Ginnifer Goodwin and fiance Joey Kern have called off their engagement and split, according to a report out Friday.

The acting couple, who got engaged in December after a couple of years together, ‘broke up a few weeks ago,’ a source told People.

Goodwin, 32, and Kern, 34, were part of a flood of celebs who got engaged and/or married over the winter holidays, with a partial list of names including Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris, Jason Mraz and Tristan Prettyman, Vivica A. Fox and Omar ‘Slimm’ White, Sherri Shepherd and Lamar ‘Sal’ Sally, Bret MIchaels and Kristi Gibson, and Shania Twain and Frederic Thiebaud. Kelly Pickler and Valerie Bertinelli were also among the brides.

Goodwin, whose HBO series ‘Big Love’ wrapped in March after five seasons, was most recently seen on the big screen in ‘Something Borrowed.’ Kern for the most part has been doing episodic TV work.

The two parted amicably and intend to stay friends, the People source said.
