'Twilight' alum Cam Gigandet is back in the vampire lane
Original "Twilight" bad guy Cam Gigandet has the blood bug again, returning this month as a vampire-hunting sheriff in "Priest," a new flick that falls in the fanged genre.
"'Priest' is like 'The Searchers' with vampires," Gigandet said of the action thriller, though admittedly this pretty boy is accustomed to a bit more makeup than his idol and that movie's star, John Wayne.
Blame that in part on his 2-year-old daughter, who is fond of make-believe, according to GQ, which found him playing dress-up with her while modeling bold colors and big arms. Seems she can man out with her dad when necessary.
"I could go out somewhere and talk to a bunch of strangers," he said. "Or I could sit and watch 'Megamind' for the seventh time with my little girl. That usually wins out."
