Estella Warren charged with DUI, hit-and-run and battery on a police officer

Estella Warren was charged Thursday with four misdemeanor counts -- DUI, hit-and-run, battery on a police officer and resisting an officer -- stemming from an early morning arrest May 24 in West L.A.

The actress and former Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated model was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence and more after allegedly crashing her Toyota Prius into parked cars and attempting to escape authorities. Warren reportedly left the scene of the accident, kicked an officer while she was being detained and tried to make a run for it.

Authorities didn’t pursue a felony escape charge against the ‘Planet of the Apes’ actress, TMZ said in May, because she was not yet booked into the system when she managed to slip out of handcuffs and attempted to leave the police station.

Warren, who’s out on $100,000 bail is scheduled to be arraigned June 17. She faces up to 2 1/2 years behind bars if convicted on all charges, according to E! News.
