timberlake will next promote "Total Recall" with Colin Farrell, and presumably plan a wedding. She must be eager to head down the aisle -- at January's Golden Globes, Biel was plenty curious about babies.

Congrats on the gig, Jess.
