Emmys 2011: Chuck Lorre is all about keeping it zipped [Video]
What has "Two and a Half Men" show runner Chuck Lorre learned from his, ahem, adventures in the past year or so? Well, he wasn't getting specific on the 2011 Emmy Awards red carpet Sunday, but one general rule of thumb should keep him on the winning side of things.
"You can't get too far ahead of yourself ... ," he said, talking about his expectations for the evening. "Just hope your zipper is closed and do what you can."
Lorre wound up seeing two wins notched on productions bearing his name, with Jim Parsons taking home actor in a comedy honors for "The Big Bang Theory," which was also nominated for top comedy series, and Melissa McCarthy bagging the outstanding actress in a comedy trophy for "Mike & Molly."
As far as Tuesday's debut of the retooled "Two and a Half Men" with Ashton Kutcher, well, "You'll just have to watch it," Lorre said, otherwise keeping it zipped about the show, and about Charlie Sheen.
