When you’re George Clooney, everyone is a fan -- so good luck having an A-list 50th birthday dinner in public.

Though his birthday fell on Friday, Thursday evening saw the star gathered with some pals and girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis for eats at Beverly Hills’ Mr. Chow. His inner sanctum was thwarted, however, by none other than Jackie Collins and Kirstie Alley.

Both ladies tweeted their excitement over seeing Clooney, as well as former television duo Ray Romano and Brad Garrett.

Heavy on the exclamation marks, Alley tweeted, ‘Jeez... I’m having dinner and I swear this is the most star studded restaurant I’ve ever been in!!... Impressive!!!’

The ‘Dancing With the Stars’ diva may not have divulged the identity of Clooney and his party at that moment, but Jackie picked up the baton.

Collins, dining with Kathy Griffin, offered ‘Fun dinner at CHOWS. with Kathy Griffin. Spotted George Clooney & beautiful gf Elizabetta. Also Kirsti Alley looking major svelte.’

Collins pointed out that Alley was dining with John Travolta‘s wife Kelly Preston.

Want to celebrate George in your own way? Los Angeles restaurant Locanda del Lago, with cuisine inspired by the location of one of Clooney’s residences, Lake Como, has created a signature cocktail in celebration of the actor.

The Clooney, left, is made with No. 209 Gin, Oro Blanco grapefruit, blood orange, Aperol and St. Germain Elderflower liqueur. Mix, smile wide with a great tan and pop in those ‘ER’ DVDs.

Happy Birthday, George.
