Matthew Perry is headed back to rehab
Matthew Perry has an appointment to head back to rehab.
The actor announced Thursday that he intends to check into a treatment facility, where he'll further address previous addictions to prescription drugs and alcohol.
"I'm making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery," the actor said in a statement.
In true Perry style, he's having the last laugh, adding: "Please enjoy making fun of me on the World Wide Web."
The stint will last one month and, according to People magazine, was not inspired by a relapse. Perry has two previous check-ins for rehabilitation, in 1997 and 2001. His most recent gig was top-lining the ABC comedy "Mr. Sunshine."
