Sofia Coppola prepares for a summer wedding with Phoenix singer Thomas Mars

Looks like Sofia Coppola will live la dolce vita come summer with main man Thomas Mars -- the director and the Phoenix rocker will wed in Italy this August.
‘They are getting married and having an intimate family wedding,’ Coppola’s rep told People.
Coppola and Mars have two children: Romy, 4, and Cosima, 1. This will be the second marriage for Coppola.
The nuptials will honor the director’s roots, with the occasion taking place in Bernalda in southern Italy. Her father, the legendary Francis Ford Coppola, will provide the location -- Palazzo Margherita, his 19th century villa that is currently undergoing renovations.
Bet on brother Roman Coppola to make an appearance, and presumably many of Sofia’s famous friends such as designer Marc Jacobs. Congrats to the happy couple!
