Jennifer Aniston admits she was a horrible waitress
Jennifer Aniston, it would seem, owes a few people a few pairs of Swiss cheese-free pants.
The actress, whose "Horrible Bosses" opens next month, confessed recently that in her days trying to make it to television and movie stardom she was a fairly horrible waitress.
"I waited a lot of tables, and I wasn't very good at that," she told Marie Claire. "I dropped more than one Alpine burger in customers' laps, and you just do not want all of that Swiss cheese and mushrooms in your pants."
Perhaps those powers of intuition led to her success as an actress, something she was grateful for in her early days living in Los Angeles.
"I spent my first paycheck on a vintage Mercedes," she said.
"I started getting pilots and working pretty regularly. I still didn't make any decent money until I got on 'Friends.' "
Decent indeed.
