Bethenny Frankel had a miscarriage eight weeks into her second pregnancy, the reality TV star revealed Monday.

‘That was a very emotional experience, and it had a lot of different things that came with it,’ she said Monday on the ‘Today’ show, her voice cracking as she spoke. ‘Thinking about women who can’t have their own baby, even the first baby, I mean, I’m really lucky. I have the most beautiful daughter in the world and I’m grateful for her.’

Regarding continuing to try for a second child, the 41-year-old said, ‘It’s not really my choice .... the window is closing.’ She said the miscarriage was very recent and isn’t dealt with on the new season of her show, ‘Bethenny Ever After.’

Now remember, we’re talking about someone who once populated ‘The Real Housewives of New York,’ and it’s reality TV, so it isn’t all sadness: She also discussed the, ahem, ‘cobwebs’ that have gathered on her husband’s, um, man parts, now that they’re in the two are in their second year of marriage. Oh my.

‘I have sex,’ she clarified later on the show to Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford. However, ‘It’s not as much as I’d like.’

‘Bethenny Ever After’ is back for its third season starting Monday night on Bravo.
