Amazing news, Lady Gaga’s little monsters -- you get to learn all about your mother.

Or some folks at Lifetime television would hope so, as the cable channel is moving forward with an original movie about the star’s meteoric rise to fame. ‘Fame Monster: The Lady Gaga Story’ is in pre-production at the network, reports say.

While Gaga herself isn’t involved in the picture, the network reportedly will chart the life and times of Stefani Germanotta -- the Manhattan schoolgirl who broke from her Italian Catholic roots to become a musical sensation.

The pic is based on the 2010 book, ‘’Poker Face: The Rise and Rise of Lady Gaga’ by Maureen Callahan. No star has been cast as the Lady, a daunting task at least thanks to some of the getups she’s prone to wearing.

‘When we first meet her she is a dark-haired, offbeat, very talented and intensely ambitious teen. She comes from a Italian/American well-off, close-knit, Upper West Side NYC family,’ a casting note for the project reads.
