Angelina Jolie shrugged off Oscar leg jokes

Angelina Jolie’s wandering right leg from February’s Academy Awards registered with critics and fans, but don’t expect those giggles to penetrate her glossy bubble. She didn’t really notice.

Jolie says she doesn’t pay mind to that kind of chatter, nor does she consume media that would feature such content. And does not surround herself with people who would subscribe to her famous limb’s Twitter feed.

‘I honestly didn’t pay attention to it. You know what I mean? I don’t watch those TV shows, and if I go online and see something about myself, I don’t click on it. And the people I surround myself with don’t really talk about that kind of stuff,’ she told HuffPo.

‘I heard something, but I didn’t pay any attention. It’s as simple as being a woman picking a dress you like and having a night and not really thinking about anything else.’

So perhaps with her dismissal of the silly (but hilarious) pop culture event we close the chapter on her leg and usher it back inside the folds of that black Versace number. But remember, Angie: There’s always another carpet.
