Anna Kournikova just landed a new job -- as a trainer on ‘The Biggest Loser.’ Can the tennis star possibly crack the weight-loss whip like exiting fan favorite Jillian Michaels? We’re about to find out.

As Michaels said her final goodbye during the Season 11 finale on Tuesday (she plans to take time off to start a family), Kournikova made her new role official. Now she’s hoping her many years of training as a pro will translate to the ‘Biggest Loser’ ranch.

‘The mind is a powerful thing,’ she said on the show. ‘You can make things happen if you want them bad enough. I know all about discipline, strength, conditioning, commitment. This is my chance to give back. This is an opportunity of a lifetime, and now I’m going to teach the contestants everything I know.’

The Russian-born athlete, 29, must have made quite an impression in Season 10 when she came on the show to teach the contestants cardio tennis. Watch the clip below to get a little taste of Kournikova’s training style.

And in case you missed it, Olivia Ward was officially named the Season 11 ‘Biggest Loser’ on the live show. The 35-year-old lost 129 pounds, just enough to beat her sister, Hannah Curlee, 32, for the $250,000 win. Her lil’ sis only shed 120 pounds.
