Lady Gaga’s father, Joe Germanotta, has one generous little elf on his hands: His pop diva daughter reportedly pays out half of her income to him.

Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, is said to pay Joe 50% of her earnings via their two companies, Team Love Child and Mermaid Music. She even purchased a New York City restaurant for her patriarch, according to the New York Post.

‘There’s really no justifiable sense to doing a 50/50 deal with anyone in your career, other than someone you’re partners in a band with,’ one entertainment lawyer told the Post regarding the atypical arrangement.

If Gaga chooses to keep all her cash in the family, that’s her prerogative. She gives plenty to others through her creativity, including her latest endeavor: a stylish holiday workshop at Barneys New York.

The ‘Bad Romance’ singer will take over the entire men’s department for Gaga’s Workshop, a holiday-themed pop-up shop that opens Monday night just before midnight and remains open until Jan. 2. Barney’s will donate 25% of all sales from the shop to her Born This Way Foundation.

Need more Gaga to trim your tree? She’s hosting her very own special, ‘A Very Gaga Thanksgiving,’ Thursday on ABC.
